The sneaker even though i got wide are still a little narrow. My biggest compliant and i wish i knew before i wore them so i could return is the heel. The heel has inner stitching that rubs the back of your foot when you walk. No idea why companys would design inner stichings for a sneaker knowing that the foot has so many nerves.

I own many pair of Propay shoes. I bought the 5E with, and this is an incredibly narrow shoe. I actually thought they sent me the wrong size. However, I checked, and it is the size labeled on the actual shoe. This is the first propane shoe I would not recommend. It is very heavy, very uncomfortable, and very narrow.

Depth of the shoe to shallow. My foot was coming out.

I'm so disappointed. I have 2 pairs of the same size (8.5 5E) in the higher rise version of this boot and I love them! This low rise version is in no way the same 5E width. It is narrow.

It was tight through the toes. Had to return.

Limited volume inside, as I need to accommodate orthotics.

the width was awesome...shoe is very comfortable....super hard to find a shoe like this...the only drawback was that the heal slipped when walking... no way to get it from slipping.... i have 2 pairs of the high tops and they dont slip.. had to return the low tops and buy the high tops again...

Too tight in the instep area. I have orthotics and they didn’t even lie flat.

I wear an 11 in womens, so I figured a 10 in men's should be plenty. Not so. This felt smaller than an 11 in womens! Very well made, but sizing was very disappointing. My Propet Delaneys are wonderful -- womens 11, roomy and comfy. Wish they made a sneaker, too.

The are beautiful shoes, but the soles are so stiff, that they do not bend with my feet as I walk. I couldn't use them. I weigh 172 and take a size 15 shoe. Maybe if I weighed 100 pounds more, I would be big enough to bend the soles as I walk.

Before I ever got onto the trail, I felt strong and tough while wearing these shoes (in the living room). They are aesthetically pleasing, and the soles look like they could handle any of the rocky trails I hike. But, my heels lift up as I walk. I tried tightening the laces and putting my orthotic devices on top of the insoles, to compensate for my low volume feet. Then, I realized that the thick trail ready soles do not flex sufficiently for my heels to stay in place. Maybe they would flex for a heavier person (I weigh 172 lbs and wear a size 15 3E), but my body structure does not match those thick soles.

I wanted to keep this shoe because it has a terrific lug pattern for hiking, but the heel cup had no upper contour to keep my heel in the shoe. I wear size 13 - 14 depending on the manufacturer, and I tried size 13 and 14, but both were so loose in the heel cup that no matter how tightly I tied the shoe, my heel kept slipping out of the shoe. I returned them and found a much better fitting shoe in size 14 with decent lugs and a snug heel cup, Asics Gel Venture 8 that I'm happy with, at least at this point.

Overall, the shoe is fine. It’s a bit too heavy for my spouse to wear every day on her courier route. The waterproof upper is a great option for the rain and puddles. She ended up keeping a New Balance pair I ordered at the same time.

I wore these shoes for a while but the shoe laces are short, they come untied, can't double tie them because they get too tight and uncomfortable. I have gotten blisters from wearing them walking. Won't be buying these again and I'm very disapointed.

These shoes feel a little tight for the size. Annoyingly, I had to re-lace each shoe as the lace ends were not equal by several inches. I'm probably going to get new laces as those on the shoes keep coming undone no matter how tight the knots are.

Tried 2nd pair of this model in case 1st were just missed tagged as 5e WAY too narrow This 5e shoe is probably just a 2e

Many buyers are saying the Propet are narrower than prior shoes they have purchased. I agree - this is the second different pair of Propet that are supposed to be a 5W but feel narrower. Never had this issue before with this brand. Zappos should notify Propet that something is wrong in their sizing in their factory in China. I won't be purchasing Propet in the future. I am going to try Drew for $50 more but hopefully less agrivation.

The shoes appeared to be well madenand sturdy. However, they simply not wide like they claimed to be. The 5Es lasted about 10nsevonds on my feet.

Overall, I regret this purchase because these shoes ended up being too narrow and therefore uncomfortable. 5E width is normally good for me. Unfortunately this wasn't completely obvious until it was too late to return these. I had to wear them long enough to know how comfortable they would be during extended use. I'm very disappointed. Now for the positive side. While these shoes won't be good for normal extended daily use, they were sufficient for hiking. Actually, much better than expected for hiking. I didn't notice the narrow width much while on the go. Good traction. And the waterproofing was great considering the hike had several spots with shallow water crossing the trail. Even the low cut wasn't an issue for hiking (I just had to lace them up well to ensure sufficient support).

Good Looking very Well Made Shoe, Bought them primarily to do some power walking approaching 60 Quickly - Worn about 4 times after putting Gel Pads in However shoe is very uncomfortable/stiff may just need more break in . Although I believe I will Go back to NB walking shoes as i had earlier , wore well 3-4 times a week 1-2 miles held up well 3 years not bad and extremly comfortable- As always Zappo's Service is Premier :)

These shoes have potential. However since their idea of a 5E is more like a 4E, I'm going to have to try again with the wider fit.

First off, these were narrower than a typical 5E, especially for Propet. I have a different pair in a similar width that are much wider. It in part has to do with the style - the toe of the shoe is not very blunt/rounded and the widest part of the shoe isn't a true 5E. I'd say my biggest problem with these shoes though would be how HEAVY they are. They are some seriously clunky shoes. About as heavy as the steel-toed boots I have. Beware

I was a little hesitant to order due to “ narrow “ mentioned more than once. I learned at delivery. Nice style but much narrower than described.

This is the first time I ordered shoes online. I really liked Zappos, my order came so quickly. Due to an injury, I have a problem with shoes. Even though I ordered a 5e the left shoe is a bit small. But it is the best fit that I have worn in a long time.
