I had to return these boots. I always wear a size 9, and these felt more like a size 8 1/2 with thin socks. Also weirdly, the back of the left boot was digging into my heel which has never happened before with any shoe. I hope North Face brings back the lightweight pair I had bought a few years ago which felt amazing.

I'm used to the North Face boot, every year since 4 years I buy a pair of MEN'S THERMOBALLT BOOTIE . This year I find that the bootie was significantly shorter than the previous years, so I tried something else.
Alas, the WOMEN'S THERMOBALL BUTTON-UP BOOTS are cold. When I say cold, I mean 10 minutes at minus 10 is too cold even with two pair of socks. I had to buy heated insoles! They are slippery, not like shows slippery, but certainly more than the terminal bootie for men, and they are super flat on the Inside, meaning they aren't comfortable enough to walk for a long time. Anyway, they are cold, so I can't imagine someone who would want to walk with it.
I'm really disappointed this time, being used to the high quality of my other pairs.
The only reason I stick with them is because I do not have the budget to buy something else. I've had them for 3 months now, trying to convince myself I was difficult. I'm unfortunately not.
Maybe I'm just being unlucky to have a bad pair. Hope you check the issue for next year!
