Some Good things about these boots: Lightweight, easy on/off, stylish look with skinny jeans and leggings, and pretty warm BUT...The buttons pop off quite easily! Lost 1 button the very first time I wore these and another button popped off a week later. Also, they have very little arch support. Feels more like wearing a slipper than a boot, not enough support for walking or outdoor activity. Sorry to say I'll be returning these because they did not hold up to normal wear after only the first week!

These boots are everything!!!! I returned a pair of Sorel Joan of Artic boots for these and couldn't be happier with my decision. The other boots were super bulky, heavy and extremely hard to get on. These boots are light as a feather, have awesome traction and keep your get toasty and dry. Thank you North Face for yet again providing a superior product and thank you Zappos for shipping these so fast. I'm beyond happy with my purchase!

I actually bought this boot from Macys, but wanted to leave a review on this site because I visit it more. I LOVE this boot, BUT I JUST CAN'T WEAR IT. I really needed a 6 1/2!! At first I ordered the 7, TOO Big. and then I ordered the 6, just right, but not enough room for warm socks or more room for your feet in case they swell from hiking, which is what I bought them for. So, if you fit their EXACT whole sizes, this shoe is for you, but if not, don't bother. So sad Northface doesn't make half sizes because this boot is such a great design and so unique looking. LOVE the fact that it buttoned down and up, so it can be worn as a mid-calf and as a bootie. But damn! I had to return mine each time.

This is a great boot! You can wear it rolled down for a different look. I normally wear an 8.5 in shoes, so I thought a 9 would be plenty but it was too short. I ordered the 10 and it was perfect. I was afraid a 10 would look huge, but it doesn't. The boot works well on a cold rainy day as well as the snow.

I have wider than average calves, not that easy to find boots that fit. What I like about Zappos is that they give you all necessary information so you can make good informed decision. These boots come in 14" circumference. My left calf (the bigger one) measures 14.5". Since the top of the boot doesn't come up to the fullest part of my calf, it works out so perfectly. I can even wear heavy fleeced leggings and they fit. These boots are good looking, not to mention comfortable. Not a whole lot of arch support, but adequate. And so light weight!

I LOVE this boot - it feels like you're wearing slippers. It is so comfortable! However, because they aren't made in half sizes, I can't wear these boots :( I'm a 7.5 and an 8 was just way too large.

5-STAR RATED! I just received my ThermoBall Button Ups. The moment I put them on I knew they were a keeper. They are amazingly warm and sooooo comfortable. They are comfortable like UGGs (shout out - love my UGGs) but they are very sturdy and rugged. They are cute and stylish. Cant say enough about them you have to try them. Be aware there is little to no arch support but the insole is removable and I replaced it with an orthotic insole like I do in all my shoes. These shoes are 5-star for sure! LOVE THEM!

The most comfortable boots I ever bought!! Good warmth for CT winter! I wear size 7 shoes, 7.5 boots and someone wrote on the review that should order the next size and it’s perfect! (Thank you reviewer!!)

I love this boot. It's warm and comfy. My feet have never gotten wet in a Chicago winter-just don't submerge in puddles!

Very nice, light weight, warm boot. This is my first North Face purchase and i LOVE these boots. Warm without the bulk. Good boots for Michigan Winter.

Cute boots with a cool ski boot kind of vibe. I’m not sure I’m a fan of the button closures on the side. Makes it a little cumbersome to take them on and off. But the real dealbreaker was the total lack of arch support. I have high arches so I think my feet would start to hurt if I had to walk very far in these. The search continues...

I just got these boots in and I am so disappointed that they are too small. I wear an 11 and my toe is slammed up to the front. Sadly they also do not make this boot in a half size up or a 12.

I am a size 9 in most shoes and boots, but the 9 in this boot was too small. The 10 fit perfectly and allowed for warm socks. These were very warm! I was with a group complaining how their feet were cold on a recent ski trip around 25 degrees outside and windy. They are easy to pull on and off. I didn't really need to unbutton them, so not sure about the complaint about the buttons popping off. These are extremely comfortable! Like someone else on here, I returned the Joan of Arctic boot for being so bulky and heavy. This boot is the opposite. It's lightweight, but durable. I didn't spend hours hiking in them or anything rigorous, so I can't speak to arch support, however, that is not usually an issue for me in any shoes. I only gave them 4 stars for style, because I don't love the quilted look. I ordered the grey and they are a silvery grey that are prettier in person and looked cute with my white ski pants. They also seem functional for winter days, not just ski trips which is another reason I gave them an overall of 5 stars. Other brands seem a little too intense and clunky and not feminine. Overall, I loved them.

Ordered these for my 11 yr old daughter. She wears size 7-7.5 women's and sometimes needs a wide width. Started with a size 7, but had to exchange for size 8. Go up if you are a half size or need a more accommodating width! Really attractive on her, warm and stylish, looks great with jeans or leggings. Mom & extremely picky tween daughter both happy with this purchase!

These were comfy from the second I put them on. Very lightweight. I have been wearing Sorel’s for the past few years which are very heavy and clunky. These are the opposite. Can’t wait for a cold day to wear them! Sizing was right on. Same size I order in all my shoes.

Really love the comfort and look of these boots. Looking for something to wear in the deeper snow other than Uggs. Love how light weight these boots are. They are very comfy.

I love the height of the boot and the look. I haven’t worn them yet but I think o might add a shoe cushion insole seems a little too hard on the bottom but I still would recommend.

These are truly the best boots I've ever purchased! I bought them for Minnesota winters when I want to look a bit more stylish than ordinary boots, and for a volunteer gig that would have me on my feet for three long days outside. I ended up wearing them much more than I thought, and even wore them for full work days (with leggings and a sweater or sweatshirt dress). (Although perhaps winter boots indoors are more acceptable in Minnesota than other places.) They were great for my long outdoor events too. I will buy them in more colors this winter if they offer them.
