I am size 8.5 and the 8 was the correct size. The boot is a little wide but w/ thicker winter socks it fits perfect. I am thin and this boot fits my calf much better than the "classic" boot which was much wider both at calf and foot. I measured my calf size at widest portion in standing on the skin at 12 and 1/2 inches.

I am a size 8.5 in most shoes. I ordered a 9 so I could wear thick warm socks. They are perfect for that. They are a little wide, but I think that’s normal for what type of boot they are. I really like them. Easy to put on. Not super cold yet so I can’t say anything about that.

Fit & sizing seem to be accurate, the boot shaft is a little tighter than expected but not requiring a larger width. Overall style is okay, but a bit frumpy as Bogs can be.

Felt slightly too big compared to other shoes I have that are also a size 8. But I will still keep them so I can wear thick socks with them in the cold Wyoming winters.

As folks have said, they are easy and quick to get on and off - this is important to me, with a dog in a cold New England winter. My other winter boots are annoyingly difficult and tedious to get into - no back loop to haul them on with and laces and etc. Also, they are falling apart after only one year- thanks, Kamik. So, even if these are not the warmest boots, the ease of use and the definite waterproof, welly-like qualities are most excellent recommendations. And, as it happens, they are pretty warm ! The addition of a sheepskin or other fuzzy insole will improve this and with that in mind, I did order up ( usually take 8 to 8 1/2 - 8 is usually fine ) to a size 9. It is still comfy, though roomy- as is, but there is lots of room for a liner and thick socks. These boots will also work very well throughout the dreaded 'mud season' when dog and I go for a squelch across the field ! They are nice looking, too.

Can’t go wrong with Bogs! I have gardening Bogs, rain Bogs and needed new snow Bogs. My previous winter blogs were the classic style. These are more attractive and so easy to slip on and off and lined with soft warm fabric. I live in a climate with long cold winters and slushy, muddy springs and my feet have always stayed warm and dry in Bogs.

I buy bogs for my son and decided to try a pair for myself. They are perfect to wear to work on rainy/snowy days. I wear a 7.5 and purchased an 8. I will be able to wear them with heavy socks in the winter time. I love how they are waterproof and the lining will keep my legs/feet warm!

These are really nice looking boots - much slimmer and sleeker than the classic Bogs and other traditional winter boots. Unfortunately they just didn’t fit me right. They were too loose / soft around the ankle and tight around the calves, which caused the boot to sort of buckle / fold around the ankle and shin — almost like the boot was collapsing. They were also not as tall as I had hoped. Cute boots just didn’t work out for me.

I did a lot of research and comparison before purchasing the Crandall Tall and I was excited to receive the boots. Unfortunately, they did not work out for me in terms of fit, but I would say that the design, construction, and comfort of the boots are top-notch. I do think that the fleece lining would have kept my foot warm in winter conditions. The reason that they did not work for me is the relative boxiness and looseness of the foot. Even with the thickest wool socks I have far too much room on the sides and top of the foot, creating uncomfortable slipping. I have relatively narrow and delicate feet, though, so someone with a wider foot may find the fit just right. I might recommend sizing down if you are between sizes.
