These are my favorite winter boots to grab and go out in the cold or snow in. They are the perfect height for tucking in pants or to wear them with a dress. I love the sand color, it goes with everything. They really are Classic and never go out of style!

Loved the warmth in the winter but hated staining from wind and snow

Thirteen years ago I was getting ready to move to Vermont. I needed boots for a lot of snow. I went to Marshall Field's in Chicago. The salesman showed me the Uggs, the same pair I just bought,and I knew they were perfect. They felt so good on. Those Uggs have lasted me for every winter until now and they have gone through a lot of wear. Even though normally I would never pay as much as I paid for my new Uggs for a pair of boots, I felt that they were worth it. They are just as. beautiful as my first pair and just as cozy. I hope the soles will be good on the ice and not make me slip as I do not want to fall. I will love wearing my new boots. Thank you!

I live in Minnesota, and I was kind of surprised to read the company statement that these aren't recommended for wear in heavy snow. They have held up to the weather conditions in both rule and urban areas in Minnesota, where I wear them, extremely well. There was really only one time my feet got wet and that's when I literally had to wade through ankle high water from melted snow that flooded the path I was walking on. But in any type of normal winter conditions, even extreme arctic conditions like we have here, with deep snow, they are great! I never feel cold in UGG tall boots. If I go somewhere and have to keep my boots on all day, my feet don't feel too hot, either. The boots breathe well, and regulate temperature well. It is no exaggeration at all to say I feel like I am walking on clouds. I have foot problems, and my feet feel much better in these boots. It is like a soothing bath, in terms of how good it makes my feet feel. My first pair was light pink, and I spent hours washing stains out from dirty snow, the car floor, etc, in the heel and toe areas, especially. That's why I decided to get a black pair the next time. BIG mistake. Those are covered in salt stains I have not been able to get out. That's why I'm on this website now, debating between gray, chocolate, and tan. Or maybe I will go with a short boot in a rose or other medium shade (to avoid staining in light shades or salt stains in dark shades). After wearing them I will post another review to let you know how that strategy worked in Minnesota! I also plan on buying my mother a pair for Christmas. She has to do a lot of shoveling, so a tall pair should be perfect.

Have owned multiple pairs. Currently have black and chestnut. LOVE SO comfy. Normally I wear 7.5, in Uggs I wear 7. I have been caught in snow and rain in these and they did not get ruined...feet got slightly damp.

Snow doesn't soak through, very comfortable, and easy to get on with my swollen pregnant feet!

I love these would buy over and over. Live in mountains with lots of snow and these are the only boots i have ever owned that keep my feet warm

Having a Snow Dog means long walks in the cold, snow, sleet or rain. These Boots never fail to keep my feet and legs warm. Uggs are a staple for long walks in a blizzard.

Wear every day, no socks...love them!

I bought these boots after buying a similar pair for my toddler in-store. I am absolutely in love! These boots are super comfy, warm, and grippy enough to keep me from slipping around in the ice and snow. The boots arrived well-packaged and you could tell that, for once, there was care during shipping. I was somewhat hesitant about the price, but they are worth every penny and I would purchase another pair for myself and my child in a heartbeat. Very pleased

Make sure you get a size down if you plan on wearing them without socks. I'm a size 11 and always buy a size 10 in my classic uggs because they stretch out.

I love these boots!! Tall enough so snow does not sink in and warm enough for all kinds of cold!

Love my new UGGS. The new sole is so much better for traction in the snow....they are super warm and fit like a glove.

I have these in tan, black and brown. In the winter all I care about is being warm, and these definitely do just that. I had a pair of tan ones that lasted about 5 years (went through 5 winters and A LOT of snow). Just got a new pair and I can't wait to take them out :)

These boots have a great lining that keep my feet perfectly warm in the snow. With cleaning, they maintain a great color and quality that have lasted for years.

So incredibly comfortable! I love that they're now water resistant, so I'm not nervous about wearing them in snow or rain. I live in my UGGs during the winter!

I live in Texas, so I don't know how well these boots will stand up to snow, but there work really well when it's wet. These are warm, and cozy.
