I wore these expensive shoes maybe ten times and the sole began separating from the upper. I am easy on shoes. They usually last years. Disappointed, because I really liked the shoe.

Perfect light boot if you have to do a lot of city walking in the snow and rain. They go a great job of keeping my feet dry, are super comfortable, and are still in great shape after logging countless miles.

I bought these shoes from another vendor because of a gift card (if I remember right) and wore them every other day for 3 years without issue. The break in was a little rough at first but I softened the leather with an overnight coat of mink oil and overnight they were magically transformed into the perfect shoe. Sole wear is excellent, so much so that the sole still looks new. The uppers are holding their own, I rarely treat the leather with a protectant (a light coat of mink oil). I have put miles on these shoes and as for fit and comfort I think they are awesome. At the 3 year mark, the right sole split at the flex point and I had to do an emergency repair of it with some SUGRU, but they continue to wear super comfortably with no issues. I came to Zappos to buy another pair.

Good looking boots, a bit more casual looking than similar boots in the price ramge, tho that's what I wanted. They are comfortable though a tad larger than my other Ecco 44s. Couple that with fact the laces are higher up produces some slide. Ok with thicker socks. My biggest complaint is the outsole has started separating from the shoe after only a year, and I only wear them during the Fall and Winter. I expect more for the price and from Ecco.

Got these boots for my husband to travel thru Ireland! Comfy and water resistant...Did the job perfectly!

Compared to other Ecco shoes I have bought these are a bit smaller but are actual truer to size like most of my other brands. They felt comfortable immediately and look great! I was able to wear them for 6 hours on the first day. That is unusual for me. I normally have to break new shoes in 1-2 hr stretches. In short, I love them...

Fit really well, very comfortable. I’ve found that Ecco shoes tend to be a bit narrow on their D (standard) width, but generally they are very comfortable. Style is excellent.

I’m very picky about comfort and fit and these do not disappoint. Beautiful brushed leather, super padded tongue and nice padding around the top of the ankle.

These are the most durable, comfortable chukkas. I love them. I have had them for over a year, they still look and feel great.

These have become my goto shoes over the past month that I've owned them. The soft leather is extremely comfortable and requires no breaking in. Regarding sizing, I've worn many pairs of ECCO shoes over the past decade or more, and ALL of them have been 45. However, the 45 in this shoe was too small, and I had to return it for a 46, which fits exactly like all my other ECCO 45 shoes.

Bought these for my son and had to return and get the next size bigger -but he can be between sizes so no big deal with Zappos free shipping and returns! He loves them-softer leather than I had hoped with being goretex. He has worn them in Chicago rain and kept dry-we will see how they hold up in the snow! We are very happy with these -he wanted boots he could walk from train downtown and wear all day with business dress pants!

I purchased this boot for fall and winter use, particularly when travelling on a trip to Europe. The boots look reasonably fashionable, yet they are comfortable for all day wear, even when walking 10 miles through the city. They keep my feet dry in snow and light rain, although they aren't insulated so don't think about trekking outside a city for any long walks. Size wise I tried my usual 43 size (I'm normally a 9.5 - 10 US), plus one size up; the 43 didn't come close to being comfortable and the 44 fit perfectly.

I love Ecco shoes, and I have Ecco boots and Ecco dress shoes for work. I was seeking a chucka bootie,a and researched Ecco again. After reading reviews for this shoe, I bought the gore-tex chukka tie. As others have said, it is very comfortable. I can remove the insole and use my orthotics, too. I have not yet tested the shoe in wet conditions, so I cannot comment on the gore-tex protection as of yet. I think the shoe looks good, and goes well with jeans. This will be an excellent walking around the city shoe in many outdoor conditions, and will be totally fine for restaurants and the alike. I am size 10 and I got a 44 cos I knew I wanted to use my orthotics in the shoe. I also tried a 43, which is the size I use for my Ecco dress shoes, but that was not large enough for me and my orthotics. I am glad I got these.

About as expected for a shoe of this price. Really nice leather, perhaps a bit tight around the heel area but they loosened up a bit. Pretty comfortable.

Zappos recommended size worked for me although i normally wear a us 12 1/2 recommended 47 fits great. Nice looking with my jeans. Comfortable although I would not hike in them. Light weight. Have not tested waterproofing beyond some dew.

They fit like a glove right out of the box. The toe area seems a little tight for a boot, but that's better than loose. I don't have to wear thick socks to keep my feet from sliding around. Good fit. Good looking shoes. Can't wait to try them in the rain.

Excellent shoes made with top quality soft leather and perfect stiching. Ecco's are a true work of art and ordering and delivery from Zappo's was the best experience ever. Reminded me of the old Amazon Prime from 10 years ago!! Amazon, are you listening??

Very comfortable & looks great. I’m an 8.5 & the 8-8.5 fits fine. Waterproof so I can wear throughout the winter. Highly recommend.

Originally ordered a 43 because the size chart recommended it, but sent them back for a 42 (the usual size I wear). Comfortable out of the box.

Great looking and practical boot. I picked these up for a winter trip to Europe; lots of walking around cities and they should be perfect for rain, snow and cool temperatures. I wouldn't take these into the field, but for a good looking boot, they are very serviceable. Ecco's are always comfortable for me, although I found these ran 1 size smaller than my usual Ecco size. I am a 9.5-10, but had to size up to a 44 (I ordered both 43 and 44, and there was zero chance the 43 could work).

I am a huge ECCO fan. Found ECCO shoes 12 years ago and have enjoyed dress and casual shoes from them, always in a 44M. This shoe, however, I had to return the 44 and go with a 45. I bought it for a vacation where I expect a lot of walking. So far it is as comfortable as my other ECCO's, which I enjoy just about daily. I just can't go wrong with this brand it seams. Zappo's was very helpful when my first order of size 44 didn't fit. My only reservation about online shoe shopping just went away completely with the excellent service, lightning-fast shipping and more generous than everyone else return policy. Another successful experience with this store and with ECCO's.

Super comfortable right out of the box. This pair of boots is going to be my go to shoe for the cooler months. I have had many pair of Ecco shoes and I can tell that these will give me many years of good wear.

I had owned Ecco shoes in the past, specifically a few from the Track series, so I new how comfortable Ecco shoes could be. These certainly did not disappoint, plus they look great. The leather is great, and Gortex for the total win!
