I have bought Frye Sienna's before and loved them. I bought this as a work shoe and I kept it for 4 days on my counter before deciding I had to return it. It fit well (maybe slightly big since I'm usually 9.5-10 and the 9.5 slipped a little around the heel) but I think given the black sole in addition to the black leather, it felt a little plain and I returned it in favor of something with a little more flair for work.

I bought them in a 7--my normal size but they were a tad too big. Easy exchange done for a 6.5 and they fit much better. I realized my feet are two different sizes so the right shoe gave me a blister on the back of my foot and they do squeeze a little on the big toe joint. I think the leather will stretch enough to accommodate--at least I hope so because these were certainly not cheap. I was looking for a good quality, comfortable, pair of pointy toe black flats. These seem to fit the bill for the most part so far. I am hoping they get more comfortable after a break in period.

These shoes are so pretty, elegant, and seem so well made. Unfortunately the Frye ballet-style shoes seem to be too big for me in the heel, in both the Sienna and the Carson Ballet, my heel slips right out. I sized down a half size and same problem. I might try to go down to a full size smaller and see if that fixes it. I gave 3 stars for Comfort because I couldn't walk in these without a lot of effort to keep them on my feet.

I really liked the look of these shoes and wanted them to work so bad I tried them in a 7.5 (too big!) and a 7 (too small!). I am pretty consistently a 7.5 in other brands, but found that was too big with these Sienna Ballets. I have a just-slightly-wider-than normal toe box, but I didn't feel that these were too tight. The midnight metallic color was very pretty and a snazzy neutral that I could see wearing with a lot of different outfits. I wish they worked!

These are beautiful shoes. The charcoal is gorgeous. The sizing is a problem for my feet. I have another pair in a different color and they worked out fine. If you like Frye, these won’t disappoint.

I love these shoes, the charcoal color is a nice neutral that is dark enough for black jeans but isn’t too dark to overpower colored jeans/navys. A very classic shoe and I love the pointed toe! It feels less casual than a round toe, in a chic way! For those looking for a slightly roomier shoe, try Born, those were incredibly comfortable and featured more cushioning, but round toed. I kept both!

I purchased these flats in black about a month ago and recently decided to wear them to work after exchanging my initial purchase for a half size larger. The shoes are soft and fit my feet well EXCEPT for the one issue that seems to be the most common complaint. The shoes do dig into your heels badly and although I didn't get blisters the first time I wore them, the discomfort on my heels made me not want to wear them again. I bought heel grips after remembering that was suggested from another review and it helped tremendously. I would suggest trying that before completely deciding not to wear these shoes again.

The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars is that they took longer to break in than my other Frye flats, and cut my heels a bit in the process. Now that they are broken in, though, I love them and wear them almost daily to work. They're comfortable but stylish and the pointed to maked them look a little sharper than the typical ballet flat.

I have these in the blue suede which is apparently no longer available (from a year ago). I love them so much! They are so pointy and can easily be dressed up. Don't know about y'all... but rounded toe flats just seem so little girl to me, so I am glad to have found an easy flat which doesn't make me look like frumpy like most others. The heel is INCREDIBLY painful to break in, but I just bought some heel grips after the first wear. No break-in required after that. I bought a half size up from usual.

Beautiful shoes, but unfortunately I sized up to an 11 and they are too big. Perhaps because I have a narrow, low volume foot, I am better off going with my normal size. The cement is a beautiful gray tending towards slightly taupe. I ended up getting the Carson instead, in a 10, which fits perfectly for me - ever so slightly loose without any gapping. The leather soles are slippery, as expected so plan on taking some measures to prevent injury!

Very cute, obviously high quality shoes. However, the toe box was much too small and they were uncomfortable to walk in. I felt like they were falling off my feet.

I bought this shoe in gray and in black as a replacement for a much more expensive designer shoe that had worn out. My only complaint is that the top edge of the back of the shoe rubs my heel. I bought foam padded inserts today and that fixed the problem and made the fit more perfect too!

Cute and versatile. I wear them to work and out in the evenings. But why oh why do shoemakers not understand that shoe edges, where they meet the skin, should be soft not hard and sharp? I have to wear band-aids on my achilles every time I wear them. C'mon Frye (and others)! Hard leather edges against the skin HURT!

Bought these for a job interview - I'm 6' and didn't want anything with a heel. They are comfortable and chic - fit to size

I am very happy with these flats. They are exactly what I was looking for and fit well. The only down side was that the leather is rather stiff, which means I am still working on breaking them in (and they caused blisters).

The fit was okay, but the quality was not what I was expecting from Frye. The left shoe was not as polished as the right shoe. For the price, I was expecting a nicer looking shoe.

I have these in brown and back. I bought them to wear for work and play. I went half a size up from my normal size. I have had these for over three months now. I am still having a hard time breaking these in. I cannot wait to take these off after even just a few hours of wear. They are just the look I was going for but not quite the right fit for me.

I REALLY wanted to LOVE this shoe!! It’s beautiful in both shape and color. Very classic and versatile. HOWEVER, it made my toes feel like the bones are truly fractured (for days)! I’d say my feet are pretty “normal” in that I don’t usually have many issues except if the back part (like in Adidas sneakers) are too high and scrapes. My width is relatively “normal”. In these flats my heels lift, and toes are severely squished (which was mentioned in other reviews, however I ignored them). The same size shoe in J.Crew fit perfectly and was comfortable throughout the day. These cost more, and were a disappointment.

The fit on this shoe was all over the map. I have a shallow, narrow foot with a low arch. The 8M in this shoe fit like an 8N or even an 8AAA and was--I thought--just a smidge too short for me. The 8.5 should've fit perfectly but one that I ordered and returned fit as though it had been stretched in length and width compared to the same shoe in a different color that retained the slender profile but fit my foot like it was a size too long. The leather on this shoe is butter soft but the top of the shoe looks to be glued to the sole. Not the quality you might expect in a Frye product. If you are able to settle on a size that fits you, I don't think you'll be disappointed but otherwise the shoe is pretty underwhelming for the price.

Love these flats! Very comfortable and have a nice professional look. I ordered two pairs in 9.5. Once pair fit ok, and the other was at least one size too big. Suggest ordering down 1/2 size from what you normally wear in frye.

I ordered my regular size and it was too karge(I couldn’t hold the shoe on my foot). I returned that and ordered a half size smaller, and this was too short (hurt to walk in). So this pair went back also. Really strange as I own the sling back of this shoe in my regular size and it fits perfectly.

I got my usual Frye size 8. I am used to wearing pointed flats but these ones were just plain uncomfortable - they would fit at the toe but I felt like they did not hold my feet well and it seemed that a smaller size would be too small.

I have consistently worn size 6 in this kind of shoe for the past 5 years. The six 6 in this shoe was so big I could not hold them on my feet. I asked to return them (and Zappo's customer service is WONDERSFUL!) and ordered the next half size down. These were way too short, so I need to send them back too. So sorry because these are beautiful shoes!

This is a beautiful shoe, well made, elegant, only super super narrow!! I am a very true to size 8.5, and my feet arent even THAT wide.. these fit me in length, but would’ve needed much much more room in width. Sadly, I’ve started wearing them, hoping to break them in enough, but they don’t seem to give much! I wish this suede was more flexible. It is, however, very soft, so I stay hopeful.
