I love Dansko clogs and have hallus rigidus so was hoping these would work for me. I ordered the 6W and the wide is definitely needed in these shoes. Unfortunately as others noted, the heel area was too stiff for me and my sensitive feet. I know I would not be able to tolerate that if I wore these for a long period of time.

Bought these for a trip expecting to do a lot of walking. I liked the waterproof feature, and always loved Dansko clogs. These are ok, but I am not wowed!

I am returning these because they were not comfortable. I ordered my usual size in Dansko (40) and they did not fit. In the past this size was good for me, and I still have an old pair of Dansko's (style is not made anymore) that still fit. Also, the material used for the uppers is stiff and doesn't bend. Sorry, Dansko. I guess I will go back to Clark's because I know my size and know the product is consistent. (I only ordered these because my usual Clark's is out of stock).

Terrific room in the toe box and sturdy outsole. However, they run wide in the heel causing slippage.; fits in the heel almost like a Dankso clog. Dankso, please make lace-ups with narrower heels.

I'm really disappointed to write this review, as I love Dansko & I love this shoe! I bought a supportive Dansko shoe on recommendation from my podiatrist after breaking my toe for a week long trip to Europe. They were great for my toe, but flared up my plantar fascia issues on my *other* foot something terrible! I could barely walk after just a few miles. Major bummer. I'm not sure why it happened, as they are very supportive, but they did not work well for my foot!

The "wide" is not quite wide enough but tolerable. I have worn these to to work every day for two weeks and so far so good. I walk and stand on concrete floors. I hope these last a long time.

I was looking for a waterproof shoe that didn’t look like a hiking boot. These look like a hiking boot and a gym shoe had a baby and the style worked for me. The toe box is nice and roomy without looking clownish. Arch support is excellent and almost borders on too high of an arch. Higher than another Dansko shoe I have. My biggest issue is that despite being labeled waterproof they aren’t actually waterproof. Without stepping in any puddles one of my feet was wet 10 minutes into watching a rainy football game. The other was wet within an hour or less of being in the rain.

This shoe was surprisingly uncomfortable. The insole rubbed, no matter how loosely I tied them. The toe box was also painful. The most difficult part, was how stiff the footbed was. After walking a few miles 4 days ago, the bottom of my feet still ache. So sad, they seemed a great waterproof option.

Loved the look of the shoe, but the stiffness of the shoe made them uncomfortable to walk in.

Small and narrow! Usually Danskos in size 42 fit me well. These shoes feel at least a size smaller and the style is straight and narrow.

I've tried both a 39 and 40 with this shoe. The 40 is bit too long and deep. They left my foot riding "low" in the show - the sides of the shoe bumped into my ankle bones. The 39 is too short. It was worth giving it a try to see if they would work. I love the look but my 12.5 hour RN shifts require fit over look. Also, these should be marked as water resistant. They've been scotch guarded which will help with water shed but are not truly water proof. They are a nice suede and keeping that in mind cleaning could be difficult if you truly need water proof. My Dansko Professional Clogs are a size 40 and fit loose though perhaps not as sloppy as Dansko recommends. Seems my feet land in the middle of two sizes.

Nice looking shoe, however, this shoe is heavy, clunky, and noisy on hard surface floors. I couldn’t keep this shoe from slipping up and down on my heel. Had to return.

I’m on the hunt for a replacement for my favorite running shoes for working. I’m an RN and spend many, many hours on my feet. I liked the way they looked and the fact that they are much lighter than my Dansko clogs. They felt a bit long and I had heel slip that I wasn’t expecting. The primary reason I returned them instead of trying a different size is that the tongue seems too long and shoved into the front of my ankle. I had this trouble with a pair of Keens where the tongue was so hard and also shoved into the flex point of my foot and ankle. I ended up with an injury to my ankle with those and I swore That never again would I try to break in a pair of shoes with this same issue...so back these Dansko’s went.. and, my search continues. Love the fast delivery shipping of Zappos but have been a bit disappointed with the slow return shipping. Seven days showing in transit, delivery expected in two and then the waiting on the refund.

Needed some really supportive shoes for work because I’m having a lot of trouble with plantar faciitis. They do offer support, I will say that and are a nice looking shoe. But they are the slipperiest shoe I’ve ever worn in my life. If you walk through even the slightest bit of water on the floor you’re down unless you’re very balanced on your feet like I am. They should absolutely not be advertised as slip resistant. Farthest thing from it.

These look nice in the picture but they are not sized right, too small for me and not very comfortable. European shoes are really difficult to size. I would not recommend these shoes.

Returning this shoe was a difficult decision. The grey color was nice. The bottom of the shoe had great traction and I have no doubt would help on slippery surfaces. I have never had a shoe with such excellent foot opening, the shoe tongue was concaved which allowed my large foot very easy entry into the shoe. I normally wear a 10.5 however in some shoes a 10 fits better. In running shoes, I always wear an 11. Thanks to Zappos, I ordered both a 40 and 41 in hopes of finding the right fit. The 40 (for size 9.5 to 10) was way to tight. The 41 (size 10.5 to 11) was a good fit but my left foot seemed to have a slight lifting when I walked. Normally tightening the laces would take care of this problem but the laces on this shoe would loosen over a short time. I kept a running shoe that did the same and even with putting in those sticky filler to help with fit on the left shoe, I still got blisters. Not taking that chance again so unfortunately both sizes will have to go back. Thats only due to my odd feet. So sad. :-(

I own other Dansko shoes and always pleased with the quality. Found these while searching for navy sneakers and ordered without hesitation. Very comfortable and stylish for a middle-aged mother BUT the shoe laces are horrible! They come untied just walking to my mailbox. Have to double-tie the laces and still can't get a snug tie. For what I paid I shouldn't have to buy new shoe laces for these.

Love Dansko. I usually take a 40 but in these I had to get a 41. The toe box is adequate. If the toe box was any smaller I would not have kept them. I would have liked a little more cushioning or height at the ball of the foot, similar to the clogs. I love the color and material. I am replacing my New Balance 940's which have seriously decreased in quality. I use the treadmill and they seem like they might work. I tried the Patti which I liked the fit even better and at my normal size but I felt that I needed the extra support of the laces for the treadmill.

The Dansko Paisley fit my foot lengthwise, but the heel section is extremely wide. Unfortunately this style did not work for me.

I wear many Dansko clogs and thought these would be a good option for a shoe. The back of the heel seemed too stiff. Seemed like it would definitely cause friction and blisters if worn for any length of time. Sad to be returning.

Customer service is exceptional, very responsive and helpful. The shoe felt true to size and had a good heel cushion for my heel spur. However the rest do the shoe felt too rigid for me especially around the upper area where the foot goes into the shoe and laces. After wearing them on the carpet to try them out, they just weren't comfortable enough for my foot. It is a handsome shoe and well constructed. I ordered the shoe based on the glowing recommendations and was disappointed that it didn't work for my feet.

I really wanted this shoe to work, but in the end, I decided to return it. I mainly decided to return it because the nubuck tongue of the shoe was too stiff and too high, and I thought it would start to bother me. I also wasn't sure if the arch support would start to bother me by putting too much pressure on my arch. I am lucky to not have feet issues and was just looking for a good shoe to wear on a sightseeing trip. It is a pretty cute shoe for what it is, just didn't work for me.

I have high insteps and a skinny foot, and this shoe could not be laced right for me. It is a very attractive look, but it has to go back.

I loved the previous model of this shoe. But this model feels short. I think the toe is just a bit pointed/narrow (compared to the old model). Sadly, it won't work for me.
