This jacket is probably the comfiest, softest, and warmest light jacket ever. It needs more sizes though. I am 5'7" and the S is too large.

My first NF and love it. Everything I expected except only two pockets. An inside pocket would have made this jacket 5 star.

Its nice and warm enough for the colder days. It's not to heavy or bulky like a normal coat. Only con is it's little too wide/roomy around the body and the sleeves are a little long. If it was slim fit it would be better. Still keeping since the pros outweigh the consa

Grest jacket for everyday use. Only complain is that when you fold the collar, the fur lining shows up only on one side. Also the collar kind of stands up. Its a warm and comfortable jacket. Gray and black color is ideal for both formal and casual setting.

I upgraded from the old version of the Chromium and there are still a few things they could do better. There needs to be another pocket! Either inside the jacket or in the chest. Nowadays everyone has a phone and only having two hand pockets isn't enough. Also, those hand pockets let in cold air because of the venting on the pockets is mesh and goes right through. This would be a much warmer jacket if the fuzzy lining covered the entire inside. Jacket is very wind proof but will soak up a good rain if you are out for more than just a few minutes. If this made this waterproof it would be even better. I still recommend this as a nice warm Fall jacket. Would hold up for Winter use with just a few changes.

Great product. I bought a size large just to ensure a heavy sweatshirt can be wore under the jacket for added warmth.

Overall I really like the jacket. I bought it to replace a Mountain Hardware jacket that had become too big. The sizing chart needs some work. The cuff design could use a rework, the way the cuffs "sit" with the rubber isn't the best. Also, the jacket could use a chest pocket whether inside or outside.

I wish this jacket had the pockets on the inside like the previous North Face jacket that I purchased. Those pockets were a great place to tuck my wallet.

This is a go-to jacket that can be worn most of the year, but for temps below around 35 you'd need something a little warmer. The Apex Chromium Thermal has great wind protection and decent rain protection similar to the Apex Bionic 2 and Apex Risor but it has the warmer lining and the velcro adjustable wrist tabs which is nice. The one thing it lacks that the others have is either an interior or exterior chest pocket for your sunglasses. This is a must-have for me.

I love my jacket! By far the warmest single layer jacket you can get. I love that it feels heavy and has the fuzzy interior but even though it's pictured above, it's missing in my jacket around the neck/collar. I'm 245 pounds and 5'11 and this jacket is big on me. Sleeves are a little long and a little baggy but I love it this way for this jacket because I can literally do any kind of reach and it not hike up. I really wish it had the fuzzy in the collar...

The biggest issue for me and North Face must be that I am a "tweener". Large is too small and the XL is just a little too big, but it works. Typical use for me is over a sweatshirt walking for about 4 to 4.5 miles. Wore it down into the teens in Connecticut and it was fine. Nice jacket. So North Face if you are reading this next year take the Apex Bionic and put a fleece lining in it. Probably would be the perfect jacket for me.

I really loved this jacket but had to return it because it's about 2" too short. This jacket was is so awesome. It's really warm and comfortable. The sherpa style fleece lining slides on easily over any type of base layer and gives it a really nice toasty heft. And the outer facing seems way more windproof than my last everyday jacket. The problem is that the hem is too short, so it's not as warm as it should be, just doesn't look quite right for me, and your untucked base layer will definitely peek out below the hem. If TNF would tweak it with a lower hem like many of the other North Face jackets I'v owned, I'd buy two of them immediately.

A very nice jacket. but the jacket inner lining was suppose to be high pile fleece and it is not. I had to checked and see if maybe they sent me the wrong jacket. It is a very nice jacket just not what I was hoping for or lead to believe by the products description. I think they should really change the product description to explain the interior of the jacket.
