I finally retired my messenger bag after a dozen years and decided I wanted to go the backpack route. This is now my new daily work backpack, and weekend bag for short trips. Fantastic quality and I have no doubts about it's durability. Spend the extra money and get a custom one. Get your dream colors and fabrics because this will last years.

Just wanted to leave a review because I was really excited about this backpack. Originally I thought the hidden pocket was on the back so it would allow easy access and make it impossible for someone to pick pocket. One of the other reviewers said it apparently used to be that way but they changed it... Change it back please! I would buy it in a heartbeat. It's so hard to find a good bag with those kinds of hidden compartments in the back

I use this bag daily on my commute into the city. Between trains and buses I do not want to take up more space than necessary but also didn't want to sacrifice the amount of things I could fit into the bag too much so this was a perfect middle ground.

Love this bag! It is a bit oblong...but it definitely is a traveler's dream. want more colors!

I use my new custom Tuck Backpack for work and play. It has a lot of space for my laptop, notebooks, water bottle and others. It's very comfortable and fits perfectly. I wish the side pockets could stretch to fit larger water bottles or other items.

Just what I needed to safely transport my work laptop, files, lunch, workout clothes, etc. around this rainy town. Since it's not waterproof, I may experiment with a waterproof spray.

I use this to take art supplies between home and studio. This bag is a microcosm of my whole life. It's really cute as a part of an outfit.

Use this for work and it's great

I have been using this backpack for about a month and I am overall very pleased with it! It is very comfortable and just large enough to fit everything I need. I like that I could customize the design I chose a black backpack with a reflecting silver roll-top panel. I am happy with the look and I feel safer biking or walking in the dark now. I wish this backpack had a few more pockets though.

I carry a backpack everyday to work. It is not my first Timbuk2 product and it won't be my last. This backpack is lightweight and easily fits quite a bit without feeling weighed down. This is by far my favorite Timbuk2 purchase.

This is my favorite backpack. I've always purchased timbuk2 backpacks but I've always had a style like the authority and the Alcatraz. Since I cycle most of the time I need something that would easily slide into my pannier but was comfortable for my occasional walk. I love it and the reflective materials are fantastic. I am easily seen while waking after dark in winter. Plus it fits my laptop, day book, lunch, extra layers and my usual EDC (glasses, pen, notebook, gum, masks, etc.) With all that the roll too keeps it nice a sleek and smooth against my back. So comfortable. I trudged through knee deep snow without having it shift uncomfortably.

I bought this bag for my son. It is very convenience to take out the laptop. And the light weight of the fabric is more comfortable for a college student. He likes the design too.

I love it. I was VERY worried it'd be too big for me. I needed a one day business trip bag and I didn't feel like spending a fortune. The biggest must have was, it had to hold a 16" laptop. This does, easily. It doesn't present as a huge bag, though I'm sure I could pack it full. Usually its just holding my laptop, tech accessories and maybe an extra light sweater to change into. I went with the custom bag, as its only a little more. I did INK for the main body panels and went with WHITE water proof for the roll top. The contrast is nice when you have to move fast an put things away quickly.

Good quality bag. I'm happy with it. Easy to open and the zippers are smooth.

I love this bag. I use it to carry my laptop around for remote work and travel. It's nice and slim but can hold more than you expect.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift, he loves it so far! He initially wasn't super into the brand however the bag has been great for him. He can use it as he goes around the city, weekender and eventually on his bike. It holds a lot and has great compartments. Definitely happy with the purchase.

I use the backpack for everything now! I carry all my stuff in there with my laptop and an extra key board! It has tons of room!

I use this backpack for school in NYC. I love its durability and how it's able to weather the conditions I have to put it through. Through rain or snow and at times being thrown around it keeps my contents secured and in good keeping. I love the compartments it has to offer allowing me to keep organized easily. Above all I'm happy with the options in customization and was able to make it exactly how I'd want it. 10/10

High-quality material and construction, stylist urban design; a little more compact than I expected, but its expandable; not as many pockets/compartments as other backpacks. One zipper side compartment.
