I have debated returning these. Although it’s the same style and size number as my old pair they fit a bit too big and wide. I like that they’re waterproof.

I love Keen but for me this hiker missed it on comfort. Hard foot bed, and slightly bigger (foot slides), after a day of hiking in, feet hurt.

I really wanted to keep these! These are the ones I wanted But The right heel slips and the arch on left shoe cut into my foot. So I went with the Keen Voyageur. I had these before and wore them forever until it was clearly time for a new pair of shoes!

I really wanted to like these but they were loose in some places and tight and uncomfortable in other places. They are very cute in person.

Ordered a 7.5 but they were too big and kept slipping off when I walked. Very wide heel had to return. Not sure if a smaller size would fit since the other Keen shoes I ordered, the Voyageur, were too short in a size 7.

This is my second pair of Targhee II hiking shoes. I loved my first pair which were the vent design. At the advice of the shoe saleswoman, I bought a half size larger and they felt wonderful. This new pair is waterproof and not as comfortable. My foot slides to the front no matter how tight I lace them, and my big toes become sore.

8.5 felt large all around. Keens no longer have any sort of insole with arch support. they are getting cheap. Also they smelled like new tires!

I really liked the look of these hiking shoes but they didn't feel quite right. The toe box was nice and wide but the shoes just didn't work for my feet. The shoe is NOT the problem. The neuropathy in both my feet IS the issue. It's hard when you have this condition because it gets worse over time and finding the right shoes to wear, well it's just really difficult. Sadly, I will have to send them back. I love ZAPPOS's though! Always the best service!

Same Keen shoe I've ordered in the past, but this pair felt very different. Even with a stronger arch support, the shoe felt too large. It was also very stiff and uncomfortable to walk in because of that.

This shoe does not run small like the listing says. The length was spot on for my normal size, and the heel was so wide that my (wide) foot slipped right out of it while walking.

I have worn the KEEN utility shoe for the past few years for everyday work wear. This particular model hurt my feet. The heel is higher on this shoe compared to other models of similar shoe. My foot slides to the front and puts a lot of pressure on the ball of my foot. It is like wearing a high heel shoe all day. Not good. I gave them a few weeks hoping they would break in, but they broke me. :) They look good though! Sharp looking. But unwearable without thinking about your feet all day long.

Unfortunately, Keen seems to have changed the footbed since my last pair of these. This shoe is far from the winners than my previous two pairs of Targhee II's were. The heel on the current model feels elevated compared to the toe -- sort of like a wedge heel -- which (for me) decreases the shoe's stability on Vermont's rough mountain terrain. Also, perhaps because the heel rides higher in the shoe, it's very hard to lace tightly enough to prevent the heel from slipping. Very sadly had to return these.

Much too large for my feet, and way too wide

The shoes are too big--I should have ordered a 7.5. I wore the size 8 outside twice to determine whether I could keep the shoes--and concluded that I won't be able to wear them and walk safely. Can I return them?

The fit is huge. If you purchase, try an entire size smaller.

These were very heavy and would not be good for my needs. I sent them back.

I so wanted to love this pair of Keen shoes. Have worn Keen casual shoes for years. Due to may foot issues, I need a wide/large toe box. Keen has always delivered. While these shoes were wide enough and had a big enough toe box, the tops of my toes were quite uncomfortable as I was unable to lift my toes up and down - at all. In the end, I went with Oboz.

Received my order today. The shoes were used and dirty, actually worn and muddied. Absolutely disgusting. Do not ever order from Zappos.

The shoes cut into my ankles on the outside, making them painful to wear.

Keens shoes are not what they used to be. I have a very difficult time find shoes that I can work in all day and Keen has been my go to shoe for many years. I have tried numerous styles and cannot find a single one that fits right. I'm giving up on Keen.

Disappointing. I guess that KEEN is mfg. their shoes in too many foreign countries. Shoes are inconsistent in size. One pair fits, the next one doesn't.

The shoe is VERY stiff, and the lacing system is ineffective. It was impossible to tighten the shoe near my ankle, so the shoe was constantly 'eating' my socks and pulling them down to my heel. The fit was as-expected - I ordered my normal size, and they technically fit correctly.
