This was my first experience with Rykas. I'm disappointed that I had to return the 8-1/2 shoe for a 9, only to return the 9s too! I NEVER have to increase shoe size, so these RUN SMALL. The inner sole was not comfortable at all and it was shorter than it should have been because my toes went over the front edge, so I could feel it when I walked. Therefore, I decided this shoe would not be suitable for walking or Zumba class because I'm sure i would have developed blisters. It seemed well made, but the short inner sole was a deal breaker.

Flimsy; more important, the pivot spot purely decorative. Can't actually pivot or glide smoothly in the sneakers -- useless as dance sneakers. Long, long ago the RYka Influence model was fantastic. Haven't been good for a long time, but every so often I have repeated the exercise of ordering replacements hoping that the problem has been rectified. But the problem has not been corrected. So i keep on using my very old 2 pairs, which are about ready to be trashed. This newly ordered shoe is flimsy -- which it didn't use to be -- which I could live with if the shoes could be used for dance -- then it would just be a matter of replacing them when they died. If your looking for a shoe for hip hop, zumba, jazz or modern dance, these aren't they!

Unfortunately, these did not fit like my Dynamic 2.5's do.These were so narrow that I exchanged for the wide version, but after wearing them, the wide version does not feel right. I like the way these look, but they are not comfortable. I'm unhappy with this style and wish I had not worn them so I could return.

Bought these shoe because I needed a lightweight shoe for my Zumba classes. I was a little disappointed because they didn’t feel supportive enough. I will keep them as a backup pair but will go back to New Balance.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance and Hoka One are better overall.

So disappointed by the 2.5 version. Ordered exact same size (7M) as the 2.0 version I had, but the width was narrower, and the mid-foot was so wide it bulged out on the sides. And what's up with the super hard edge tongue that sticks into your feet? So uncomfortable. A really poor re-design in terms of fit and comfort, even though the black color design is stylish. Returned.

So disappointed. The jump from 8 1/2 to 9 was tremendous! Felt like a full size larger. This look is really nice, and will continue looking for an athletic shoe.

There is no WW in this shoe and the W, although wider than the original Influence, was still not wide enough, even though it was an 8 1/2. Compared with other shoes of that size I felt it was small. Also at the heel there was a dip which cause me pain walking. I have to have full support at the heel. This was not visible from the outside or I would not have ordered it.

Definitely shorter than the Ryka 8s I now own (and bought recently elsewhere). But closer to correct width than another Ryka 8 pair I bought at the same time. I love Ryka's approach to women's shoes as generally wider through the toe area, but neither pair I bought of Ryka 8s here completely matched in size nor worked for my feet. Disappointing.

I could not get a pair of these shoes to fit. In the 8 (same size as my Ryka tenacity), my toes were jamming against the tip of the shoes, and in the 8.5, my heels were slipping. They also seemed wide. Felt like this could have been a great shoe for dance aerobic workouts if only the fit were better.

This shoe is nice in that it really feels like it has great support and cushion. However it is quite a wide fit even with orthotics. Had to return for this reason.

I usually wear a 9 w in shoes. The 9W in this shoe seemed to short for my foot - my toe was squished in the front. And the wide was not wide enough. Not for me

Love the style, but... Don't know what's up with Ryka and what they consider a wide width to be anymore. I've always had good luck with wide widths from Ryka in the past. I've been searching for a new pair of Ryka's for quite a while and this will be the 5th, or, 6th style where the "wide" width looks and fits like a medium when put up against one of my older pairs. Too bad. Ryka is supposed to be my "go to" athletic shoe.

I was VERY disappointed with the quality of this shoe. CHEAP, CHEAP CHEAP is what came to mind the minute I laced them up. The tongue was the most UNCOMFORTABLE and cheap plastic I have ever seen. NOT padded at all, with total disregard for comfort. I should have taken the reviews I read about this shoe seriously. This is a non-negotiable issue for me. I could not even walk around the house with these shoes on, the tongue was cutting into my feet just from putting them on. It will like rip in no time. Frankly, this experience makes me not want to order any more shoes from Zappo's and waste my time- seems it would be better go into a store and see the quality and the fit right on the spot, as opposed to getting my hopes up and wasting time waiting for the delivery, only to have to return the shoes and start all over again. Zappo's- shame on you. You should really have better Quality Control of what you sell and describe it more accurately and honestly in the video. Sunshine said "A padded tongue will give you the extra cushion comfort" NOT TRUE.

This shoe is my first disappointment after years of wearing Ryka. I own the Ryka Influence and I thought this would be an upgrade when I needed a replacement. Had to return the first pair because it was too short, and the tongue was not padded. I thought I received a defective pair. When the pair 1/2 size larger arrived, the tongue also not padded. The video says the shoe has a padded tongue but it's a flat piece of upper mesh like the body of the shoe. Just not quality I've had from past Ryka shoes.

Oddly shaped and narrow in the toe box, despite the wide size. Also didn't feel very supportive.

Love the look however they feel cheap, I only wear maybe once every two weeks. They have already started making my feet hurt and the heal on one has broken down. I can't get it back up and can't wear because it really bothers me. I always untie and take care of how I put on and take off. Very disappointed.

These shoes have a very uncomfortable tongue. It's actually sharp at the tip and rubs into your leg when you stand and walk.

Cute but cut SO small. Couldn't be worn with the thinnest socks and I ordered the same size I have worn forever. I would just exchange but now they aren't showing at the same sale price.

Ryka....once yon a time Ryka studio shoes meant comfort, high quality and superior fit meant for women doing high impact activities such as lockbox and step. These felt cheap, flimsy and had no roomy toe box needed to prevent painful rubbing or pressing during step and hiit classes. My true to size 7.5 foot was pushing up against all sides of this shoe just standing up. The inner sole also had a weird line imprinted in it that I could feel. I think I'm done with ryka after these.

As a fitness instructor I put on a shoe and want to feel the cushion and support in the ball of the foot and the heel. I did not feel that in this shoe. The fit and color are great. I've always worn Ryka's and will continue to. However I must stick with the Devotion Plus shoe for the support and comfort for high impact moves.

I just finished my regular 30 min aerobic workout with warm up and cool down also. My back hurts and my feet are numb and tingling, after almost 25 yrs of aerobics I have to say that these shoes are a failure in regards to support in the ball of the foot! They have no lateral support and the tongue is a joke! I taught classes for over 20 yrs and I'm so disappointed in the lack of decent shoes for indoor classes like kick box, dance of any kind or just basic aerobic moves! These shoes could cause fractures in the metatarsal bones!

I normally wear a size 6 in street shoes but I always get a full size larger for my workout and running shoes. However on these shoes I could feel my toe hitting the top of the shoe. And the material used to make the shoes feels like plastic the tongue part and the side ls not comfortable at all so unfortunately I am returning them. I really like Ryka shoes but these are not for me.
