Seemed a bit wide… but great for thicker sock. Very comfortable! The more you wear them the better they get. Doc Martens are always groovy.

These are extremely comfortable. I have a narrow foot, so they fit slightly wide, but I can wear these boots all day without any problem. They look a little wide, too, for my narrow foot, but they still look great. Would highly recommend!

They fit good although they are hard to put it on. other than that they are great

I’ve been waiting for an 8 because i typical wear a true 8.5 and thought with thicker socks, the 9 would be best. i got the 9 and they were definitely too big. i got the 8 and i LOVE THEM. i will most definitely be purchasing the brown when they become available and have already put myself on the email list.

I love my new boots! I normally wear a 7.5 shoe, so I originally ordered an 8. It was way too big, so I exchanged for the 7 and it fit perfectly. I love the color and durability, and they required a lot less breaking in than I expected. They are perfect with some warm, slightly thicker socks but are also okay with thinner socks, too.

I’ve owned a bunch of docs and these guys didn’t require even half of the break-in time! super cute and ready to wear out of the box. I’m an 8-8 1/2 with a wider foot and was worried about fit but the 8s are perfect. I will echo what others have said about the difficulty in getting them on/off but it’s honestly not that bad and I’m sure as they get worn it it’ll become easier!

always buy half a size down so it can fit properly, LOVE THEM

So happy with these boots. They do not squish my toes like so many other chelsea boots I've tried.

This review is for the gaucho crazy horse leather. These do run large. I typically wear a 7.5 to 8, and have a medium to slightly narrow width foot without a high arch/rise and returned the 8 for a 7. I wear an 8 in the 1460 8-hole traditional boots. I also fit well in a size 8 Chelsea style with fur lining. However, the size 8 in this standard Chelsea style fit with thick socks but was quite roomy, although it would have been okay because of how snug the ankle fits. They also weren’t tough to get on, but I did realize they really were too big. I reordered these in a 7 and discovered they fit better. I still have some room in the toe box although I probably won’t wear thick socks until they break in more. When I first tried on the 7 there was some serious exertion and a bit of cursing to get them on and off through the the narrow opening, but once on I could tell they fit properly, so perseverance was key. I’ve worn them three times for fairy limited durations (1+ hours) and they are stretching out enough that I can get them on with a thin/medium thick sock without a shoe horn, and can get them off without too much trouble. I can tell they’ll be great after a few more wears. The color is a bit darker and richer than I expected. They definitely scuff/scratch easily and show creases quickly-it is the nature of this particular leather. I bought DM wonder balsam protector which helps mute some of those effects. I am very happy with them, can tell they will wear in nicely and last a long time.

They were easy to get on right out of the box and comfortable from the first step. I like the look--true Dr. Marten's--and the support. Easy to walk safely on slippery pavement. Hope they will work on ice, too.

These boots are ridiculously soft and comfortable to walk in. I have a narrow foot and tiny ankle and they fit perfectly, no flopping around.

Love!! The only downfall is they kinda run around the top part of the ankle. Maybe they just need broken in. They also crease really easily wherever they bend like when you walk or put them on

Love these boots! Love the softer look of the leather and the fit is good. I almost ordered the size up, I usually wear a 7 1/2 so I thought the 8’s would be ok with warm socks and stuff. The reviews said they ran big, ordered a smaller size and I’ll still be able to layer socks in colder weather. Bought them for work boots, but plan on wearing them out for an edgy look! Haven’t broken them in yet.

Perfection, especially after I put memory foam gel pads in the boot. I think it was a little roomy, being a men’s shoe. I’m also glad the opening is so narrow. I love them. I feel so badass wearing them.

Excellent quality and great everyday work boot, but my foot is too narrow for the brand.

The best doc martens I have ever own! They go with all of my outfits and I get lots of compliments. These boots are very well made.

Docs never fail me. Sizing is consistent with their other styles.
