Warm well made never smell

I walk 4 miles a day in the Midwest winter weather in these Smartwool socks. They keep my feet warm enough and the softness keeps my feet comfortable.

I've been using these for several years now. They are extremely durable, even when I'm walking out to fetch the mail sans shoes. These socks paired with my Merrell Winter Mocs and I'm good to go no matter how cold or wet.

These are the only hiking socks i will use and I do lots of hiking with and without a fully loaded pack. I also use them in my cross country ski boots and in my winter boots for snowshoeing. I literally own about 10 pairs and I have some that are over 20 years old. The only negative thing about them is that if you wash them a lot they will eventually get less soft and more "condensed" as the wool kind of gets a felted feel to it. But you have to wash them a lot for them to get to that stage...like I said some of mine are over 20 years old...

I wear them with my rain boots and they are so comfortable. Great socks! They keep my feet nice and dry.

I love these socks. Keep my feet warm all year. Great for hiking. I have 6 pairs. Only wish they came in solid black (can't find a cozy solid black sock for women anywhere).

I wear these in boots everyday in Michigan winters and they keep my feet warm in the worst weather. This is the only sock that I've found in 2.5 years in Michigan that has kept my feet warm and dry day in and day out. Recommend without hesitation!

Have you ever found a product that is so good, it actually causes you to have a little "what if they stop making these one day" anxiety? I'm very tempted to order a lifetime's supply just in case! Merino wool is absolutely the way to go and these socks are it! They are warm, crazy comfortable and not itchy at all. Best of all, they can be soaking wet and still feel dry. It's something you have to experience to truly appreciate if you've never worn good socks. Great for hiking and anything else outdoors in colder weather.

I use this product for hiking and when I'm working outdoors. Great for fall and spring, probably a little light for a cold winter day though.

These socks continue to be a favorite of mine. I owned a pair about five years ago and just recently decided to expand my collection. They are perfectly cushioned throughout the footbed, sturdily made, and keep my feet warm and comfortable all day long.

I wash Smartwool socks in every laundry load. Fortunately, I can wash the pairs my husband owns with either light clothes or dark clothes. Otherwise, six pairs might not be enough.
