When I saw these boots I knew I had to have them. I normally love a Tim. I've worn their work boots for years. My first mistake was that I forgot that I typically wear men's shoes. Women's shoes rarely have my size available. But I saw these, and I fell in love! The larger sizes aren't available ANYWHERE, so I thought "I'm normally a 10.5, I'll just stretch them. No big deal." Wishful thinking and all that. Well, I finally got them today. Looking at them, they looked more like a 9, though the tag on the tongue says 10. I crammed my feet into them with great effort, my tightest compression socks, and much swearing. I got them on. Upon lacing them up, they would barely lace. My calves felt like sausages. I am a big woman, sturdily built. 5'10" and 180 lbs. I do manual labor for a living, and my calves are muscular. I'm working class, I don't have a lot of money. These were to be a birthday present to myself. I just wanted to feel pretty and powerful. Instead I just feel like the sasquatch that I am. It is my fault. The boots are obviously well made, the quality is excellent. I had optimism and bad vision on this one. I forgot that boot makers don't keep women like me in mind when designing boots. I forgot that there are never enough big sizes and that I should buy them as soon as I see them, instead of waiting for when I have the money. I rambled, so here is the short and sweet for those looking for the problem: -Not enough large sizes available -Size runs small -Tight in the toes and calf Once I'm done feeling sorry for myself, I'll try to see if I can get a return. I don't think any amount of stretching or ice bag tricks will fix this. I would have really loved these boots. I would have really loved if my size was available. I would buy them second hand if I could find them. Make more size 11 in the future, please.

This boot is comfortable and water proof as said but i have noticed how easy it is to stain and the front of the boot wears down really easy as I work heavy on my boots and the front rubber splitting this early kinda sucks and I didn't really expect that at the price but I stick enjoy the boot for comfort and light weight and decent grip

I prefer the old version. The new version of this boot looks cheap. I do not like the trim and sole.

Better material was used years ago. Michael Jordan shoes are in the same space. Save money with cheaper material and products look the same but not as durable.

I generally buy the boots vrs the hiker, but these looked nice so I bought them. Unfortunately they were a little narrow and tight around the toe. I returned them by mail and 3 wks later still waiting for my refund. Hopefully that happens before years end and I'll probably repurchase the boot at a half size larger.

So I love timberland boots amd products in general. However I bought a pair of these and they were my go to boots especially for long days in my feet ni matter the weather. Had them for a long time as I have other timberland boots and never had any issues I did not cause, mostly staining and scuffing. All of a sudden a few months ago I went to put them on and the back heel seemed to have blown out almost seeming to disintegrate over night. Asked a cousin and he said the same thing happen to him with the same boot. Never happen with the hundreds of timberland boots I have probably owned. Is this normal?

I chose my size based on the measurement guide. My foot measures 25 cm and I'm a size 8. That's no surprise. The problem is that the boots are smaller and narrower. The materials are also hard and literally hurt your foot. I don't recommend them. I gave it two stars because the color is pretty. That's the only thing I appreciate about it.

Extremely dissapointed because needed my boots for outfit for this thanksgiving to match with my wife and son for his first thanksgiving. The color came " nothing " like picture for nubuck field boot. I own many field boots pairs and this boot came like a dark color almost Grey. Not Gold and like the nubuck color in picture. It wasn't that they sent wrong boot either like grey pair.

The soles will disintegrate in 2 years. This has been a defect for decades and they have never addressed it! Ive had at least 5 pairs of the field boot over the years

I have owned many Timberland boots and shoes. However, I would like to know the country of manufacture BEFORE I buy another.

I received these as a gift about a year and a half ago. I've worn them about 4 times and kept them in my closet, in the original box with the paper around them. Today, on the fifth wear, my sole came apart from the base of the shoe. The heel began tearing first and got holes. Then while walking, I noticed that they were coming unglued in the front as well. Timberland will not honor my request to return these for a refund or credit because they are over a year past the purchase date regardless of it being their authentic product with a receipt. This policy should be changed to a lifetime warranty, unless Timberland KNOWS they are selling a defective product. Nike boots > Timberlands.

I purchased the men's waterproof field boot some time ago to add to my collection. At first, I loved these boots. They were rugged and fit nicely. Love soon turned to hate when I put them on a few days ago only to notice that the sole and heal were soft, sticky and appeared to be liquefying. Of course, I only only noticed the serious breakdown of this boot after putting them on, taking a few steps and getting black goo on my tan carpet. I was shocked and dismayed by this. You guys have been making boots for a long time. The last thing I expected was for this product to breakdown like this.

I've had these boots for almost 20 years and the only boots I get complemented on constantly. Since my old ones have taken a beaten I was gonna buy a new pair but I can't be untying and tying these boots. The zipper was the big seller. I'm so disappointed

I was so disappointed that my foot couldn't get in towards the bottom on the instep. I cried. I was told that I wasn't the only one with that problem.

I'm giving this 0 stars now cause this is the 3rd time I'm writing this review. Apparently you cant mention pricing, which is nonsense and sounds more like Timberland trying to stop me from posting THIS: These are the worst, least durable boots Ive ever owned. Took these to an NFL game & they fell apart as I was on my way to the stadium on a rainy day. The rubber was peeling off all over; while walking, while at my seat (pics included)I thought I was going to be walking in my socks eventually on the wet ground. Ive bought cheaper boots off a competitor site I cant name or else this review wont get published (I think you can guess) that hold up better than these! I was so infuriated, couldnt even walk around the stadium for fear my boots would fall apart more and I'd be barefoot by the time I got home. Never in my life has this happened to me with another pair of shoes. When I got home I took more pics. They speak for themself.

The fit was ok after a break in period. Unfortiunately, in just about 2 years tine of intermittent use of the boot, the side separated at the sole. What's more is that I don't know why the clain of waterproff --b nbot for long anyway. My feet got wet just from a walk through pasture grass with morning dew. Too bad.
