I have purchased various colors over the years. The Classic-Black is practical and will be your "go to" boot. The color is a true black. I throw on casually with leggings, skinny denim and dresses/skirts. I'm usually an 8.5-9, the size 8 fits perfectly. You will not regret this purchase.
