I decided to try UGG because my regular boots are not quite warm enough. I ordered what I believed would be a half a size larger than I normally wear. When I tried them on, I was doubly-disappointed. First, the opening more narrow than I expected. Since I have high arches it was a struggle to get them on but I did (it was like putting on a riding boot!). But, even worse, what I thought would be a little more roomy was actually almost too small! The end of the boot not only touched my toes, but the toe area was small and rubbed the top of them - and I had on regular socks, not thick. What a disappointment. I appreciate that Zappos accepts returns, so they will definitely be going back and I will keep searching for a warm boot.

Run big...need to offer half sizes in this style.

These boots are too tight at the ankle, so very difficult to pull on, also they are too wide in the toes area . lengthwise it is true to size (i bought my usual 9M)

The sand color is gorgeous and they are very comfortable; however, as other reviewers have noted the short shaft necessitates using the tab in the back to get them onto your feet. Unfortunately, after 3 months (worn maybe 3-5 times?) and being as gentle as I could with the tab, one of the tabs ripped along the seams -- for the cost of these boots and the obvious need for the tab, I was disappointed in the quality. I contacted Zappos, who graciously agreed to take them back. I will definitely keep shopping with Zappos but would not repurchase these Minis since the unenforced tab seems to be a pretty significant design flaw.
