I am writing this for my husband who just received this - He always wears Ecco shoes and loves them for comfort. What is disturbing is that NO WHERE in the description does it say that these are NUBUCK which is a suede like finish and CANNOT BE POLISHED - it onlys says "leather uppers". After the fact, if we stare at the photo some more we can probably see that it is not regular calf leather. I think you need to amend your description. A lot of people would not want nubuck - it is hard to care for - and definitely not good in the rain. I am not sure he will keep them. He likes to polish his shoes when they show wear.

I had the earlier version of this shoe - the ECCO Fusion Casual Tie. I had purchased that from Zappos back in 2014. and really like the fit and feel. The design was slightly different - the 2014 version had a stitched lacing on the insole - more like a bowling design. What i liked about the first pair was that it was dressy enough for a dress casual work setting but also casual enough that it could be worn other places. And best of it, it fit great and felt great. Now I have ordered teh Fusion II. At first I was concerned about the stiffness on the sides at the back of the ankles but that is just a break-in issue. Never thought about it again after the first day. They fit and feel great just like the 2014 pair. Really like these shoes.

No Seawalker, why that was discounted is one of life’s mysteries. Anyways, the fusion is a very solid replacement. Did I mention Zappos customer service?? They blow me away each and every time, 10+.

My husband purchased these shoes after his older ECCO shoes needed replacing. He is very satisfied with the fit and they also provide great arch support which is what he bases comfort on. Very satisfied with these shoes.

Compared to the pair of 44's I bought 20 years ago and wore almost every day: I had to return the new 44's for 45's. The new 44's pinched my feet; the 45's are too large, but fit OK with an additional insole. The leather is stiffer than before. Otherwise I hope the new ones after they are broken in will work for several years.

I normally wear a 44 in anybody else’s shoe. But with ECCO, I know a 43 will be a perfect fit. These were no exception.

Perfect fit and comfort right away.

Ecco's are my go to work shoe. I am on my feet for 10 hours a day and have no foot fatigue at the end of the day. Ecco's run a little narrow which works great for me since my foot is a 12 B, which is impossible to find. This is my second pair of this style of shoe. I My last pair lasted me 2 years, which is amazing since I am tough on shoes. I usually wear down insoles fairly quick. I will continue to purchase Ecco brand of shoes.

This is my second pair of the Ecco Fusion II. I love these shoes.

Awesome right out of the box

My last pair of ECCO fusion shoes lasted almost 8 years and I wotre them 4 days a week. Comfort is very good, not excellent, very good. Quality and longevity is the ECCO benchmark.

ECCO shoes are just an exceptional shoe. These are no different than the other 4 pair in my closet. Great fit, comfort and style. I have no doubt they’ll last me 4+ years just like my last pair. Zappos/UPS got them here ahead of schedule to !

The shoe fits like a glove, and is very comfortable to wear. It's not light, but certainly not as heavy as some of the winter shoes I have tried. The leather looks like it will wear well.

A solid comfortable work shoe. Ecco shoes are top quality.

I thought that the shoes were oversized until I read the description of the ‘Freedom Fit’. I’ve come to like the feeling and comfort of the relaxed shoe bed.

The leather lining is a big plus. This is much cooler on your feet and softer. These are well made shoes and since I need about a 12,25 for perfect fit, the size that says 12 to 12.5 is great. They are dressy enough to wear most places and don’t look like a work shoe. The extra money for leather lining is worth it.

I have owned several pairs of ECCO's but these are the most comfortable pair I have owned. Good for work and play.

Great shoes, extremely comfortable. I usually wear a Ecco size 43, however with a thicker sock when walking I need a size 44.

These shoes can easily be worn with either dress pants or nicer casual pants. The quality is superb - smooth, soft leather on the outside, very cushiony leather insoles on the inside, and a great shock-absorbing outsole. This style runs one size bigger than normal so make sure you order one size down. I've owned a pair ECCO Fusion II slip-ons for a few years now and they look as good as when I bought them so I expect the same from this pair. Perfect for work, travel, or any situation where you want both looks and comfort!

I love this shoe... its the most comfortable Ecco I've ever owned. (And I've owned many Ecco shoes over the years.) This is the shoe I wear for trade shows or other events that will entail a lot of standing on my feet because my feet feel so much better at the end of the day, compared to my other shoes (including some other Eccos.) I like these so much that I bought them in both colors. They are a little casual for wear with a suit (hence the 4 starts for style) but I wear them anyway because comfort beats out fashion in my world.

The listed US sizing is 6-6.5 for size 40. This is incorrect. I wear men's size 7.5 which equates to European size 40. These shoes fit me well once I figured this out.

Comfy as you'd expect from Ecco. A little extra width in the ball/toe area, which is great for me. Color was lighter than I expected from the photo. Much more of a dark khaki than a brown.

Having gone through a significant lower extremity illness and seeing my shoe size evolve over six months during recovery, I have tried MANY shoes. Further, having always worn a slip-on, my orthopedist and podiatrist strongly urged tie shoes for better support (they are correct). The Fusion II just may be the best fitting, most comfortable shoe in my wardrobe. I purchased them in anticipation of significant walking in Europe later this Spring. So pleased am I with the shoe, I'm purchasing a second pair. Despite their marketing as a casual walking shoe, the Fusions II could be worn to dressier occasions quite easily. For me, the Fusion II is a great find.
