This style is designed for women (though I think a guy could wear them too :) and I find they look cuter and are just a bit more narrow than the unisex 550 boots which I also own and love. The Shiraz is a great color and looks great with black leggings. I've gotten lots of complements and questions on these boots. In terms of sizing, I do wear the same size in these boots as the 550s so if you know your Blundstone size just go with that. If first time ordering Blundstone, would recommend going by EU size v US size. What I mean by going with the EU sizing is that the Blundstone size guide says US 8.5 corresponds to AU5.5 but says AU6 corresponds to EU 39. I am a medium width US 8.5 which in my experience actually corresponds to EU 39. For reference, I wear Birkenstocks 39N. I found the AU 5.5 was too short in length and I needed an AU 6 to walk around comfortably. This style in size 6 fit like a Birkenstock 39N v. 550 in size 6 which fit like Birkenstock 39M. I hope this saves someone some returns :)

I have had problems with Blundstone fit in the past - including a recent order for the 550 series and the dress series. I usually wear a 9.5 in boots (more recently needing a wide in certain brands/styles) and ordered the 6.5 in both. The 550 was a smidge too short and the dress series, though long enough, had something rough causing rubbing along the insole. I sent both of these back, then saw this woman-specific boot and ordered both the 6.5 and 7. On these, the 6.5 fits perfectly, without the extra insole with heavy socks, with the insole with lighter socks. They’re very comfortable, the toe isn’t quite as blunt as the 550 series and I love the color and the fact that the leather is smooth, not distressed leather. I’ve been looking for a pair of boots that will answer the needs for both “dress” footwear and miles of walking on vacation without having to take 2 pairs. I have a pair of Born boots that I had hoped would accomplish these goals, but they are absolutely not waterproof - my feet get wet walking through dewy grass. I tried Ariat, which are waterproof but the arch support was not there. These Blundstone win the prize - although not touted as waterproof, they are certainly better at keeping my feet dry than my beloved Borns. I highly recommend them and if you like comfort in a boot, Blundstone delivers - you might just have to try different iterations of the boot - Zappos makes that easy.

These are really cute. The higher rise and slim ankle is great with skinny jeans, leggings, and dresses. I wanted shoes to be able to wear in rough terrain, get dirty, yet still look cute and feminine. These fit the bill! I can speak to the difficulty reviewers are mentioning in getting these boots on. I actually ordered two pairs - one from here at Zappos, and one straight from Blundstone. I did this because the Zappos description has the lining made from synthetic materials, and the Blundstone website lists it with a leather lining. I'd prefer leather lining, so I ordered from Blundstone as well. Don't bother doing this - they are the same shoe - both have a leather upper and synthetic/leather lining. Exactly the same tag listing materials. HOWEVER, I did feel a big difference in how easy it was to get two different pairs on - both in same size, style, color, same everything. One pair I could barely get on my feet, it required superhuman strength, and the other was do-able. There seems to be variation in between batches. SO - if you get a pair that is impossible to get on, it might be that particular pair, and not your feet.

I normally wear an 8.5 -9 in women's shoes. My foot is narrow so I was glad to see these Blundstone shoes made for a woman's foot. Per the measuring guidelines for these, I ordered a 9. My foot was SWIMMING in it. I exchanged for the 8.0 ( no half-sizes available), and it fit perfectly right out of the box. They are comfy, supportive, warm, not to mention, I love the way they look! The color is lovely, and neutral enough to be very versatile. Love, love, love them. These will be my go-to boots for a long time.

Very cuuute style! They scuff really easy and finding a polish in this color ain't gonna be a walk in the park. Hard to pull on and off and I have a narrow foot. It is a wrestling match. I have had them maybe 8 months. Only wear in the cold months though, mostly in fall. Wish it had more arch support.

This is a very solid boot, great leather, nice color, not dressy, but a great hard-working boot - IF you can a) get your foot into it, and b) get your foot OUT again. Holy smokes. They must wear their boots all the time down under.

These boots are indestructible! Last pair lasted 10 years of constant use. They were on my feet when my car caught fire. They melted a little at the toes but they kept going for 4 more years.

I found the sizing difficult with this brand. I’m a true 6.5 or 37 and struggled deciding which size to keep in Bumdstone. I ended up keeping the 4 which was a little long in the toe box and wider than what I usually wear in a shoe. I did have to add an insert to keep my foot in place. The 3.5 was way to short and I couldn’t get the boots off myself. Overall I love the look of these boots and with the insert they fit perfect with a midweight sock. I hate thick socks!

The top of ankle section of the boot was 1 1/4" smaller in circumference than boots purchased in the past. I cannot get the new boot on my foot. I will not be able to continue to buy this boot.

I wanted to love these but they were so tough to get my foot into, and when I finally stuffed it in the boot felt too big.

I love the look of these, and I wear them daily, but they are uncomfortable because they offer so support whatsoever and are incredibly difficult to get off. Perhaps if I had the classic Blundstones they’d be roomier and easier to remove. I prefer the thinner more streamlined look of these. Currently searching for a thin enough insole to fit into these because my usual ones make these even harder to get on and off! Overall well-made, but if you’re looking for comfort, keep looking! I wish I had stuck with the zip-on Doc Martens

So disappointing. I ordered the BL1352 Shiraz colored boot in AU 6.5 from the Blundstone website. (Zappos was out of my size.) I was confident this gorgeous boot would fit, because the BL1448 is essentially the same boot in Black, and that pair fit me perfectly. (Thank you Zappos.) Long story short... Once the Shiraz boots were *on*, they fit my feet beautifully. Unfortunately the on/off process was BRUTAL, so back they went. FYI, my feet are B width, low volume and flat. I kept the 1448/Black pair, which don and doff with ease...Check out the ankle/opening difference in the pics. (BTW, the “right foot” Shiraz boot was actually easier to remove than the “left foot” Shiraz boot; it literally took 15 minutes to remove the left boot alone. Scary!)

Comfortable fit, I've tried other women's Blundstone styles and these are much wider & roomy for thick socks and long walks. I stretched out the ankle elastic by stuffing them overnight for a few nights and that did the trick to make them easier to take on/off. Great color!

Wonderful to walk in with plenty room in the toe box and comfort for all day walking. I wear a 71/2 and ordered a 5 and it fit perfectly. Love it and may order it in a different color.

Just tried on four different pairs of Blundstones at LLBEAN. The only pair that fit my foot well where the Chelsea's in the dark green suede. The black, leather and brown leather felt way too wide and my foot moved around quite a bit. Not so with the Chelsea boot. I have narrow heels and an average forefoot. I was reassured by a couple of employees that they get much easier to take off and on. I really like the way they look and feel!

I got the gray ones. They are great. Good arch-support and accurate shoe size. Getting off is a bit difficult but for a decent able support, it is worth it.

Love these - I have Morton's neuromas in both feet so they can't tolerate any constriction, width-wise, and these are perfect. I wish more shoe companies would use their half-sizes to step up the widths the way Blundstone does. The sole is comfortable for walking, the color is gorgeous. I really like the heel shape and the tailoring of the ankle, which is a little more 'refined' than a standard blundstone. The standard style Blundstone was also comfy but the fit (in the same size) was a little sloppy and the ankle was a bit too wide for my taste.

It took a minute to break these in, but once I did, they’ve been awesome. I usually wear a 7.5 and I think I could’ve gone half a size up to wear with thicker socks. The boots are heavy and sturdy but seem well-made and I expect them to last me awhile.
