Very comfortable! Easy slip on and off. Perfect boot for my trip to the snow & cabin

I recently moved to NC from south GA and needed a pair of boots to keep my feet warm during the winter even when walking in the snow. These boots are aesthetically pleasing, warm, and very light. Most other winter boots I tried were heavy and clunky. They are a bit loose around my lower leg/ankles even with the laces tightened, and the sole of the shoe is a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully with time the soles will wear-in and I will be able to wear them with no discomfort. Overall, it is a good basic winter boot.

I bought a pair of North Face hiking boots in 1970. I used them to hike in all kinds of weather. I replaced the soles and laces many times. The leather was still good but the footbed was starting to break down. I literally just hung them up for the final time last spring!!! This is the absolute truth. I don't expect these to last that long but I have to say they are light weight and seem very well made and warm. They do run small so order at least a size up. They are so comfortable that they feel almost as "cushy" as a gym shoe. I wear a narrow and have not been able to find a snow boot in narrow so thick wool socks are a must. I'm very curious to see how many years these will last!

This is a good snow boot but I found it ran a half size large, even with thick socks, so I returned the 10 and ordered the 9 1/2. Good value, especially at this new sale price!!

Boots are comfortable and do generally ok but big piles of snow (as the Midwest is getting this winter) are hard for these boots. If you have to find your way out of big snow, you'get Wet through the laces area. They are ok for moderate snow conditions.

Wanted to like these boots, but the color was a bit off from my computer picture. Not as rich of a blue - more cheap looking, in my opinion, so I returned them.

I ordered in 2 different sizes and just didn't like the fit. I walk my dogs all the time in boots and I didn't think they were that comfortable in the house. I liked the top suede portion of boot but the bottom just looked like a big piece of brown rubber to me. I also have really high arches and I didn't feel like there was enough support. I guess I'll have to buy another pair of Uggs - was hoping to get off cheaper.

They are OK for boots to throw on for dog walks or quick trips out. But NOT warm for colder days or longer periods out in the snow and cold. They also feel a bit big: I wear a size 7 and that is what I bought and they feel a tad too big, partly because the lacing does not get them cinched up quite enough and the ankle feels big. Aside from that, they are pretty darn comfortable and I would recommend them - especially if on sale - just for easy boots to pull on that are decently comfortable and keep your feet dry.

Just what I wanted to replace my Sorel, but not as warm, surprised for being North Face. Need to wear warm socks for the Chicago winter.

These look nice and fit well. I liked that they were not as heavy as other snow boots, but they also seemed too thin. I didn’t feel they would be warm enough for my needs.

These are cute boots. I almost decided to keep them because I was looking for a winter boot to keep my feet warm and dry and the reviews were good. I usually wear a 9-9.5 and in boots, I've typically gotten a 10. These felt a little big and were wide in the heels. They did not have much arch support and when I took the insole out, it was a thicker insole so my typical arch supports wouldn't have been thick enough to exchange out. I really wanted to test them out, so in the 30 degree weather, I decided to take a drive in my warm car and my feet were not overly warm even though a foot heater was on and I did not leave the car. This really made me question how warm these boots would be if I actually wore them outside in the cold and snow. Maybe if I got them in a half size smaller, they would keep my feet warmer, but not too confident. Because of that, I'll be sending these boots back as I really want a pair that will keep my feet dry AND warm.

These boots will be good for out shopping and running errands on snowy days because they are not warm, my feet won't sweat, but they will keep my feet dry. They are definitely not meant to keep your feet warm. They need arch support!!!

I love the look of this boot, buuuuuuut I wish this boot was a better fit around the ankle. I'm looking for a multi-purpose snow boot for snow play, snowshoeing, around-the-town, & apres-ski hand-in-the-chalet kind of functions. The boots have the heel ledge for snowshoe clips, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the boot has a HUGE gap from the front of the lower shin to the top of the foot, so the ankle is in no way secured. No amount of cranking on the laces could bring the boot in for a snug fit. Back to the store they go!

Very disappointed with this North Face project. Not weather proof. Wore to work after snow storm(I work a desk job) and my feet were drenched from a 20 foot walk across parking lot after snowy day.

I bought these to replace my old chilkats that I had for years and absolutely loved. I cannot believe how polar opposite I feel about these boots. They have absolutely no structure or support to the entire upper. My ankles are hurting so bad after playing in the snow with the kids. They are not appropriate for snowshoeing (despite being marketed towards winter sports) Would love to return but bought last season and didn't take them out until now :(

So disappointed in these! One shoe was defective (the lining was bunched up by mistake when it was glued down so it was poking my toes). Even if the quality had been acceptable, the lining felt cheap. My kids’ $30 boots were lined with nicer fabric. Sent them back.

I purchased this boot last season (Autumn '17) as a boot easy to slip on/off in the winter. Context: I live in Chicago & walk to work so I wanted a boot to keep my feet dry and warm in the heavy snow/slush/wind/freezing temps. This boot does the job of 1) keeping my feet dry and 2) being able to slip on and off--this is where its benefits end. I find the soles of the shoe/foot bed to be extremely hard and uncomfortable-feeling, which is bothersome on a twice-daily walking commute. I wore the shoes on my thirteen minute commute twice a day, five days a week, from December-March, hoping the hard and uncomfortable foot bed would somehow 'break in,' but it never happened. I did not have unrealistic expectations about the comfort of these shoes--I realize they are winter boots and as such will inherently tend to be a bit bulky. However, given the price and the brand of this product, I was not expecting consistent discomfort. Additionally, I find these shoes do not keep my feet warm--when I am not walking and am sitting down on the train, my feet would feel very cold while wearing these shoes, even while wearing thick wool socks in the winter. Do note: the fuzzy-looking inner material shown around the inner ankle of the boot in the picture does not extend much farther down the inner ankle, and the inside of the shoe is not fully lined with that material. I do not experience these shoes to have good insulation, a degree of which I was expecting because they are sold/marketed as a cold weather shoe. I am really disappointed in these boots because I specifically sought out North Face boots because of what I believed to be the reliability of the brand.

I bought these for canadian winter .. My toes were all frozen at - 8. Waste of money. The sole is all rubber and not warm. If you have lot of snow please avoid them.
