This is a great shoe. It has nice arch support but not too. It also has a good amount of cushion. The fact that it comes in wide, is a huge positive for me. I have chronic, undiagnosed pain in both feet and these shoes are the first that I can wear for long periods of time. Congratulations New Balance! Great product!

I have always had a chronic problem with rolling/spraining my ankles to the point where I was told I needed ligament reconstruction surgery on both ankles. I had one performed and then when I was getting back into running went to a running store and had these fitted. That was in 2012 and I have never worn another running sneaker since. I had run somewhere around 6 half marathons and 1 full marathon since then and have not had any ankle rolls/sprains since. These sneakers have completely changed my life with running and offer me the perfect support. I buy a new model annually. I usually wear a size 9 in other shoes/sneakers but I need to size up to a 9.5 with these or they are too small in the toe box. Highly recommended.

very wide toe box as many of the other reviewers have said. too loose in the heel for me, many of the shoes are, though. Just not the right fit for my foot. Saucony fits me tighter in the heels. Asics has more cushion...if you are looking for that.

Great fitting shoes! Great stability shoe. I've had both knees replaced and have arthritis is my back. These shoes were comfortable and could wear for extended periods right out of the box. Have a roomy toebox (but doesn't look wide)and were very comfortable even after I added my orthotics. Very cool color too!

As a career runner, I've been wearing a variety of versions of New Balance for years. This particular pair is the best I have owned, so much so that I ordered a second pair shortly after I received and ran in the first pair! You will not be disappointed.

This isn't the first pair of 1260's that I've brought and probably won't be the last. I have extremely flat feet, no archive what size ever and this sneakers is just perfect for my foot. My only complaint/concern would be a little padding in the sneakers

These are the best shoes ive put on my feet in a long,long time. Felt like I was putting on my favorite slippers, they fit like a glove on my feet. They run TTS, I wear an 8W and that is what I purchased. You can feel some medial support that runs the entire length of the shoe but its not so rigid that you feel like you're walking on the edge of a board. I have plantar fasciitis and a hypermobile big toe joint and these shoes have been a life saver. I will probably order a couple of extra pair to have for when these wear out.

great shoe. accommodates custom orthotics. could be narrower in heel. needs longer shoe laces if you are using the 2nd set of loops around the ankle.

Since I have plantar fasciitis I keep looking for the perfect shoe. This was recommended on a internet site. I always wear an 8 W in New Balance, however these seem to run large. I exchanged it for a 7.5 W and they fit perfectly. Seem to be very comfortable for my issue and I try to wear them everyday. Love Zappos for the quick exchange.

Great job New Balance. Most comfortable athletic shoe. Great arch support for my flat feet. Wide width which I need. And plenty of room so it doesn't crunch my toes.

Really like this shoe. I have a wide toe area and a narrow heel and do lots of gym work requiring lateral motion. I love New Balance which also usually has the the wide, wide toe box but my foot slips a bit. This is a tad narrower in the toe box but just fits my size 12 weird shaped foot. Comfort goes without saying for New Balance and this was true for this shoe, too. Good padding, better than most of the other brands (have tried many) of gym type shoes I have tried. Good arch support. Just fits really well for me. I think the style is a more understated but still cute and modern style. If these shoes were not so expensive, I would be back now for a second pair (but since I just ordered a second pair of Allegria Jemma's which also fit my weird foot beautifully, I'll have to wait. IF money were no object, I would order three pairs of this New Balance shoe and wear them every day!!!

Fit great! The Toe box is nice amount of space

I bought my first pair of these 3 years ago when I was having arch problems and have continued to purchase them. I pronate and these really give me good support. The most recent pair have brought me several compliments on the style. They give pretty good arch support but I generally take theirs out and put a Spenco arch in for even more support. If anything, the most recent update is even more comfortable.

I called New Balance to find out what shoes they recommended for my specific problems. Bad back, tendency toward plantar fasciitis, and a bad knee. The first couple of hours I felt a bit awkward in them. However, after wearing them all day my entire body feels better. Previously I was wearing NB Vazee Prism and they were good but these are even better. I'll be ordering another pair!

Oh my goodness I love these shoes. I have not been buying cute shoes because I assume I can not wear them with my W feet that have so many problems. I wore these playing tennis today for the first time and I just love them. They are so comfortable yet light and snappy too!

Of all the runningshoes I've seen made for overpronators, this is one of the most built-up on the medial heel. I have really flat feet, so this would have been great! But ho' I take a 7.5 narrow in N.B.'s style 940v2, this 1260v6 is a half size too long.

I plan to write a follow up review after I get these from zappos. I ordered from new balance website hot off the press. Initial response: typically I wear a 7 REGULAR in NB. For reference I wear 71/2 WIDE in Asics gel nimbus. Initially got 71/2 W in this NB based on NB customer service. I'm returning them. A 7 W will be perfect. My toes are short and I'm between a reg and wide. Seven wide for these for me. QUALITY MATERIALS! Not a lot of arch support but I can feel the support for pronation and will add my moderate orthotic. Plenty of room. Very nice looking shoe. I'm hopeful for its performance. Seems worth the money

Had to return because too narrow in width. I now have the wide width and they are a wonderful fit.

I only tried on these shoes for a short time in the house. WOW. They had a wide toe box which is sometimes hard to find. I have wide feet, wear custom orthodics and over-pronate. I ordered this shoe in a wide width. My orthodics fit into these shoes easily and this shoe was incredibly comfortable. I need to walk around the house with these on for a bit more time to determine if the over-pronation support works well or strains me, but for a first glance review I'm super impressed. If the over-pronation support works well without strain, these may unseat my go-to shoes which are Brooks GTS 17.

I loved the color of these. They just didn't feel quite as wide as other NB shoes. I'm returning to find another model that works.

Love the shoe fit except for the loose heel due to custom orthotics. Otherwise would be a keeper.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I actually just tried to order second pair because by the time I order another pair New Balance won't make them anymore!! It's so frustrating that they do this!! This is the first pair of New Balance that I actually think look really stylish..great color...very comfortable. Finally!! Please Zappos, order more of this shoe, I'll buy more.

I just ordered my second pair of these shoes. Love the fit and the stability they provide. I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and accommodate my orthotics.

I have flat feet and these work great for every day wear, walks, and working out.
