These shoes fit extraordinarily well and are supremely comfortable (though I use an upgraded insole for my high arches and Morton's neuroma. My only negative comment is that these are my second pair--the first pair started to shred at the heels after too short a time and without any shoe abuse.

I wanted to love this shoe! The color is great and the firmness of the sole and arch support perfect. Unfortunately, the top leather is just too stiff and it rubs the top of my toes. Deal breaker.

Unfortunately, I have to send them back because they are too small.

I got a European size that was half-size bigger than I regularly get, and wide because of swelling feet, and they fit perfectly and feel very comfortable. I was delighted to find this size/width in such a stylish beautiful shoe, which is very important to me. I'm sorry now to read that they may not be waterproof but c'est la vie. I hope not to be wearing them in pouring rain. If so, my socks and feet will dry. Before that, I won't be wearing ugly walking shoes.

These are very sturdy shoes, but they are fairly streamlined and not clunky, which I appreciate. They are extremely stiff and inflexible. Usually I prefer stiff shoes, but these have zero give & my feet hurt if I wear them all day. They’re fine for a few hours at a time. I think the toe box is narrower than I’m used to on Danskos, too. My big toe feels a little shoved over if I wear these too long.

I tried these shoes a few years ago but was slipping all over the place on wet pavement. Recently I noticed that the tread had changed so I ordered a pair. At first I ordered my usual size, a 39, but they were too small lengthwise, so I returned them and got a 40 and they are perfect! I’m usually a size 8.5-9M fyi but the 40 was much better. The tread is nice and sticky so they will be perfect for my upcoming November European vacation! The return was faster than Amazon. I can’t believe how fast I got the new pair. Unbelievable! This shoe is working out just great. I was really nervous when I started test wearing them around the house because they felt a bit tight and the arch support was pushing on my inner arch. That felt uncomfortable. it was just my foot getting used to wearing a great supporting shoe that my feet needed to adjust to. I have a bad foot for multiple reasons and I am happy to say that the support these shoes provide have made a huge difference in keeping my foot pain free!

These fit well in width and length, but on the upper right side the shoe narrows in too much and rubs / presses against my toe.

I was looking for a sturdy, supportive, waterproof “sneaker-type” shoe that my shoe inserts would fit into that would keep me dry and safe when walking on cobblestones in Italy. After returning a pair one size smaller, this one proved to be the more comfortable (I could wiggle my toes better), so I kept it. I’ve not walked on cobblestones or stood out in one of our AZ Monsoon rainstorms, so I cannot yet speak to those important characteristics: I’ll simply have to believe the box (it said WATERPROOF) and expect the tread on the soles to keep me upright on cobblestones when I wear them in Italy for the first time a few weeks from now. I’ve worn DANSKO before, so I’m expecting this pair to serve me as well as that pair. I am particularly happy with how this pair looks: stylish enough to wear with long pants for dinners, and not as huge as a size 10.5-11 would usually appear.

I like these shoes overall. I wanted them for walking. I just wish there was a little more cushion on the bottom. I might try them with foot pads.

I have never worn a Dansko shoe before so I didn’t know what to expect. I wanted to like it but in the end it just didn’t feel right for my foot. I need a wide to accommodate a bunion but this one felt like I was in a medium. I actually double checked to make sure The shoe was actually marked W. I also found the toe box to be low so there wasn’t a lot of wiggle room in there. But ultimately I was worried that there would not be enough padding under the ball of my foot.

As a person who is always in Birkenstocks, I am hard pressed to find a shoe with comparable fit and support, I have wide feet and a high arch. I like the style and quality of this shoe, it has a roomy, high toe box. The heel is nice and wide, feels supportive, yet gives a little when you put your weight on it. Drawbacks: I wish it came in a size 10.5, these are a bit loose, and the heels come up high and rub my cankles. This might be remedied with socks and some break in time. It is very hard to find shoes for my double wide feet and high arches. This is my 6th active wear sneaker which I may end up keeping, just waiting on another pair. Who knows? I may end up with 2 new pairs!

I wanted to love these. I can't take the chance on getting my feet wet and too many serious reviews stated they were not waterproof. Upon researching deeper, it appears there is supposed to be a lining in these and the tops are sprayed. I would have to read from people that they wore these on hikes, across streams and their feet stayed dry. For dry walking and hiking, they may work.

Very comfy but the toe box is just a bit narrow for my wide foot.

I have bunions, plantar fasciitis, one foot larger than the other, Achilles Tendonitis, hip replacement. These are as good as it gets for so many foot problems. And they aren’t clunky looking. Round shoelaces don’t stay tied. Prefer flat laces. I wish they’d bring back walnut color. Even more, wish they had white!

It was a little long for me. Regular size is 5 so the 5.5 was too big. The width on the wide was good for my bunions and joint inflammation. A regular width would’ve been too narrow. Returning this one.

I got both 38 and 39. The 39 was just too loose. Great shoe for those who have orthotics. Mine fit well in the shoe, even with a 1/2"lift on the left foot. Not to bulky and cute.

Purchased these to walk around Italy! They were perfect on the cobble stone paths! Each day the shoe molded more to my feet. Great support!

I absolutely love these shoes. They are well-designed, with great attention to every detail. Beautiful stitching, soft materials, comfortable right out of the box, waterproof nu-buck (plus Scotchguard) and an excellent foot-bed. Unfortunately Dansko still only makes European (whole) sizes, and they were too big. I wish I could have kept them, but they had to go back.

Hurt an old sesamoid injury and a little orthopedic looking.

The picture of the undersole looked a lot more rounded at the toe than the shoe actually is. It is not offered in a wider width, and I was unsure if a larger size would make a width difference, so I returned rather than exchanged for a larger size. They seem very well made -- I was quite disappointed in the fit.

Loved the look . Shoe was well made but it rubbed on my bunion and also they squeaked on tile and wood floor so I will return with regrets because I wanted these to work

I have been buying this style for years. This particular pair is not as comfortable as all the previous ones. Hope this is just a fluke and not a permanent change in this style.

My 2nd pair of Dankso. Bought these for walking coz I love the vibram sole. Unfortunately, for me there are too many laces that pressed down on the top of my foot triggering my arthritis pain. Really bummed coz I loved the look and Dansko.

Toebox width was perfect (ordered wide) but heels slipped and couldn't be corrected with shoestrings.
