I was looking for a comfortable ballet flat; one with soft cushioned insoles, smooth interior linings, a comfortable fit and mildly attractive. The Clarks "Medora Nina" fit the bill! I ordered all three colors; black, dark brown and mushroom nubuck in size 9. Zappos delivered shoes in perfect condition via next day delivery. Ballet flats have always been a questionable purchase for me since I have medium width problematic feet with slight bunions, and plantar fasciitis coupled with extremely high arches. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Plenty of room in the toe box, wide enough to accommodate my bunions and no annoying stitching to rub against my tender skin. I love the added hook and loop strap around the ankle as it adds charm to the design. The black and brown exterior has a nice suede leather with a pebbled leather heel and strap while the mushroom is all suede. The bottoms/sole of the shoes are very durable black rubber. There is no visible arch support in the shoes; however, I will purchase some type of arch insert to alleviate that minor problem. The footbed is squishy soft which is a major plus since most ballet type shoes that I've tried are void of any type of cushioning. The shoes look super cute on and even though I have large calves, the ankle straps give the illusion of smaller ankles and calves which is an added bonus. Be wary of the strong chemical odor when opening the box. Airing them out before wearing would be highly recommended. To keep the suede looking good, I would also recommend a protective spray and a suede brush. Also, for those who need to know, these shoes are made in Nicaragua.

OMG, I just got these shoes in today (ordered black and tan ones)and I am on CLOUD NINE!! These are the most comfortable "cute" shoes I have ever had on my feet!!! Thank you, Zappos, for not giving up on mebecause of all the shoes I have ordered and then had to return because of one or more problems with comfort. These are divine and I hope Clark's will make them in more colors!!

Very cute and very comfortable. I usually wear a size 9.5M and they fit true to size. I have medium width flat feet and they fit great. Someone with narrow feet may find them a bit wide. I'm so happy to find a comfortable shoe I can wear all year. Zappos rocks!

I am torn about these shoes. On the one hand the bottoms are unbelievably comfortable and allow me to stand as a hair dresser all day without difficulty. On the other, it fits one foot perfectly and thought other it rubs around the front lip. I have never had difficulty fitting both feet with the same size so I am just going to ride out the discomfort and hope it stretches accordingly.

Very comfortable and cute. Well padded foot bed. Wore them to work right out of the box and they were comfortable all day. Got a bunch of compliments on them.

I've been wearing these shoes all day, and so far these definitely earn 5 stars. As someone with narrow feet, it's so rare I can wear a shoe right out of the box, without a break-in period involving blisters, sore feet, and general unhappiness. I can definitely recommend these as among the most comfortable shoes I've ever bought! I saw that some people mentioned they run a tad small....I wear a 9.5 and ordered a 10, and they fit great with no complaints.

Score! I wanted a neutral, comfortable shoe with an ankle strap to wear with skinny jeans. These work well . . . and they're under 100 bucks! Super comfy with a generous toe box, and these don't slip (despite my somewhat narrow heel). The mushroom nubuck is slightly taupe-y, which I like. Aesthetically, the ankle strap might be a little wide for some, but I like the retro, chunky feel it gives.

This shoe fit pretty well (yay! the heel wasn't too wide and didn't slip off my feet!!!), but the ankle strap was bulky and the overall look was unflattering on me. The shoe felt true to size and was very comfortable to walk in.

Good quality, comfortable shoe, and the strap, which can't be seen under pants, adds some stability. I wish it came in something other than nubuck as nubuck always seems so easy to stain/damage to me.

Such a soft and supportive footbed, I fell in love with them. They also look adorable on. But I was heartbroken that the toe box cuts across the top of my foot, a problem I have much too often with Clarks. If I wear these all day, my foot will look red and swollen along that line of the shoe. I love Clarks, but I have to buy elsewhere. This is a constant problem with the brand, it isn't made for a foot that is, not wide, but thicker bottom to top. I don't have this problem with other brands.

These are awesome shoes, top quality. The fit wasn't quite right for my very narrow feet (boo!). The cushioning is a dream, and the suede is quite lovely. Well priced for the quality.

These shoes are cute and comfortable. Walking, standing, driving--they are my new favorites.

Walked entire day in Seattle with first wearing! Super comfortable!

Fits well with maybe a little more room than I needed in the width. I have a slightly narrow foot. I like the ankle strap because it keeps everything in place. It closes with velcro and is a bit clunky but I'm tall and have long legs, so I can balance that out.

These are so great. I got them for a trip to Greece in March. It may not be sandal weather plus there will be ALOT of walking on cobblestones, rough terrain, etc. And people tend to step it up a notch in Europe I’ve found, so a comfortable skirt and flats are more appropriate than shorts and sneakers. These will be perfect, very soft but supportive foot bed, the strap adds stability, looks super cute, and is smooth enough with Velcro to not rub at all. Can easily go from jeans to a dress. Got them for my daughter too, for a college interview, plus they’ll be great just day to day for college.

These just didn't make me feel as sassy as I was hoping, so I am returning them. Maybe the ankle strap is too bulky?

I am in love with the Medora bottom from Clarks. My toes have plenty of room, the perfect toebox shape. It's like it was made fore my foot. I really like how they look on my size 12 foot, they actually minimize my long foot. So very comfortable too. I was concerned about the ankle strap and if that would be uncomfortable but after 10 minutes of having them on I was sold. I am going to be buying more of the Medora collection for sure! I'm happy I found super comfortable and cute shoes in my size! Thank you Zappos and thank you Clarks for offering such a great selection of footwear in size 12!

They are a little loose, not a full half size big but full for the size. The ankle strap was enough so that they stayed securely on my feet all day. I plan to order them in another color. They were very comfortable. I like the thicker sole with the slight wedge and the Nubuck was soft and nice looking.

Adorable, comfortable shoe. Loved the footbed, and the strap was not bothersome for the brief periods I wore the shoe inside. However, I am returning these Clarks, because I think the wide ankle strap style is unflattering on my small, short frame.

These shoes are perfectly adorable. They are extremely comfortable and will be perfect to wear this fall.
