These are great snow boots and are true to size. For me they are slightly narrow, but still happily wearing them.

Seemed well made and warm and the fit was good. I'm 11.5M and I got the 12. It's a little challenging to get in and out of so didn't work for me as an everyday kind of winter boot. Also it was a little boring in black with a kind of dark grey "fur" compared to the Joan of Arc and didn't have the removable liner. I returned it and bought the Sorel Tivoli, shorter with easy on off and great style.

So far I'm loving these boots! They are very warm and will definitely help during the winter when I walk to work. I read the online reviews and most people wrote they ordered a 1/2 size up so they can wear thicker socks. I don't know why I listened there's no need for thicker socks because the boots are already so warm! I wear a 7 1/2 and the 8 I ordered are too big. I tried thicker socks, and they're still too big. I say if you're a certain size in most/all of your shoes, stick with your true size. I also have slightly thicker calves and these hit at the perfect spot where they are not tight, they are actually flattering. Highly recommend these boots!

These are beautiful boots. I have always sized up half a size in Sorel and these were no exception. Although they are not as warm as the Joan of Arctic, they are lower profile and lighter, which is nice because I walk a ton. I have found them to be quite comfortable and warm regardless of the lower profile. I love the camp pattern: they are so cool and I receive compliments each time I wear them. I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend this boot to anyone looking for something a little sleeker than the Joan of Arctic or other, heavier boots.

I had ordered the joan of arc boots by sorel and didn't like them at all - they were too big and clunky around the foot. These boots were just what I was looking for - stylish and sleeker around the foot part and light and warm. They feel like I could walk for miles in them. I ordered a 1/2 size up because all reviews say these boots run small and narrow. I felt they fit pretty true to size but will keep the 1/2 size up for thicker socks, still have plenty of room.

Good fit and size, and they look nice. The back along the ankle and calf is comfortable but stiff so far--apparently I lead with my toe going down stairs and that is not possible in these, it forces leading with my heel.

My first thought after pulling this out of the box was "Uh-oh. This is really narrow looking." I have slightly wide feet -- not wide enough to order wide shoes, but wide enough to have trouble with regular widths on occasion. Anyway, to my surprise, they went right on and didn't feel narrow at all. Super slick looking, trendy boot. The shaft seems just a little short to be an actual snow boot for my use. SUPER-easy to lace (unlike many others I've tried). Toe almost feels like there could be a steel-toe in there, as stiff as it is. Lightly padded footbed, NO arch support. Really like these boots, but I'm afraid they might not be warm enough or quite tall enough for real snow. Seem like more of a fashion snow boot for walking through the city, instead of trudging through unplowed driveways here in MN. Especially at the price. Not spending that on a fashion choice. Woe is me. Guess these are going back.

They aren't true to size. I found the toe box painfully small when I purchased what should have been the correct size. Have since purchased a pair that is one size larger and they are much more comfortable.

These rain boots are cute and run a little big so they are roomy. I usually wear 8s but I think I could of fit in a 7.5. They say these are rain boots but idk how the fur will be in the rain

These boots are very comfortable. Can wear them all afternoon walking/shopping. True to size - i use a regular sock but also enough room for a thicker sock if colder outside. They are stylish and warm!

Really happy with these boots. Theyre taking care of my warm and dry winter needs well. Functionality and style, both. I needed a half size larger, 10 because 9 1/2 was not enough room for me in this boot. My footing contact to the ice or snow is good. The exchange and refund went very well and wasnt too long to wait at all.

LOVE these boots, the stylish addition of magenta on the laces and sole makes them stand out and I love it. They are super warm, but I am always a true 6.5 in size and my toes hit the front of these when I got the 6.5. Had to return for a 7. Other than that they are great!

I loved these boots at first. And I still think they are pretty nice to slip on at first but I have grown disenchanted with the way the tall back is starting to scrunch down on the back of my ankles usually rubbing a blister or two. I do walk a lot in them, maybe 2-3 miles at a time. I just think these boots are not that suited to strenuous snow hiking like do everyday in the woods. They are decently warm down to about 0 with a normal pair of wool socks, are light weight and stylish but also a bit thin-soled. I can easily feel every rock and there isn't a lot of support or cushion to the insole. Also, I can't drive that well in them--too much fabric to bend ankle much on foot pedals. Good choice for basic use but still looking for better.

