I'm mid 40's, 6' tall, 215 lbs. I walk about 15k steps a day in a medium sized hospital, with quite a few flights of stairs thrown in. I have 2 pairs of these shoes that I have worn 5 days a week for about 6 months.
Pros: I love the look, and the price is fair. I have only once or twice had any aches or pains in my feet. Moisture and odor control seem great.
Cons: I have a few scuffs, but I'm not sure if it's my wear or the durability of the leather.

These are really substantial and high quality shoes. You have to know how to order them in the correct size in order to get the fit and comfort that is available. I happen to have wide feet. Not crazy wide, but I ordered the 5E version of these. In my usual size of 10.5 these are way too big, because as you go wider the length increases as well. This is the correct way to size shoes, but many of us are not used to actual and traditional sizing and the relationship between the length and the size. I wound up being correctly fitted in 9.5EEEEE when I typically am wearing a 10.5 in dress or 11 in the case of running shoes. be aware of this if you are ordering a wide or the 5E, you have to go down in size at the same time. Do this and you will find this to be an excellent and comfortable shoe from a great maker and vendor with service you cannot beat.

The only type of dress shoes that I ever purchase are Florsheim. The quality of the product as well as the fit of the shoes keep me coming back. I have a very wide foot. Florsheim shoes are my perfect fit.

Terrific shoes. I love them. Extremely comfortable and high quality construction. And great customer service: When the shoes I'd ordered arrived and the shoes fit as if they were 1/2 to 1 size too large, they exchanged the shoes immediately and made sure that I got the smaller size in time for a planned trip. I've worn Florsheim shoes since I was a kid (a lot of years ago) and based on this purchase will continue to do so.

These shoes looked fine although they were returned because they were too big. I try to find 4E shoes which is nearly impossible. Some 5E fit and some are too large. These were very large and I had to send them back.

Design is elegant with just a little pop stitching on the heel upper. Size (12D) is a true fit. Color is true to the online pic (Cognac- a modern update to solid tan or brown) Very comfortable with the Ortholite insole, the rubber outsole and heel, and the comfort padding around the top upper. Has a sure tread feel on all surfaces. A substantial, well built shoe that is light as well. I wear it for dress up. Florsheim Shoe Company is very nice to buy from: Excellent products, free and fast shipping. Free returns, but had no need to do any returns of my purchases. One of the better online stores.
