Very comfortable boot

I have achilles tendonitis and these are my go-to boot. I wear them everyday. They have never caused a flair up. So comfortable and supportive.

I have been wearing this boot for years

Probably should have got a half size smaller, but overall a great boot. This is my 4th pair over a few iterations and they have changed the fit a few times.

Great Boot I decided to go to the Tanner Store in Denver as I needed a 11 wide not a 11.5.

Most comfortable boot I've ever owned.

Comfortable right out of the box. I've taken these on wet winter hikes and the traction and waterproofing are terrific, and these look great in town too. Build quality is clearly evident, and the small details like the lacing system go a long way.

They are very comfortable and very easy to get on and off.

These are not serious hiking boots. Theyre fashion boots. The build quality is cheap. They skimped on the padding so the fit isnt right. And if you tie them tightly the laces dig into your foot. The underfoot feel is hard as a rock and feels cheap. The outsole isnt nearly as grippy as they used to be. They moved these boots downmarket while still charging that premium price. The name Danner used to mean quality. Theyre throwing that reputation away with subpar offerings like this. Dont buy.

Light as a feather and sturdy as a board with out slippage

Really like these for hiking in local hills. They're light comfortable with very good grip in loos chalky dirt and slick dry rocks.

The biggest problem here is that it's often not immediately evident that a boot is too narrow until you've worn it, but unfortunately Danner does not allow returns after the boot has been worn. I am now stuck trying to sell the boot on eBay or similar. Also, Danner does not offer the Saddle Tan in a wide option so I settled for the Grizzly Brown but I really do not like that it's only available in a suede/nubuck style finish. It's a bummer that your signature saddle tan is unavailable in a EE option for this boot.

These boots are as comfortable as all my past Mountain 600s and I love this new color-way. The lace length has been improved over previous years (now a little shorter). My only issue is that the left outsole has one spot at the heel edge that didnt get properly adhered. Its an easy fix, but still a little annoying. Overall, Id recommend these boots and I will be buying them again in the future.

the mountain 600 look really cool, have great traction and feel light as a feather on my feet. For winter I am going back to the catalog to look for a 6-8 inch version. For now with no snow I love them and look forward to my daily walks in my mountain 600. They fit wonderfully with my molded orthotics too. If that helps anyone decide.

I bought these boots back in 2020 when I first moved to Vermont, I heard a lot of great things about Danner's and this would be my first pair. I wore them for a mix of just about everything, hiking Mount Mansfield, walking around Burlington and occasionally even for yardwork! The Pros: they're extremely comfortable, fit well and true to size; you have flexibility in the density of sock you want to use. I found the soles to be super grippy, never a worry about wiping out. The Bad: they sprung a few leaks, one boot at the base/seam of the boot and sole by the toe box and the other boot on top of the toes box. Vermont trails are usually pretty soupy, I was hoping these would hold up better. They stink! Well, they hold a lot of odor; I had to be sure not to leave them in the back of my car or phew! Also, change out the insoles to something else, Danner offers good solutions in that department that fit perfectly. As the title suggests, a good boot but I've had other boots that cost less perform better for longer with less maintenance than these Danner's.

I'm a return customer...found the Mountain 600's comfortable w/o requiring breaking-in, right from the box. Great on the trail & fashionable too...Top notch!

Have not wore them enough for a review yet. What little I have wore them they have felt good so far.
