Small and narrow! Usually Danskos in size 42 fit me well. These shoes feel at least a size smaller and the style is straight and narrow.

I've tried both a 39 and 40 with this shoe. The 40 is bit too long and deep. They left my foot riding "low" in the show - the sides of the shoe bumped into my ankle bones. The 39 is too short. It was worth giving it a try to see if they would work. I love the look but my 12.5 hour RN shifts require fit over look. Also, these should be marked as water resistant. They've been scotch guarded which will help with water shed but are not truly water proof. They are a nice suede and keeping that in mind cleaning could be difficult if you truly need water proof. My Dansko Professional Clogs are a size 40 and fit loose though perhaps not as sloppy as Dansko recommends. Seems my feet land in the middle of two sizes.

Nice looking shoe, however, this shoe is heavy, clunky, and noisy on hard surface floors. I couldn’t keep this shoe from slipping up and down on my heel. Had to return.

I’m on the hunt for a replacement for my favorite running shoes for working. I’m an RN and spend many, many hours on my feet. I liked the way they looked and the fact that they are much lighter than my Dansko clogs. They felt a bit long and I had heel slip that I wasn’t expecting. The primary reason I returned them instead of trying a different size is that the tongue seems too long and shoved into the front of my ankle. I had this trouble with a pair of Keens where the tongue was so hard and also shoved into the flex point of my foot and ankle. I ended up with an injury to my ankle with those and I swore That never again would I try to break in a pair of shoes with this same issue...so back these Dansko’s went.. and, my search continues. Love the fast delivery shipping of Zappos but have been a bit disappointed with the slow return shipping. Seven days showing in transit, delivery expected in two and then the waiting on the refund.

Needed some really supportive shoes for work because I’m having a lot of trouble with plantar faciitis. They do offer support, I will say that and are a nice looking shoe. But they are the slipperiest shoe I’ve ever worn in my life. If you walk through even the slightest bit of water on the floor you’re down unless you’re very balanced on your feet like I am. They should absolutely not be advertised as slip resistant. Farthest thing from it.

These look nice in the picture but they are not sized right, too small for me and not very comfortable. European shoes are really difficult to size. I would not recommend these shoes.

Returning this shoe was a difficult decision. The grey color was nice. The bottom of the shoe had great traction and I have no doubt would help on slippery surfaces. I have never had a shoe with such excellent foot opening, the shoe tongue was concaved which allowed my large foot very easy entry into the shoe. I normally wear a 10.5 however in some shoes a 10 fits better. In running shoes, I always wear an 11. Thanks to Zappos, I ordered both a 40 and 41 in hopes of finding the right fit. The 40 (for size 9.5 to 10) was way to tight. The 41 (size 10.5 to 11) was a good fit but my left foot seemed to have a slight lifting when I walked. Normally tightening the laces would take care of this problem but the laces on this shoe would loosen over a short time. I kept a running shoe that did the same and even with putting in those sticky filler to help with fit on the left shoe, I still got blisters. Not taking that chance again so unfortunately both sizes will have to go back. Thats only due to my odd feet. So sad. :-(

I own other Dansko shoes and always pleased with the quality. Found these while searching for navy sneakers and ordered without hesitation. Very comfortable and stylish for a middle-aged mother BUT the shoe laces are horrible! They come untied just walking to my mailbox. Have to double-tie the laces and still can't get a snug tie. For what I paid I shouldn't have to buy new shoe laces for these.

Love Dansko. I usually take a 40 but in these I had to get a 41. The toe box is adequate. If the toe box was any smaller I would not have kept them. I would have liked a little more cushioning or height at the ball of the foot, similar to the clogs. I love the color and material. I am replacing my New Balance 940's which have seriously decreased in quality. I use the treadmill and they seem like they might work. I tried the Patti which I liked the fit even better and at my normal size but I felt that I needed the extra support of the laces for the treadmill.

The Dansko Paisley fit my foot lengthwise, but the heel section is extremely wide. Unfortunately this style did not work for me.

I wear many Dansko clogs and thought these would be a good option for a shoe. The back of the heel seemed too stiff. Seemed like it would definitely cause friction and blisters if worn for any length of time. Sad to be returning.

Customer service is exceptional, very responsive and helpful. The shoe felt true to size and had a good heel cushion for my heel spur. However the rest do the shoe felt too rigid for me especially around the upper area where the foot goes into the shoe and laces. After wearing them on the carpet to try them out, they just weren't comfortable enough for my foot. It is a handsome shoe and well constructed. I ordered the shoe based on the glowing recommendations and was disappointed that it didn't work for my feet.

