I wanted a simple black leather cowboy boot and that's exactly what I got! I am a solid 8.5 for everything - shoes, boots, etc. and these fit with a slight bit of extra space which was great so I could wear a heavier sock in the colder weather. I really like the shaft height on these boots - I'm only 5'2" so many boots are taller than what I want - these were a perfect mid-calf height. The leather was a bit stiff out of the box but after wearing around the house for about an hour they broke in nicely and I was good to go!

These boots take a great picture! They went right on, and I considered keeping them, because the price was good, but to be honest, they seemed cheap, and I want a pair of boots that will last and look good. The shaft was very wide and somewhat flimsy, I thought they might be slouchy in a short time. I returned them.

First time ordering from Zappo's. Also, first time ordering cowgirl boots. Not really excited about receiving previously worn items. Ordered the tan, boots do not match in color, so I can see why they were returned. Also, the cardboard toe inset was stuffed inside toe and I had to tear it out so that they would be easier to try on. Is this your practice to sell previously worn and returned shoes? I will attempt to try them as the price was right, but really don't appreciate buying boots or whatever that were worn by others. Bags, tissue wrap, etc. not there. Expected better. We will see what happens.

Would be too tight with socks especially with tender foot. BEAUTIFUL boots!! Loved the look - perfect with skirts or dresses or with fitted jean tucked in.

The size 8 felt pretty true to size. The gray boots look very nice. Sole looks like it will wear well. I did send mine back because I had a problem with my ankle tipping inward when stepping down. Also the top of the boot made my bootcut jeans poke out a lot when walking. Wish they would have worked.

I have basically square feet! My shoe size is 6.5 W or WW. I ordered 7.5 W because I'm used to ordering up at least a size to accommodate width, plus I plan on wearing fairly heavy socks with them. I'm happy to say these are true to size. If I hadn't had heavy socks on they would be too big. The width is GREAT. The only tight spot is the instep on my left foot, which is for some reason bigger than my right but the tightness isn't going to be a problem. It's minimally tight and will stretch out enough to fit perfectly. I am so happy I finally found a pair of boots in the style I love that don't hurt. Highly recommend and may even buy another pair in another color!

These boots are perfect for me - - great styling, easy to get on & off, and super cute!! I highly recommend them.

I wear between a 9.5 and 10. Bought these in a 10 as well as 2 pair of Dan Post boots. The Dan Post boots were way more comfortable. The leather on these is stiff and even though they fit fine they felt very uncomfortable. I also have thin calves and these looked really big around the leg. Returning.

Size was reasonable, maybe a touch big/long&wide. The heal of both left and right boots curves back in very stiffly across the achilies tendon. The rest of the foot felt loose. The heal was not snug left to right, just a very uncomfortable pressing in on the achilies for about 1/2 inch. They look really nice, even with a sole that pokes out so far from the leather ... ha, extra balance?!

Beautiful boot but oddly tight over the top - near my ankle.

I was super concerned because everywhere was out of wide calf, so I took a chance and purchased the wide width, regular calf! When I opened the box and my foot slipped into the boot like the perfect fit, I was super excited. I have since purchased 3 more Laredo womens boots with the wide width only. My calf is about a 15 and I have plenty of room to tuck, etc. Laredo's are my boot for sure. xoxo

I wear a 8.5 unless in wide and then I wear an 8. I wanted these boots in the wide width and wide calf, but they were sold out everywhere. I took a gamble nd purchased in the wide width and reg calf and I am so glad I did. Their is nothing like having your foot slide right in a new boot. This has happened twice in my life and both were Laredo. Lades who wear wide width and/or calf? This is your boot. I have in both the brown and black. Beautiful and comfortable right out of the box. If I knew who was responsible for the sizing on these I would write a personal thank you. Could not be happier.

Laredo is the brand of boots I loved when I lived in Houston in the 90’s. The brand is still great. Beautiful styling, fantastic fit and well priced. Love my new Laredo boots!

Ordered because I’ve got a wide foot. The item I received is for someone with a wide, calf or leg, that’s not me. It was so wide on my leg, it looked ridiculous.

Too much rubber all around, otherwise good value for price, not high class but good to go

These WAY exceeded my expectations! The leather is nice, they fit great, they’re comfortable and look so cute with a short dress!!! I absolutely love them so much I’m going to order them in brown as well! They’re not booties but they’re not full shank boots, they come about mid shin. Really hard to find reasonably priced real leather boots. Get these and you’ll be super excited! ??
