These shoes are beautiful. The leather is so pretty and has that natural distressing that occurs over time. The shoe runs unusually small / narrow. I tried both the 9.5 and the 10 and neither were comfortable (I am normally a 9.5). I am going to try the wide fit instead (for reference, this will be the only wides I have ever ordered.)

I ordered several similar pair; these had the highest heel and the highest shank; I loved them the most. Looked great both with black ankle pants, longer pants and jeans.

Runs very narrow! Cute boot and the base is non-slip and comfortable but the show is ridiculously narrow. I never wear a wide and even that is too tight.

They are really nice shoes, but my forefoot is just too wide for these to be comfortable.

True to Timberland's style, these boots are durable and comfortable. Additionally, they are so cute! The brown already shows signs of wear (wrinkles in the toes mostly) but for me that adds to the charm. They are lightweight and very manageable heel height.

These boots slip on and are nice with long pants. My feet are wide in the front, but relatively narrow in heels/ankles. I ordered a wide and they were slightly snug in the front and loose in the heel. I will need to put inserts in the heel area to fix this. It's not the fault of the shoe maker, I just have an unusual foot.

These boots are comfortable and cute, but not very dressy or stylish. They are great casual boot for jeans, but I probably won't wear with dresses or skirts. The materials and manufacturing appear to be high quality. I've ordered and returned 8 pairs of boots this winter due to improper sizing, so I had my size checked again last week. I am still 11M, but I ordered 11W based on reviews for this boot. I was concerned that they may be hard to get on without a zipper, but much easier than expected. They do run narrow, so I'm glad they come in wide and I can keep these boots!

I live in NYC and walk 3 to 5 miles a day between commuting and running errands, so I'm always looking for comfortable and stylish shoes. This pair caught my eye because it seemed to meet my requirements and the price is right. I tried the 6.5 and the 6.5W - while the 6.5 fit just fine with tights and normal socks, they were definitely snug with thicker socks so I kept the 6.5W size. The heel height is great for me, I love that I can wear these with a dress without feeling frumpy and my feet don't hurt at the end of a very long day. The sole is perfect on dry surfaces which is a plus for me because I'm so clumsy, but it's still slippery on wet floors and icy sidewalks (duh) so this is not a true winter boot. The reason why I couldn't give this five stars is because of how stiff the whole boot is, especially the opening. The first two days of wearing them gave me light bruises on my shins where the opening of the shaft is! Since none of the other reviews mentioned it, I'm chalking it up to me bruising easily and maybe I walked too much when trying to break them in. Overall, these boots are fine and they are already my go-to boots for now. Also, shout out to Zappos customer service who dealt with my ordering mistake in the nicest, most understanding manner - thank you for being impeccable!

Very comfortable boot - fit was narrow so I'm glad I ordered the wide. Zappos was the only site I found that offered these in wide.

This is a classy well made shoe. I can dress it up or down and the leather is good quality. I look forward to wearing this shoe.

Cute boot, however, feels too tight in toe box area, and I ordered a wide. Hard to walk around in. Unfortunately, I will need to return them. Thanks to Zappos for great customer service and help in finding the perfect shoe!

Love the height. Very hard to get your foot in. Once in and broken in, much easier. Had to go a size bigger to get my foot in though. Feet hurt by end of day.

I was immediately disappointed upon opening this package. The shoes looked like they had been tried on one too many times. The inner stuffing for the shoes was haphazard at best, with one shoe missing its tissue paper. Sometimes I feel like shopping with Zappos is agreeing to live with refurbished shoes. On sizing: I am a true 6.5 with a slightly wide foot, so I ordered that size (6.5 W). The leather along the shaft looked a little too floppy, relying on the structured goring to keep it upright. It felt too worn and soft, but the experience inside the shoe was different. It was very stiff while not matching the outer shoe. The height of the heel pushed my toes right up against the toe box, so I should have ordered a 7. I will not do that however because the quality of this shoe was shocking to me. On quality: On one of the shoes, it looked as though one of the heels was partially melted (and not in an unnoticeable location, like the bottom of the shoe). I couldn't tell if this was a factory defect or a customer's decision, but either way -- how did this pass quality control?