I really wanted this shoe to work, but in the end, I decided to return it. I mainly decided to return it because the nubuck tongue of the shoe was too stiff and too high, and I thought it would start to bother me. I also wasn't sure if the arch support would start to bother me by putting too much pressure on my arch. I am lucky to not have feet issues and was just looking for a good shoe to wear on a sightseeing trip. It is a pretty cute shoe for what it is, just didn't work for me.

I have high insteps and a skinny foot, and this shoe could not be laced right for me. It is a very attractive look, but it has to go back.

I loved the previous model of this shoe. But this model feels short. I think the toe is just a bit pointed/narrow (compared to the old model). Sadly, it won't work for me.

I wanted to like these since my favorite shoe, the Clark's Wave Trek, was discontinued. It is very similar in style, but not in feel. I wore it around the house and it was readily apparent that it was not the shoe for me in terms of comfort and support.

:( Purchased these Dansko Paisleys so I'd have a comfy pair of "sneakers" that I could wear as walking shoes as well. I wear a 36 and they were true to size with good arch support. Because I have bunions and bone spurs in my feet - oh, and Achilles Tendonitis, I thought these would be PERFECT! Unfortunately, even though the footbed is perfect for someone with my feet issues, I was disappointed that the shoe comes up high on the ankle- making it rub! Ouch! Other than that, they would've been great! Wish there was an updated shoes to the paisley where the heel was lower- I'd get it!

I love these. Everything about them is perfect - They look great, are sturdy, super leather styling. And I am so sad that I have to send them back. They are too high and tight on my ankles and no combination of insoles and arch support could stop the pain, specifically on the inner upper edge of my right ankle and ankle bone. I thought about taking them to a shoe repair shop, but I fear that cut-and-paste would render them unwearable. I'm hoping that Dansko restyles these so I can order the next evolution.

I have difficult feet-hammer toes, tailor's bunion,big toe joint bunion, skinny and partially numbfrom neuropathy. these shoes would be ideal except the ankle area and tongue hit the inner ankle bone (skinny problem) painfully. If i can get the heel area inside the shoe raised 1/2" and still stay on, then these shoes are winners. the toe box part feels great! Maybe thin socks would help too.

Super cute, but had to return because I need to use my orthotics, and even though they fit just fine, once I took out the insole that comes with these, they just weren't comfortable enough. Also, they are very klunky, kind of hard, if you know what I mean. I wish they had been my happiness, but my feet are very temperamental.

I got these before a trip to England. I wanted a walking shoe that didn't look like a track shoe. These are very cute, and sturdy on pavement and cobblestones. But they are SO heavy on my feet that it causes fatigue. This was a lesson to me to look at how much shoes weigh.

I loved the look of the shoe, but like others, mine showed damage fairly quickly. The front part (rand) split in several places within a few months, and after 12 months, the sole of one shoe pulled off about 20%, so I superglued it back on to squeeze a few more weeks out of it. In my pic I'm holding the sole on. There are tears in the bottom of the sole and pieces of plastic are flecking off also. So when you see other's photos, look closely! This brand's quality is slipping! This shoe breaks down fast. For the cost, I didn't expect them to degrade so quickly. I am bummed that I cannot trust this brand for the quality it once stood for. By the way I still have Salomon's looking nearly perfect after 8 years of regular wear! Plus they are actually waterproof whereas my feet did get wet in these despite the label. It's the cheap materials that make the difference as I wore them similarly to these Danskos.

I have arch support needs and I was excited to order these shoes. For the first week I wore them at home, and they were awesome. The second week I wore them out to walk the mall, and Costco. After an all day wear the front portion of my feet and my toes were bruised, and very sore. It seemed that where the laces end near the toe area was too thick for a long day of walking. Sadly, it is too late to return, and these will go in the donation pile. The positives were that I loved this style, how it made my feet look, the arch support was fantastic and I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR WIDE WIDTHS IN THE DANSKO BRAND. Will continue on my quest to find comfortable, wide width and supportive casual shoes.

I had to return these because they SQUEAK on hard floors! The sole is so "sticky" that every step is loud. I know it's not coming from the inside of the shoe (where I might be able to fix it with baby powder or using other tricks) because it doesn't happen on carpet. I bought these hoping I could wear them at work but I walk around a lot and I don't how long it would take for the squeaking to stop, if it ever does.
