Bought the black/spruce green and the zinc grey/tropical coral online. They were true to the colors as shown on the website. The medium size was perfect for a 5 night camping trip that included unknown weather (meaning we brought more items than needed since we were planning for cold and warm weather) plus extra space for random bits of gear. The "duffs" are super durable, very much water resistant and easy to move around.

I love this bag. I was originally going to get a black hole duffle by patagonia. But they didnt have the right size. 60l was too small and 90l was way too large. The 71 l base camp fits all my climbing gear with ample room. Perfect for day ventures and getting all your gearto your climbing spot comfortably.

I used this bag on a 16-day trip to Europe. It easily fits within the allowable airline dimensions for checked baggage, fits comfortably on my back/shoulders, and was able to carry all the essentials and some extras for my trip.

This is a very well designed and built duffel. It will last me for many years of use.

I ordered a XL bag however I felt it was a little too big for my needs, so I returned it for a small. I liked it so much I then ordered a medium. I have to tell you these duffel bags are made with the same durability as every other Northface item. I absolutely love them & know that they'll last a very long time!

Awesome bag, very sturdy and appears almost impossible to rip or tear, fits everything I need. The backpack function takes it to the next level, and I honestly don't ever see myself buying any other type of duffel!

I use this bag for anything from 4 day trips up to 8 days. The bag is perfect because i can carry it on undectected because it appears as a backpack and then check it at the gate for free! It's super durable and fits much more than you would expect. I wouldn't recommend it for backpacking travel but all other travel it is perfect for.

Medium size has PLENTY of space for a week long adventure!

I use this product for adventuring and camping trips. It's wonderful and very versatile. I can utilize it for short trips, or long trips, it has ample room for cute clothes or hiking boots when necessary. this bag comes in so many colors that it was difficult to choose! I love this bag, super durable and very comfortable.

This is an awesome bag, I've used it for my climbing equipment at the crag and traveling, both instances this bag has come in clutch. It's extremely durable, never worried about throwing it around and it getting torn. Surprisingly the backpack straps are really comfortable if your pack is packed correctly (was not expecting that). Overall its a rugged massive pack that gets style points.

I use it to store stuff in a College Storage Unit over the summer. Since it's very humid in my area, I wanted something strong, resistable and waterproof that is gonna last several years. I already recommended this to my friend.

I use this for most travel, both business and personal by plane, train, or automobile. It is a good size for carry on and for up to a week of clothes for me. Very durable. Comfy shoulder straps. Pretty weatherproof.

It is a great bag, I travel for work. The backpack feature is perfect for how I travel. All the handles around the bag make it easy to grab.

The best bag I've ever bought. Used this as my sole bag for 6 months on the road, it held up beyond my expectations and is the only bag I use now. It's carry-on size, and just swallows gear, whatever I'm doing, It'll all fit in there somehow.

I bought this to give extra storage while riding my motorcycle for a long distance. This bag give additional storage and keep my feat dry!

We just used this bag for the first time on a weekend snowboarding trip. I was a little concerned that we didn't buy a big enough bag, but was pleasantly surprised to get two people's worth of snow outerwear and gear in with room for the GoPro. The shoulder straps make for a great carrying option and the size of the medium bag was perfect for my 5'3" wife. I carried the large one with no trouble.

You can easily tell that the quality of the materials is superb. It is really well crafted. Regarding the size, I recommend to go to a store and take a look yourself. I bought the XL size and it I think it provides enough space for extended travel.

I used this for ski trip this past weekend and could not have been happier. There was plenty of space for my helmet and gear, snowpants, shoes and clothes for 2 days. Not to mention I was able to fit miscellaneous items in as well.

I bought one for myself, after I got this BASE CAMP DUFFEL. I also bought it for my gf. because I realize my gf would be love it. it has light weight, lots of capacity. Actually, I can put all stuff I want for long-weekend trips. its design is also really fascinating.

I plan to use this regularly on weekend trips and as a carry-on bag. Got wet on my last trip and there were no leaks and everything stayed nice and dry. The zippers are heavy duty. The circular zippered pockets on the end are awesome too, definitely worth it!
