These are nice boots. I've had them about a week. I generally wear an 8 or 8.5 and originally ordered a 42 but they were too large and I exchanged them for a 41 (I have several other Ecco shoes that size, so I should have known). The 41s fit well but are still plenty roomy. The Ecco insole was OK but I replaced them with my favorite ProFoot insoles, which I like even better. The material is a soft brushed leather. It is a little on the casual side and in my experience with another pair of Eccos in the same material, may be hard to keep clean and prone to stains. Time will tell. I like the overall style of the boot quite a bit. Generally happy with the purchase.

good shoes, but size is a half size too small. have several other ecco brand shoes in 45 and this shoe 45 is smaller by half an inch or so. the next size up - a 46 = is not currently in stock so i have to return these.

Like these shoes. Hope to get them in black, too.

It's a beautiful shoe and definitely totally waterproof, but my feet felt cold in it even with medium weight wool socks on, not sure if this is the sweat factor from the Gortex lining, which though it breathes, doesn't seem to allow as much air circulation as a plain leather shoe. I think I'll try to find water resistant leather that might breath more, instead of waterproof leather. The shoes is dressy enough for work and if I worked in a warm office I'd probably have kept them. The sole is not as cushioned as I would like for walking any distance, but there was room to add some cushioning inserts that helped some. My foot is almost a USA size 10 and the European size 43 fit well in this shoe.

Narrow. Good style. Disappointed it didn't fit.

I had previously purchased the same shoe in brown. I ordered the black about 1 year later. This is a beautiful shoe, very soft leather but the width is not a true 46. The brown fit perfect but the black is tight. I am not sure if that is not by design because the leather is soft and will stretch. I hope so! The length is a true 46.

I really wanted to love these shoes, they look great. My issue was mainly with the area right before the toes, the in-sole seemed to drop off causing the front part of your foot to rub in a strange and painful way when walking.. Almost like you were always walking down a steep hill. You can literally feel the dip if you rub your fingers near where your toes and middle of your foot would rest. I usually love Ecco shoes too, these disappointed me though as everything else about them was great, but if you can't walk comfortably then they are no good at all!

The shoe is good; I like ECCO shows. But I found this particular shoe to be somewhat stiffer than previous ones I purchased before.

Right shoe was stitched a little differently on the sole which affected placement of the foot when walking. Right shoe had a tighter fit due to the flaw.

Shoe runs very narrow and had a difficult time taking the shoe off. I have always worn a medium (D). Just ordered the next size up.

I was surprised at how narrow these shoes were. I'm a 12 but I usually take a 13 because I have a bit of a wide foot and pretty much any 13 slides right on but these shoes are listed as as 47 (13-13 1/2) and I could not even get them on, so I suspect they are either sized incorrectly or run very, very small.

I ordered these shoes in BLACK. The box said BLACK. The shoes were BROWN. It would have been nice if Zappos had checked the item before they sent it. We are extremely disappointed as we wanted the shoes for a trip. We were unable to get them in time. This was extremely inconvenient!!!
