The jacket is comfortable, a snug fit with the liner but keeps you warmer with it.

Purchased a Northface 3-1 fleece-lined from the Myrtle Beach outlet in December. I loved the jacket, although a little bulky for packing, every other feature was outstanding. When I saw the sale jacket, the color was very appealing and the price was right. Imagine my surprise when I received the new jacket and discovered that it is substantially more packing-friendly than the first jacket!

The inner lining is felt-like and sticks to a lot of clothes which is great if you're active and outdoors, but not so much when trying to get in and out of the jacket. The liner sleeves easily pull up into the outer shell. Not a deal breaker, it just takes a little time to get used to it.

I use the coat for skiing, hiking and backpacking in the Spring/Summer months.

Very Nice Puffy Jacket. Covers neck and lower chin area. Warm with the wet layer and even warmer with the extra layer they add under. The under layer is pretty just by its self. With the combo its even warmer. I'd recommend it. Its a good jacket. Don't own many other north faces to compare to but i can this is a very nice one and even better at the sale price.

I needed a jacket for a daily use in the winter time (Nov-Feb). This worked out perfectly, it keeps me warm during cold and windy days. It is dual mode and can be used as a windbreaker during rainy days, it is an all in one.

Extremely heavy-duty, durable jacket that will keep you *absurdly* warm while being stylish at the same time. Minor complaint in that it's hard to take the jacket off and keep the inner layer's arm portions inside the sleeve at the same time: I'm always finding myself having to carefully push the inner lining back into the coat sleeve. BUT it's a minor complaint for a majorly awesome jacket! The North Face has yet to disappoint me in the 15+ years that I've been an avid customer!

Overall a great jacket. Perfect for winters in Southeastern PA. So far in three snow falls there have been zero issues. Also took it skiing and it performed well. The only negative is the inner liner seems a but more snug than the coat it self should be. The material of the liner is very soft and seems to catch on long sleeves when putting it on. Once it's fixed. All is perfect.

I have bought this jacket over and over again for my employees. They love it! I have given them other options and they always come back to this one. As long as it is available, we will keep buying it.

It was a little bigger than expected, but I changed it in the local store. Now the smaller size fits perfectly.

Have always had a problem getting my mentally challenged son to wear a winter jacket because of bulkiness and i guess restriction of movement. This is different> The tri-clmate jacket is lightweight and I can zip out the lining when it gets warm or add the lining for cold, wet, weather. Finally!! A home run and no fights about a coat. Love this jacket.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. It's lightweight yet it keeps him very warm. I would definitely buy this jacket again!

I live in northern North Dakota so I knew I needed something that would keep me very warm. I got this jacket and it exceeded my expectations. It gets very windy here and the jacket truly is windproof. It keeps me very warm as well. I would recommend this to anybody.

I use it during cold days with the it gets a lil warmer I would use the base jacket. And I'm use it when I go out riding

This is first time purchasing from North Face. It was a Christmas for my Grandson. He loves it and has worn it everyday since Christmas morning. Great that he can wear the jacket 3 different ways. Will definitely buy from you again.

I love this coat. My son never wears coats. He says they are too bulky. This one definitely isn't bulky and is very warm. Hes worn it every day.

I purchased this as an outer layer for a fly fishing trip to Colorado in December. The Waterproof shell was perfect for being on the river all day. It cut the wind which kept me warm all day.
