TERRIBLE ARCH SUPPORT

I am really trying to love these boots. Inlove the comfort just not maybe the style. I wear a 37 in birk sandals and orders 37 in these and they fit great. I sometimes wear bootcut pants and the shaft of the boots can be seen outlined under the pant legs. The shaft is not close fitting to the leg.

comfortable and not hard to put on at all, and I have a wider than average foot. Did not go up a size and they fit great. Im returning because the style was a little too "cowboy" for me.

These are very cute boots that fit true to size. Sadly, they hurt the ball of my foot. I was hoping the birkenstock footbed would allow me to wear the 1' heel, but I guess I need the negative heel flat.

I love these boots! I had no idea that Birkenstock made boots. I wear Birkenstocks year round due to severe plantar fascitis. I have a narrow foot and heels, so I will have to add a thin insole under the removable foot bed. This way, I will still get all the benefits of the wonderful arch support. Thank you Zappos and Birkenstock!!

Love the boot...super cute...reviews are correct. I have extremely thin/skinny feet and they are difficult to get on, but they do stretch. If you have wider feet or I would say even average feet I would size up. I ordered the grey too in a size larger and they fit as well...would size up for black but they are sold out...I wear an 8.5 in most all shoes except tennis shoes and a 9 would have been better in these.

I was a little nervous to purchase these boots because they were expensive and I didn't know how they'd look in person. But, I live in my Birk sandals in the summer and needed a comfy winter shoe (that wasn't a gym shoe!). They arrived and are very cute in person! I ordered the same size as my sandal and actually felt they were a little big, but with some thicker winter socks they fit just about perfect. The first day I wore them, we walked all day and I was distressed that my feet hurt... I totally forgot Birks need to be broken in! Now I've had them a few weeks and they feel great. Other reviews said they are difficult to get on, and they are. But they just take an extra wiggle or two and are not impossible to get on. For me, the comfort and cuteness really outweigh the slightly annoying job of putting them on. Hope to buy a different color next season!

LOVE these. I've had these a few months and wear these more than any other shoes I have. I ordered one size up like others suggested. Originally, I was wary of these shoes when I read that people couldn't get their foot in it, but I had absolutely no problem. I will admit I don't need the zipper on the side; I never use it. My foot slides in and out easily without it. They're beautiful, comfortable, and good for my feet. Honestly I can't imagine life without these boots.

I have the tan in size 10 and I absolutely love them!! They are true to size for me. A little bit snug getting on the first few times but after that I can slip them on. Great support and comfortable walking in them all day.

i was worried after reading the other reviews regarding the difficulty in putting the boot on, however, they are so easy slip on for me, I did not even have to unzip....??? The only reason I am returning these is because they did not look flattering on me. I prefer a slightly more feminine look

As everyone said they are hard to get on ....that's the only downside. However, I have really skinny feet so it's not a problem for me. These are super cute and comfortable I want to get gray next!

I was looking for a short, slouchy boot I could wear to walk around in without killing my feet. These boots are cute and so easy to wear. They are a little on the wide side, but fit better when I wear thick socks. I did not have a problem getting them on and off as others did. Glad I purchased!

Cute! These will look good with leggings, jeans, even shorts and dresses. I purchased grey, & they are a pretty charcoal color with deeper grey where they've been waxed. I did not have any trouble getting them on like some reviewers mentioned. These are my first pair of Birkenstocks, and I LOVE THEM.

After reading reviews, I almost didn't order but I had no trouble getting them on. I didn't even have too unzip side zip. I do have narrow ankles but I had plenty of room to put on and remove.

Purchased for my wife, fits perfectly and lives them - compliments from all of her friends. Well recommended.

They are harder to get on but I have really skinny feet so not so bad. I love these ...super cute but not as comfortable as my regular Birkenstock sandals.

I bought these to replace a pair of "designer" ankle boots that fit terribly. I have been wearing Birks for about 30 years and these didn't disappoint. I have a high instep and was so happy that I can easily pull them on and they're so comfortable. I ordered a size larger and am able to wear winter socks with them. The toe box also is roomy for my quirky toes. Love them!

I was thrilled to see that Birkenstock had a short boot. It took me just a bit to get it on and I have a narrow foot. I then wore them for several hours and they were very comfortable. The second time they were easier to get on. I received many compliments and felt that I had finally found a short boot that worked for me. I would recommend them to anyone.

Okay, yes, these boots were a little difficult to put on. I was well-prepared for this issue after reading the reviews. It took me about 30 seconds per boot and I will be buying a long shoe horn to see if this helps at all. I do have wide feet so honestly expected more difficulty with this. Like other reviewers mentioned, a full zipper would have been a huge plus. Despite that, these boots are wonderful. I am a huge fan of Birkenstock's comfort and quality and these boots definitely exceeded those expectations. I wore them all day at work yesterday with a dress and leggings and had many compliments. The boots are a little snug across the top of my foot but already stretched a bit after just one day of use. I didn't get any blisters or painful spots after being on my feet most of the day. Like most of the Birkenstocks I own, I expect these will take a week or two to completely break in but I look forward to many years of wear.

These boots are cuter in person than the pic. I wear a 36 sandal and got a 36 boot. I wear medium thickness socks with them. Perfect fall/winter boots. They are as comfortable as Birk sandals, but in boot form! The first few times I put them on, they were hard to get on, as others have mentioned in reviews. However, I liked them so much and wanted to make them work! After 4 or 5 times of wear, they go on easy. It was worth the few difficult times getting them on in the morning/taking off at night to have kept them. They are great boots, pull on easy after a few times and are so comfortable all day! Great purchase. Wish they made more cute Birk shoes in addition to sandals!

Love these boots! I didn't realize Birkenstock made boots. The footbed is extremely comfortable for my wide feet. Like other reviewers mentioned, they can be a little tricky to get on, but it didn't take me very long (maybe 10 seconds per shoe). I got my normal Birkenstocks sandal size (39, and I'm usually a 8.5) and it feels fine with socks.

I didn't like the fit.
