I was heartbroken to discover that my favorite backpack was stolen from me. It was my very own timbuk2 bag. Only after I processed my grief did I begin to consider investing in another. I would save up a few buckaroos, and customize my new trusty comrade, who would be watching my back from now on. It was like any other Monday morning. Birds were out, the morning mist evaporated, and the L.A. smog rolled in and took its place. The only unusual thing that morning was the loud approach of a delivery truck that parked out front at my neighbor's usual spot. I paid no attention at first, for I was still in bed peeking out the window. "Don't be a chismoso", I could hear my grandma's voice in the back of my head nagging at me. That's what she would say when she was still alive. The loud thump that followed snapped me out of it and sparked my curiosity. I bolted up and darted to the door, and there it was, the package I had patiently been waiting for, for 2 long weeks. I thought they had forgotten about me, but I also knew that this wasn't any ordinary package. It was CUSTOM just 4 me, that traveled all the way from Mexico, so it had to take its time. I've never had anything custom made, and it was affordable. I didn't have to worry about eating cup of noodles for 2 weeks just to buy this bag. I brought the bag in, set in on the table, like a kid on Christmas morning I began to unwrap it. I was dumbfounded by the amazing craftsmanship. It felt as if it belonged in an art gallery for the world to praise. I was thankful for all the long hours and gifted hands that worked on this bag. For the next few days I loaded up my bag and put it to use. I took it on a bike ride, I went hiking, and I enjoyed a day at the beach. The simplicity and durability is truly top quality. In conclusion, this is the second timbuk2 bag I own. I would recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for practicality, aesthetics, and comfort. I'm using the backpack for work. I love it because it's durable plus spacious only it doesn't have a top pocket. But overall, it's perfect work and travel.

Very solid backpack that should last a long time. It's quite roomy and has sufficient pockets to carry along most everything one needs. I love the colors I chose for it. It's very attractive.

Nice backpack

I had this bag for 5 years now and it's still holding up well. I have travelled with it many times and has been able to carry alot fully stuffed and heavy but still holds up. Can be used to carry your laptop to work or travel.

This one is better than the one it replaced. That never happens anymore. Roll top instead of Velcro. Side pockets and laptop zipper. New favorite

Love my new backpack! So roomy, I can put my laptop and all my essentials for the office. The fact that I was able to customize the colors and textures was an added bonus.

I certainly would think twice about using this on a camping trip but that is not its intended use. For around town, a laptop, some shopping etc it is ideal.

I LOVE this backpack. I've been a Timbuk2 customer for years. This is by far the best backpack I've owned. I'm a city dweller and use it walking to and from work, grocery shopping, and even for overnight stays and weekend jaunts. I love the ample space for groceries or clothing/necessities for a weekend getaway. I love its simplicity. Could not be happier I chose this backpack.

Love the product and the ability to tailored. Just a couple of add on will make this bag perfect. One strap to secure water bottle in the side pockets. Zippers or Velcro to close the inside pockets in the laptop lining pockets. Besides that, I love this backpack

This bag will most likely be my carry on bag for travel as well as a work bag. It's so versatile and looks good.

Great bike commute bag. Clean design, but has a place for everything you need. Light weight, water repellent, perfect! This is my second bike commute bag from Timbuktu - the first lasted years.

I bought this bag as an everyday bag - I have a very busy lifestyle and needed a bag that would accommodate. I love the laptop zipper pouch, it makes my life so easy. I get compliments on my bag all of the time!

The backpack is functional and well made.

I'd like it if there were a chest strap.

I use this backpack primarily for work but absolutely plan on using it as my carry-on backpack when I travel. It's simple in design so it's hard to have a lot of clutter, which I love. It can easily fit my larger computer, multiple notepads and books, and my small lunchbox without feeling bulky on my back. I wish there was some way to better secure the side pockets, but they are deep enough to hold a water bottle without worrying too much about it falling out. Love that they have different color options!
