Great bag. Super lightweight yet sturdy. Holds a lot of items, & the design is really cute.

A solid 28 liter bag for daily use while carrying a 15" laptop. For some one who is not worried about pockets(two zipper pockets, two open mesh side pockets). The main compartment with fleece laptop sleeve keeps laptop secure and does not move around(fairly tight at first but eases after laptop has been taken in and out) Tablet and accessories attached to front of laptop sleeve so everything is in one spot. Accessories pockets will hold cell phones, hard drives, or anything about those sizes, with a small zipper pocket for other small items. The main compartment leaves you with enough room for other daily items. Small external front zipper pocket is fleece lined and good for glasses and quick access. If there was some type of mesh paneling on the very front of the bag to add and additional pocket, this bag would be 5 stars. Comes with a pointless nylon hip belt strap but that can be taken off and does not get in the way. The few hook loops on the front add style to the bag and are handy to hook carabineers to. Not going to be the best bag for some one who carries too much daily or carries a lot of books(if so look at the Surge or Router Transit).

I use this backpack every day for college and it does not live up to my expectations. The first flaw is there are only two pockets. One small one for a phone and then one large one. There is no separate place to put a large calculator or any other large supplies. There is a laptop sleeve which works well and there are some other little places to put pens and pencils or a small notebook. These are all centered in the middle of the bag so it curves whatever notebooks are in the main pocket. Then the supply holder curves at the bottom as well. This bag was not made to hold notebooks or school materials. If you are looking for a school backpack this is not what you are looking for.
Having said that, this backpack is great for hiking, adventures, day trips, etc. The one big pocket can hold clothes, food, and supplies and is great for travel.

The only bag I have ever seen to put all the accessory pockets on the internal "frame"! This pocket structure situates the load closer to your body. Traditionally backpacks place accessory pockets on the outside of the pack making the pack feel saggy and unstable. Not too big not too small. Great shoulder straps. A simple pack for everyday use! More colors please

I've had it for over a year. Great backpack. Just enough room for day to day carry. I've used it on quick weekend get always. It's held up great. I do wish the bottom was a little flatter. I tends to fall over when I set it on the ground. My other work bag is the sling type. This one allows you to use both straps when on foot for awhile. I am a bigger guy. About 6" tall, 250 lbs. Athletic big shoulders and it works better then some of my smaller bags. It doesn't look too small. Holds a change of clothes and some essentials. They use to have a lot more color choices. I wish they had some tans, olive, or gray colors. It's like the smaller brother to the Surge backpack. Solid construction. Definitely recommend it.

I bought this backpack for my son starting university. It's a bit more than we would normally spend, but he loves it. He had to pay for some of it and he says it was worth it.

Very durable backpack. i packed it full for a 3 day trip and still felt light and comfortable to walk around with. I hiked with all of it too and didn’t slow me down. Back cushioning and straps felt very good.

This could be the perfect commuter backpack. It was very slim yet easily expandable. It has just the right amount of pockets and I love that the waste strap can be removed instead of just dangling down while not in use. Very comfortable and attractive piece. A+!

This is my daily work bag! Works great for holding my laptop, jacket and lunch. I will fill it up with groceries on the way home occasionally too. Interior pockets can be a bit tight if everything is filled up, but that's about the only con I can think of. Love the style & look of the bag, I went with black.

My first North face purchase for my son and I love this book bag. It doesn't look like it holds enough books, but it does! I love it!!

I use it riding my bike to work. I pack my lunch, coffee thermos, water bottle, and dress shoes inside of it. Sometimes my laptop also. I use it for shorter day hikes too, where I don't need too much supplies to bring. It it is supper lightweight and has great back support. I really like this pack!
