I really wanted to like these boots for hiking and some easy climbing. I have a wide foot and these were on sale on Amazon. What's so frustrating is that they are hardly wide. They are NARROW. Toes are close to each other and cannot stretch whatsoever.

As many have said, these are perfect out of the box, with little to zero break in, and I couldn't agree more! They are extremely comfortable for all day wear. From hiking the trails, to walking the dog around the block or grocery shopping, these are the perfect choice. I purchased the Mountain 600 4.5" Chocolate Chip/Golden Oak in late June of 2023, and by the time late November 2023 rolled around, I had to buy the updated recraftable Mountain 600 Leaf 4.5" Loam Brown/Glazed Ginger GTX so that I can replace the soles when the time comes. I had zero problems with waterproofing, stitching, support or sizing, it was the sole that let me down. I would have thought I would have got more than 5 or 6 months out of them with the Vibram sole, but that was not the case. I would recommend them despite the wearing of the sole. I had the same issue in under 7 months with the Free Spirit Brown/Navy which were also a great boot.

Comfortable, good fit, water proof, quality construction. Only issue is they don't breathe well holding moisture inside from foot sweat. Overall pretty satisfied.

Danner is nothing to write home about, other than how bad they are. Their customer service is top notch. I assume because their products are awful. On my second pair of 600s (good thing the first ones blew out before the first year). The first pairs leather stitching came undone at the ball of my foot. Then the second pair is separating from the sole itself in the same spot. Do they look great, yes. Do they perform, yes. Do they last and are they reliable, absolutely not. The last time I will ever buy danner (but it has such a rich history and American made.. go else where.) And for the price I shouldve went with another brand. Very dissatisfied. Wouldnt recommend to my exs new boyfriend.

I purchased these boots after getting an email about sale during the holidays. I have been familiar with Danner boots since serving in the Military. The boots arrived no issues. I took them along while on a visit to Berlin. I was initially concerned because this would be my first time wearing this pair, and was unsure of the break in period. There were no issues with the fit, or break in needed. The soles where very comfortable, and I was able to walk around the city without an issue. I will definitely purhcase different models with Danner in the future.

I bought these as a Xmas gift for my husband and he loves them. True to size, comfortable and they look great!

Love 'em. Supple leather accommodates wide spot on foot that Mountain Lights couldn't do, at least for a long time. Very comfortable. Appreciate your having double E's.

These boots were comfortable and kept my feet warm and dry! They were great for all day exploring through Scandinavia's ice, snow, slush and rain. They look great too!

This is my second pair of Danner boots. First pair were awesome I still have them but I wore the sole out of them after 5 years. These boots are awesome too. No complaints. Looking forward to wearing the sole out of these. 5 years you cant go wrong

Most comfortable pair of hiking boots Ive ever owned. There is absolutely no break in period, as they are ready for the trail or the town right out of the box. Im very impressed by the quality and have received many compliments on them.
