Can't really give a fair review, since I received two right shoes.

I really liked these when I first bought them. I had returned a size 8 because they felt too big (wide) and allowed too much foot movement so I bought half size down. I wore them to Ireland recently and ended up with a severely bruised toe and nail bed and may lose the nail because of the friction caused by the shoe being a bit too short. Keen needs to get it right.

Tried both an 8 and a 7.5 because my heel slipped so much in the 8. Had the same problem with the 7.5.

This shoe was too hard to get on. I had to use a shoehorn. I wear a size 9 in shoes. My toes didn't have enough room. It wasn't tight, but with socks it was a little uncomfortable.

Comfortable enough once I got them on, but very difficult to get that far. I ordered something that I thought I could slip into fairly easily, but these required sitting down, using both hands and pulling hard while hurting the top of my foot. Sadly, they are going back, as I think they would have suited my purpose otherwise.

This review is critical and that's too bad because I really liked the shoe when I first saw it. The shoe is nice and wide with the famous rubber Keen toe. However, I received (no fault of Zappos!) two defectively-made pair of shoes that I had to exchange. The inner lining of both right shoes was creased. The crease would dig into the toes and rub uncomfortably. Also, the shoe was so badly mis-sewn that it felt crooked, warped and tight across the foot! I don't understand what has happened to Keen lately, but there have been too many problems with their products. I also found that the rubber sole wore down and several of the lugs completely wore off after only wearing the shoes twice. I don't understand what has happened to Keen lately, but there have been too many problems with their products. The concept of a winter shoe is an excellent idea and with improvement, this could be a terrific shoe. But with the defects and the time-consuming waste of processing returns, I cannot recommend them at this price point. You will definitely not get your money's worth.

I was looking for a slip-on shoe but these are actually really difficult to put on! I love Keen but this pair is not for me.

What has happened to Keen? I've loved my Keen boots and sandals over the years but this style is SO narrow! I used to be able to count on comfort for my wide feet but no longer.

Keen ~ what is going on with your designers and quality control ? Who would green light this product leaving the factory ? I could not even get my foot in the shoe.

I wish these had fit, but I couldn't even get my foot into it. I like Keens and have several other styles, but I clearly need a Keen with laces or a zip.

I was so excited about getting these shoes. I thought they would be great for the winter, and I had another pair of Keens which fit me perfectly. I felt my old Keens were great for a wide foot. When I received my Keens, I was unable to get my foot into the shoe!!!!!!!I do have a high instep, so not sure if that was the issue. Zappos was their usual wonderful, getting them here so fast, but, alas, I have to return them. I’m really not sure what would be comparable.

the opening of this shoe is so small I could not fit my foot in with a thin sock on. I finally squeezed them on without socks - but I don't want to go outdoors without socks in the winter! Very disappointed - returning them.

I am SO DEPRESSED over these shoes. I have used 3 pairs of these, and ultimately ordered a 4th pair. I kept trying them on and thinking they did not fit because my feet are so swollen. Ultimately, after months of trying them now and then, never getting them on at all, I am sadly sending them back. I am still able to wear the other 3 pairs, but one is falling apart, one is about to fall apart... I'm on my last pair, and it probably won't last long. I can't wear any shoes due to horrific problems with my knee, broken (and never detected) foot, and now numb feet, all due to car crash 10.5 years ago. These were the only shoes I could wear, and now these are no longer fitting! I am just full of despair. My 1 star rating links to my huge depression over not being able to order the only pair of shoes that I used to wear. In theory these were/are a 5.

Really because the opening is so tight I couldn't even get these on and didn't want to force it (although honestly I don't think that would have worked either.) I have a normal to high arch but nothing extreme.

I have been wearing keen shoes since the beginning and I am very disappointed in this pair! They stretched out pretty quickly and are not comfortable walking very far. I had hand surgery and needed something with no laces but BIG disappointment!
