Loved theses sneaks right out of the box, I did not need a wide size like I normally would for my feet because of the extra room in the toe box. Ankle area is a little roomy and there is no extra eyelet like most sneakers to lock that ankle in, thats my only complaint.
I took them out on some tough trails and they felt good.

These are about the best trail shoe I have owned. Very sturdy, good grip and comfortable. The 2E size fits good as does the size 11.
Only down is the length of the laces, way too long.

I like the fit and feel of the shoe. It is not too snug and is not overly cushioned for my personal tastes. I've ran in them on very hard, frozen trail and it's a little less suitable for that kind of environment. I think it would be better suited as a summer shoe where the ground is a little softer, or even sloppy/muddy. It's mildly aggressive, yet not bothersome when running on pavement for short stretches. Overall, I like the shoe and I suspect I'll like it even more as the weather turns more favorable.

These run *much* smaller than advertised. They feel at least a half size short and they don't feel like 4E in the slightest. I've bought NB many times in the past and these are much tighter than their prior equivalents.

The shoes are the bomb! The shoes are a bit wider in the 4e than originally expected. 2e didn't fit. Maybe after a few runs the 2e would have been better.

Feels a little shorter than other size 15's from NB, but not so short they don't fit. The cushioning is great in these shoes.

Love these shoes. My biggest qualm about them is that the heel cup slips pretty easily. They have really good traction and are super comfortable to run in. They do break in and become a bit more snug after a few runs. Would definitely recommend!

These trail shoes fit great and are very lightweight. The vibram soles are great on wet rocks and surfaces. The only thing is that you might consider a more comfortable insert if you consistently run 6+ miles. The inserts the shoes come kinda go flat after 3 miles.

I bought the Leadvillev3 to serve as my main trail shoe for the fall 16 race season. I ran through a pair of Boracay road shoes, and recently replaced those with Vazee v2 Breathes. While I like those shoes alright, they're a little light on stability and I pronate a bit. After runs of 5-7 miles, I was feeling a twinge of ankle pain from the roll.
I bought these and proceeded to put about 25-30 miles on them over a two week period. The shoe runs large. Noticeably larger than any other NB shoe I've ever worn. So large, in fact, that I checked and rechecked the size to ensure I'd purchased a 14D and not a 15 or a 14EE. I had to lace up as tight as possible and wear thick socks. With that, the shoes were manageable. They're a bit heavy, but well cushioned and tough. Some nice lugs on the tread for aggressive trail, but an interior that would cause concerns of soaking up water on wet trail.
I found the stability features to be a little bit too much for me, but that's a foot and stroke issue. If you have arches and pronate and need and are used to a stability shoe, this is a killer, well cushioned trail shoe. I have a flat foot, neutral mid foot stroke, with some pronation. These caused a little IT band pressure and hip discomfort. Haven't had it since I switched, or with any non-stability shoe.

quality construction, excellent soles, no chemical smells, very comfortable, "assembled" in the USA. Where the parts came from is a mystery. All NB shoes ought to be made in the USA at regular prices.

Excellent shoe used for 6.5-9.5 miles of aggressive walking on roads daily. They last ~200 miles. My only complaint is that the eyelets do not easily allow the laces to be pulled through making it hard to lace up the shoes. I'm on my second pair and will probably continue with Leadvilles until they stop making them.
They are very comfortable for walking; I can't run anymore due to back problems.

i am very impressed with this shoe, it is the perfect balance of light for training and sturdy for great support and very stylish in green and black, this shoe is also good for trail walking/running with a very nice sole, only con is that it does seem to run a little big, so depending on your experience with new balance a half size lower than your usual might be best, strongly recommend overall

This shoe runs just the right width. The color combination is the reason I picked this particular shoe, but I love the comfort in all of the high level running shoes.

I found the Leadville to be true to size for a trail shoe. I have only logged 15 miles in them over two runs. The 8mm rise in the heel is spot on and feels quite stable. The 4E width has ample space in toe box. The shoe handles well on packed dirt, gravel, and rocky terrain. I have not had them in muddy conditions yet. I really like this shoe and ordered a second pair for ultra races this year.

Pretty good shoe. But attempt to detail is important and the laces are pretty much worthless. The are too long for the shoe. But most importantly, about 60% of the time one or the other could not be untied without a struggle.

Runs about half a size larger than a normal trail shoe. Caused me a little inside knee pain due to the medial post. Wish they made this in about a 4 to 6 mm drop with no post. Very comfortable but just not optimal for my running style.

I typically wear a size 10 Narrow in NB shoes, and love the fit. However, the 10 Narrow was too long, and slipped in the heal for the Leadville v3. So, I decided to try the size 9.5 2E to allow more room for my foot. Ultimately, neither size worked and I still had slippage in my heel.

I wear a 9 extra wide. I purchase 4E, and they are killing my feet.

I ordered the 4E width New Balance Leadville v3. The fit was very odd. It wasn't wide but instead ran very deep. I also didn't like the bright colors offered. Zappos service made the return easy.

Ordered size 11 2E, same as my other NB shoes, and others. These were short, definitely not size 11. Matched them to my other size 11 shoes and they were shorter, more like a 10.5. Width was OK, the length was not, had to return them.

Very disappointed that these did not fit. They seem much larger than 10.5 2e shows from NB that I have ordered in the past.

I had high hopes for this shoe. After running for years in the 860s and their predecessors I was excited to get these. Unfortunately the first thing I noticed is that no matter how much you try, you cant get the heel to stop slipping. After having this issue I noticed that several other have commented on other forums about this. Over the next few weeks this slipping caused me to develop bursitis in my heel which has become very painful. I received them as a gift so I did not have a receipt and when I called New Balance for help they told me tough luck. Looks like I will be looking for new shoes and a new company to spend my money with.
