My husband was the one who turned me on to Blundstones, and this Shiraz boot is my second purchase. One of the reviews mentioned how the boot opening was small and the side elastic not stretchy enough, but the boots require a bit of breaking in – I initially thought the same thing, like, "My foot isn't going to fit in there!" In comparison, my older pair of black Blundstones are much easier to slip on and off, but I know that these new boots will relax more with wear as well. I wear a women's size 7.5, and the sizing chart worked out for me perfectly.

I tried to resist the Blundstone craze - but they are so comfortable I was sold the moment I put them on. I have very high arches so I removed to factory insole and put in my own and they are absolutely perfect. I love how much grip the soles have too. I am sure I will wear these most days fall through spring.

I am obsessed with these boots! I normally wear an 8 1/2 and I ordered an 8 (AU 5) and they fit perfect. LOVE the color and they are extremely comfortable right out of the box. They are by far one of my favorite pairs of boots I've ever owned.

I really like this boot but I returned them because my stiff orthotics did not fit in them. I couldn't even get them in the neck of the boot which is quite narrow. I'll look for a wide version even though my feet are small and on the narrow side just because I need my orthotics to fit! My orthotics fit in the unisex boots which I've had for years so I'll likely just go back to those.

I picked these because the ankles are snug and don't rattle around like the Chelsea boot - but as others have said that makes them a CHALLENGE to get on and off. But I am super-happy with them once they are on. I assume they will get a little easier to don/doff as they break in, but even if they don't I'm still happy with them.

I absolutely LOVE these boots....except for one thing, they are very difficult to get off and takes quite a tug to get on. The overall comfort of the boot does overshadow those things for me but they are difficult to get on and off. They fit like a glove, as if they were made just for me. I wore in Normandy France sightseeing, rainy weather and they performed great. No wet feet and looked stylish as well.

I tried three different pairs of Blundstones before settling on these. I went by the sizing chart on their website and ended up with a 6AU in the unisex round toe and this women’s round toe and tried the 5AU in the chisel toe since those tend to run longer. All three were too big for my feet, which are about an average size 8. My left foot is 245cm and right about 240cm so pretty significant difference. According to their size charts I am a 6 with these measurements. I returned them all for the 5AU in this women’s style and I love them. The Shiraz color is really pretty and versatile and the fit is good with plenty of room for my right foot toes and my left are not touching the toe so I’d say a good fit there. Only thing is that they are rubbing on my heels a bit. I expect this will subside once they are molded to the shape of my feet. Great everyday boot. Cute with jeans and dresses!

After 20 years with my pair of Blundstones, it was time for new ones. These are SUCH a wonderful difference (support, cushion) but I had some challenges with sizes. Normally, I wear a US Women's 9.5 in nearly everything (Frye boots, running shoes, Vans) and a European 40 in Dansko. I ordered the women's 9.5 (Australian 6.5) and the fit just wasn't quite there. I exchanged for a half size up and added a footbed from my running shoes and had the right fit. Still, the shape and height was a little odd for me. I found that the higher ankle felt irritating while driving and I prefer a little more give. Ultimate verdict: good boots, nice color (shiraz) and great feeling, but stubby in the sizing as described by the manufacturer. Love that Zappos has such a generous return policy so I could do a side-by-side comparison and get the right fit.

Unfortunately this boot did not work for me. My daughter wears them all the time and swears by them. There was not enough give to accommodate a bunion. I think they would work great if you do not have any bumps. The leather is really strong.

These boots stretch out a lot after a few days of wearing them. They are good for wide foot because the leather gives a lot. The sole is flexible which could be good or bad depending on your needs. I honestly don’t fin them that comfortable because there’s no arch support and my foot has a lot of movement in the boot, but they are more for style.
