The classic shoes are overall just the best, but the the short style is the perfect fit if you want something not too tall but not too small either! Definitely 10/10 recommend especially as a first pair. I would also say to go down a size because Uggs do stretch

My daughter is in love with her Uggs! She has been wearing them everyday since Christmas, the boot is very comfortable and has ample wiggle room for heavy socks!
