These are a winter snow boot for clearing the driveway with a snowblower as well as the constant bringing firewood up to the house. My only issue is that I seem to fall between sizes. I tried these on for size at a store and decided some extra space inside was better than being cramped.

I live and work in Yosemite National Park, where we are having a lot of snow. These boots are awesome in the snow.

Bought one pair for dress and one pair for work. They are very warm and comfortable. They seem to be holding up well at work. I would buy them again!!

I picked up these boots at a great price and I have not been disappointed. With the 200g grams of insulation they're obviously not going to be as warm as Sorel or some other brands, but they're not far off. I've worn them hiking and snowshoeing in Labrador and they've been comfortable and warm every time. I was able to try a pair on prior to purchase so I knew that the 10.5 would be perfect (I usually wear a 9.5-10) so definitely order a size up if you're looking to wear any type of sock while wearing these.

This is my second pair of TNF winter boots. The first pair kept my feet warm for a good ten years. I wouldn't consider anything else when heading off to the mountains.

I'm using this as my winter boots here in Utah, they are really good at keeping my feet warm. I also use them when I go out snowshoeing and they are super comfortable.

Perfect. I walked through two feet of snow, couldn't feel a thing. Don't use the size comparison chart though, if you wear 10.5 in Vans, get these in 10.5! The chart tells you a size smaller and I had to send them back.

I bought this shoes for my husband. This shoes is lightweight which is important to him. What i dont like is it kinda looks bulky. But, he loves it. Thats what matter

Overall great boot. Blackened Pearl version is definitely purple and my wife said they look like women's boots. Returned for Black Version.

This boot is exceedingly warm and a perfect hight for winter snow storms. Deep snow will require gaiters but this boot will be great on its own for anything less than a foot and a half of snow. The two draw backs of this boot so far are; the insulation while warm feels a bit cheap and the fabric over the insulation is loose. I worry this will lead the inert part of the boot to wear out more quickly than it should and much more quickly than the rest of the boot, which seems to be built to last. The second issue is that the upper is very stiff, almost like a snowboard boot. this may be ideal for some people based on preference but for me, I would prefer a wider range of motion. Aside from those two things which, admittedly, may both end up being less of an issue than it currently seems, I am very happy with the warmth and water proof aspects of these boots.

Despite being very comfortable, I returned the product due to defects in the manufacturing of the boots. It was made very sloppily and had detects in the adjoining if the material/seams if the boots. Look closely!

Odd that NorthFace does not offer a wider width thru Zappos than D. Go 1/2 size up if wider width needed.

I like the slip on style, but those were (for whatever reason discontinued or not available). I saw these and decided to give them a try. The laces are quick and I'm able to tighten without lace loosening up. Snug feel, I ordered 1/2 size bigger (due to others recommendations)...they feel good and comfortable...have yet to test in extreme conditions. They were such a great price I had to jump on deal early

Great boots that are good for what they are, winter boots that provide decent warmth and good grip. They won't do for that summit of everest or make the trek to the south pole, but they are good for when temperatures dip and the ground gets snowy/icy/slushy. The fit is a bit tight due to the insulation, and if you plan on wearing thick socks I recommend going up at least a half size, maybe a full size.

These boots were a warranty replacement for a previous version of the Chilkat. In my earlier model, the rubber to box separated from the leather upper on the seam across my forefoot. The construction of these boots seems to have solve that problem. After my first two seatings, I found them more comfortable in the footbed and in the upper.

Suggest move up one half size from your regular shoe size. I had tried a Chilkat 4 a whole size larger than my regular shoe and width still seemed too tight. Theses fit much better, seem warm enough to use snow shoeing and walking in snow. So far water proof, comfortable and warm plus look pretty good for winter boots

Good boot to walk through snow/wet conditions. Kept my foot warm and dry. Boot is a bit hard on the sole, but I think after a few uses it will give and be more comfortable.

Boot runs big on the top of the foot. I added an insole addition to the stock one and then fit perfect.

Really convenient for rain, but I wouldn't recommend extended use of this product. Honestly, they're much too heavy for me.
