I purchased this as a gift for my son. I frequently purchase items from North face because of the high quality. My sons zipper broke on a jacket we purchased and North face fixed it and sent it back to us. Not many companies stand behind their products like that anymore.

I bought this for my son because he needed a warm layer to ski in. He did not even need his shell. This worked great and kept him warm and dry

I bought this jacket for my husband and he loves it! It's great to wear when the weather is really cold (can get in the negatives here!), but also works well in the fall and spring, when it's in the 40's-50's and it's windy and rainy outside. He wears it mainly for casual wear, but it could definitely be used for camping and hiking. It's waterproof and breathable, and super comfortable! I highly recommend this jacket to anyone!

I use mine almost daily from fall through to spring. It great for driving or taking my walks.