These boots are beautiful - but run small across the width of the foot. I am sure they are waterproof but not sure this particular style could withstand Buffalo winters without room for heavy socks. Going to try a Sorel that is temperature rated. Should have known better. Not giving up on Sorel though!Love the quality.

I wanted to love these but they were really big on me especially in the heel... sadly, they were out of stock for me to try another size. The other thing that really bothered me was there was no arch support whatsoever but I wonder if I had been able to find a pair that fit better if I wouldn’t have noticed as much? I truly wasn’t looking to do a lot of walking with hear rather have something really warm to wear outside with the kids.

I wear an 8 or 8.5 and went with the 8. Comfortable fit and fashionable. Love the metallic canvas! These are perfect for walking around a wet and colder city but will not keep feet warm in super cold conditions. My toes almost froze walking around Quebec City in these. If you plan to be outside for longer periods of time in a colder or snowy climate, you will need insulated socks and be moving incessantly. If you plan to be in weather colder than 20 degrees go with a different insulated boot altogether that is rated for warmth.

I am a size 10 with long ties, skinny heels, and a standard bridge. I read a lot of reviews on Sorel’s website about the heel of the Joan of Artic’s collapsing after a few wears. So, I bought these in a 10.5. The shoes have a lot of room for my feet. If I went a size down, I think the heel of this shoe would be uncomfortable because it kind of dips inward and would rub on my heels. As long as my foot is forward in the shoe, it isn’t a problem. So, I advise buying a half size larger. Also, I got the tan color and it is beautiful.

These boots are ok. They are still a rubber boot and have a weird vamp/ heel combo. I have big calves so I can loosen the laces.

These are very comfortable, well made boots! They definitely have a slimmer profile than the Joan of Arctic, which I appreciate. The padding in the sole of the boot is excellent and the insulation feels like it would keep my feet nice and warm in the snow. However, the pair I received squeaked incessantly when I walked. I'm not sure if it's because I had to tighten the boots considerably to make them fit, or if it was perhaps a defective pair. I have a large foot and a small ankle/calf, so I had to tighten the boots as tight as they would lace in order to make them fit. I tried walking on tile, wood, and carpet, but no matter what surface I walked on the boots squeaked loudly. They were very comfortable boots, so I reluctantly returned them. I may end up ordering them again in hopes I received a defective pair.

Replaced some BearPaw snowboots with these and they are fabulous! Not big and clunky, super warm and super comfortable. Ordered a half size up to wear with thick socks in snow but I can also wear them barefoot and just tighten the laces. The fur trim seems thin and likely won't last long but it looks cute and the actual boot is great.

This boot is perfect for narrow feet! I tried the sorel joan of arc and sent it back because it was WAY too wide for my foot. It is warm and looks very fashionable. The fur allows me to dress it up as well. I added my own arch support inserts as I have a flat foot. I ordered a 10.5 and I normally wear between a 9 1/2 and 10. This allows me to wear thicker socks in the snow when we go skiing :). It is not a heavy boot which makes it perfect for walking around town all day and it keeps your feet warm. It is waterproof up to the top of the tongue (tongue is connected all the way down). So excited to have finally found a narrow pair of snow boots! thank you Zappos for speedy delivery/returns!

These boots are cute, but I have 2 major complaints. First, the right boot rubs right above my heel when I walk (it creases there). I thought this would go away as I broke the boots in, but I have been wearing them regularly for over a month now and nothing has changed. It still hurts to walk in them. Second, my socks (Smartwools) are often wet after a day of wearing these boots. Wearing them two days in a row results in a gross smell. I guess they are too warm for inside/outside wear for me. Will have to save these for snow play days only. Too bad, because they are cute with skinny jeans.

I bought these boots a month ago and instantly loved them. They are cute, warm, comfortable, perfectly waterproof - seemed the perfect winter boot for the nasty Wisconsin winters. However, I have had 2 very nasty falls on ice in these boots. The first was a few weeks ago on black ice. Then this morning on a wet icy sidewalk, both feet went out from under me in a blink and I went down flat on my back. Probably cracked my tail bone. The tread on these boots is completely useless on a slick sidewalk. I still love the boots but will never again wear them when it's icy outside.
