My dad loves the soft shells because of the waterproof / wind proof feature. He drives a lot for work and likes the lightweight feeling of the soft shell and he doesn't feel constricted while driving. When he spills on it, it's a quick wipe off too (which happens a lot).

I use it every day

I use this jacket daily. It's my third from the Apex series over the past 10 years and they constantly stay true to form, with some nice adds like the earbud/audio compatible front pocket, thicker wrist Velcro straps, and seems more windproof than former versions. Great choice of style options as well. Only downside is the picture online looks nothing like it does in real life - much darker in person.

This jacket is great for the climate we live in. Works perfect in windy or wet weather. Very stylish.

Got this as a Christmas present. Great product. I've been buying/wearing North Face jackets for a little over 10 years now. I still have my first one and it works great. I love the North Face quality and the fact that these jackets last through all types of weather. I live in Michigan and this can be worn in the winter with a sweater or hoodie underneath as well as worn in the fall or early spring. Great jacket, versatile, quality product

I have worn it to work every day since I received it for Christmas. I love the way it looks and it has taken the place of my more dressy pea coat. This is great for sporting occasions, work attire, and casual wear. I have wanted this jacket for quite some time.

I love my jacket (shell + attachable outer jacket) and my mom wanted to grab something for my day. Unfortunately it was unavailable online but your rock stars at the Eastin (Columbus) store helped me order and ship to my dad.

This jacket is perfect. It is warm yet not bulky and the coat is fashionable. The size chart on the website was exact.

Very waterproof but not too warm. I used it as a layer jacket beneath my ski jacket on colder days and it was perfect. I also wear it casually in cooler weather.

My ex purchased this for me for Christmas 3 years ago. It was the first NorthFace product I had ever owned. I can't overestimate how awesome a piece of gear this is for me. I've worn it day in, day out, across the U.S. It's casual enough that I can wear it with most anything, and because it's well cut, I can pair it with moderately dressy items. It's big enough that I can layer underneath it, and use it as a shell, or use just the jacket. The *only* thing that is starting to go on it are the Velcro wrist adjustments. But, I plan on having a tailor add new Velcro so I can continue to use the jacket. Also, I've washed it at least 5-6 times, and every time, it comes out looking darn near new. The way all jackets/garments should be.

We just moved to colder weather. My husband is a lawyer and needed a classy warm heavy jacket. I've been wanting to get him a North Face for a couple years. The jacket is wonderful, and meets all his needs.

I got this jacket for my dad and ordered it online at the store. Fits great, he loves it, and it looks really good on him. Would recommend.

Son was very happy with his gift. Fit perfectly and wears often. He is not a fan of a big bulky winter coat, and is wearing this coat often.

I wear this to work daily and just when I run out for errands or anything. It is my new favorite and go-to jacket. I love the fit, feel, and look of this jacket. I may buy another color!

Love this jacket. I'm a Lake Michigan sailor and it can get pretty cold and wet in the spring. Really blocks the cold wind!
