My boyfriend has had the male ballad for over 2 years. He wears them almost every day and all year round. He recommends them to everyone. When the female version was produced, I knew I would have to get a pair. They are amazing! The shoe is very light weight, stylish, and confartavle. The ice pik sole and quilted insulation makes these shoes the best in colder weather. I am obsessed with them and recommend them to everyone.

These are SO neat. By far my favorite hiking boots I've ever owned. Definitely need to be broken in, but I wore them around for 2 days and they were golden. Highly recommend!

I'm the pickiest person when it comes to boots. It takes me forever to find a pair I like style wise and comfort wise. I bought the canvas version of these boots in a green color and became instently obsessed. I ordered these in the coffee color and was equally as pleased. I love these boots so much!! They are cute, comfortable, and seem like they will last. I also get a lot of compliments on them. I've basically lived in these shoes traveling. Another perfect purchase from North Face.

It doesn't take long to break them in and they look and feel great. I love them.

I am very much pleased with my purchase of these boots. They have very clean look and are comfortable for walking in. I like that I can wear them with thick or thin socks. Don't expect them to be smooth when they arrive because they are textured. I am fine with this, and the brown color is perfect.

I bought the Women's Ballard Lace II Boots and just love them! They're comfortable, durable, stylish and I wear them all the time! I bought a 1/2 size larger than I usually wear so that I could wear thick socks with them to help keep my feet warm and the boots are very cozy and comfortable with thin or thick socks! I recently wore them from about 12 hours straight while traveling and didn't even realize I wore them that long until I took them off at the end of the day! I highly recommend the boots, they're awesome.

I love everything about these boots. They're comfortable, waterproof, durable and go with everything. Great for travel and warm but don't overheat my feet. I have them in two colors. One pair is nice and worn in and has been everywhere from camping to Ireland. The second pair I just got on sale, because I could. In a zombie apocalypse, these would be my boots.

I looked for months for a pair of boots to replace a pair I have worn for more than ten years. I explored all the obvious brands and tried on many boots. I came back in the end to North Face and am glad I did. I should mention that the salesman in the Seattle store was friendly and extremely quick to the get the order completed.

I was looking for a boot to wear everyday. These are warm and stylish. I wear between a 9.5 and 10 and I got a 10. They are comfortable to walk in. Would definitely buy again.

These boots are very comfortable and keep my toes nice and warm! I am a preschool teacher so I wanted a pair of boots that looked cute as well as be comfortable enough to wear all day but would also keep me safe when we played outside in the snow and rain. I am very happy < 3

I bought these for a trip to Portland/Seattle. I wanted something that would handle the rain and be very comfortable. These are perfect! Kept my feet warm and dry and handled lots of walking. Very stylish as well. I'm thinking about buying the other color too since I love them that much. These will definitely be my go to boots from now on.

I adore these boots. So very comfortable and fit perfect! I was not disappointed at all. I used leather honey conditioner on them.

These boots are awesome. I wear them in my day to day life and they keep my feet warm and are comfortable to walk in. My only problem was tightness on the instep but I ordered half a size larger than my normal and they fit perfectly.

Bought these for my wife for Christmas she loved them!! I got them a half size smaller than her regular shoe size as boots tend to run larger. Should last her forever
