Feels correct length but slightly narrow. Quite stiff as new but I believe they will be comfortable once broken in. Appear well made.

This was my first Propet shoe. I had been buying 4E New Balance but they discontinued the models I previously bought. I bought this Propet in 5E which is a bit wide in the heel and not quite as wide in the toe as I would have liked. I kept it anyway because of the difficulty in finding the "perfect" wide shoe and hope that it works out ok.

Sits high and snug around ankles. Very comfortable otherwise. Great traction. Like it.

Way to narrow.

I returned the shoes because the 5D width in this shoe seemed no wider than an EE in most other shoes. Otherwise, the quality of the shoe seemed fine.

I bought these shoes for my husband for walking in the winter conditions here in Maine. He likes them and finds them comfortable and waterproof as advertised.

This is the second time that I ordered this shoe. The fit was better the first time. The first pair literally feel apart, but in all fairness I did wear them a lot in wet conditions. The reason that I re-ordered the same shoe is because they are truely waterproof in shallow water, which I have to say is hard to find, even with more expensive brand name shoes that claim to be waterproof. They are also pretty comfortable even after hours of hiking.

My first pair of Propét Men's Stability Walker Sneakers fit well but didn't last very long before having separation issues with the soles and uppers. Took a chance on another pair because they are so lightweight. Hope these last longer.

nice shoe. looks great. light weight but with just enough heft to make it a great hiking shoe. runs narrow. had to order one size larger than usual. Very happy with shoe once I got the fit right.

Have nerve damage in my feet these shoes do help alot

Very comfortable. OK in toe area, wide and loose in heel area. Quick, on time delivery.

I first ordered a pair of 13-3E and they were way too narrow. I usually wear a 13-4E in Dunhams so I ordered the 13-5E in the Propets. Better, but the area where my foot is the widest, just behind my toes, the shoe was still uncomfortably narrow.

A little big but not big enough to return. I wanted a less expensive walking / hiking show and this fit the bill. Heavy compared to my sandals and running shoes which I wear most of the time but that is too be expected. Pretty good shoes and happy with the purchase.

I have purchased propet brand before and these were wider than any of my others. Other than that they were very comfortable.

Chronically wide feet and poorly fitting shoes have provided me with bunions since retirement. Few of the main companies provide shoes or boots of sufficient width to alleviate and manage this painful problem; Propet has been one of them. For several years the Propet Cliff Walker has been my mainstay for hiking boots: Size 14 5E. I expected these Ridge Walkers would provide a comparable fit. Unfortunately, a quick turn around the living room resurrected that familiar discomfort for which I had long abandoned Keens and Merrills. Not much more to say about this short encounter, but they appear to be as well constructed as the Cliff Walkers, only with a more sharply pointed toe.

I have lymphedema, so my left foot is quite a bit wider, and this shoe fits my left foot snugly. The people saying that they run narrow are correct. If it were any more snug, I would return them, but I think that they will work out nicely for me. They are a nice looking shoe, and seem well put together. I have not worn them off-trail or in wet conditions yet, but I will report back when I have. Overall, a good shoe for me.

My husband has issues with his feet and these shoes were recommended by the orthopedic dr. These are basically the only shoes he likes to wear. Unfortunately, the style doesn't work for all occassions.

This is good looking shoes but too narrow for my foot. I purchased these in a size 10-3E which has been my shoe size and foot width for many years. This shoe was not wide enough for my foot so unfortunately I had to return them. I usually purchase New Balance because they are the only shoe company that makes wide size shoes in most of their styles. I have not find a retail shoe that carries wide size shoes. I used to go Dick's Sporting which is two miles from my home and I have never found any athletic shoes there in wide sizes. That also includes retail department stores or any shoe outlet in the malls. I have been purchasing shoes from Zappos for many years and have always been happy with their customer service and return policy.

Ridge Walkers were very comfortable right from the start. BUT, I have a very high instep and almost ran out of lace before tying! This shoe runs narrow. I usually take a EEE but had to take a EEEEE in this model. That larger size fit fine.

3E did not feel at all like a typical 3E.

A great choice. Comfortable right out of the box. Light enough but with the support needed for a full day of walking. Felt a little short so ordered 1/2 size up and it was perfect.

The 10 and 10.5 I ordered felt the same size. They were so similar that I got the sizes switched around when guessing which was which in a blind test. Hopefully size 11 is a little larger.

I wanted to try something other then the New Balance sneakers that I've been wearing for years. This Propet model fits just fine but is a little too clunky & heavy for my taste. Otherwise it's a fine shoe.

Very uncomfortable. Thought they would break in, it never happened.

The shoe itself appeared to be well enough made. However: When someone orders a shoe with 5E width it is clear they are looking for a wide fitting shoe. This shoe has a very narrow toebox and the width does not feel or fit like a 5E. If you actually need a 5E, you probably should skip on this shoe.
