I wanted to love these boots because they look pretty good and they're waterproof. I've had good luck with Sorel in the past. But these boots are very weird because they have a rubber outer shoe and then a fabric inner liner that is more like a sock in that it's not actually attached to the rubber part of the boot.
The problem is, I ordered up a full size to accommodate winter socks, and while the rubber outer shoe is plenty roomy (i.e. when I put on the shoe and press on the outside of the toe of the shoe and wiggle my toes, I have ample room and in fact it sort of feels a little too big), INSIDE the boot, the liner is SOOOOOO tight. Like basically it feels like the boot is a 9.5 and the liner is for a size 7. It's so tight that it makes the insole buckle and/or come up at the back when there's no foot in the boot. Just wearing it for one minute around the house makes my toenails hurt, even if I try it without any socks at all. If I reach down inside the boot with my hand, I can feel that the liner is stretched very snugly around the insole and isn't anywhere near as big as the rubber part of the boot. It's awful.
It seems like the only solution would be to cut out the liner, but then it's just a rubber rain boot without lining or insulation. So unfortunately, these have to go back.

These run very Small...wear a 7.5. Tried on in a local shoe store after sending 7.5 back, need a size 9 with
thin socks.

I ordered this boot 3 times. I'm generally a tried and true 7.5 in Sorel but not the case with this boot. I returned and ordered an 8, which was still too small. I returned that boot and re-ordered at a size 8.5 (full size smaller) and they still weren't right. The arch support between both boots was completely different between the left and right boots. Having bought 3 shoes, I realized that while the shoe itself was getting longer, the felt liner didn't change at all so my toes were constantly crunched. They are adorable shoes but not keeping them d/t fit.

I wanted to like these SOO MUCH! But after several times of wearing these boots in the winter, I realize my feet were getting wet. It started at my toes and gradually spread to the middle of my feet until my feet were completely soaked. I thought that maybe the boots were just defected so bought a different pair but nope, still had wet feet. Will be returning these. Not worth the $100+ if I can't wear them in the winter.

I really enjoyed these shoes, but then the light brown material around the heel started to peel off. Then the rubber at the bottom of the heel also started to fall off. So, I guess in the end I got to find out what is underneath of the heel looks like. It's white and hard. However, until this started to happen, I really enjoyed the boots. They helped keep me warm for the short time I had them.

I love Sorel products. Have been purchasing Sorel for at least 25 years. The boots in the more recent years are not as warm as they used to be. I have a pair of vintage Sorels that I cannot let go of because they are so warm but cannot wear because the zippers are broken. I was so excited to receive these boots because they are super cute. I am a solid size 6.5 with a medium width. The length of these boots fits perfectly but the width is extremely narrow. I tried wearing them with no socks but they were snug and my feet were freezing. Then I tried taking out the liners and wearing them with socks. They were not as snug, still a little tight but comfortable enough to wear. However, my feet were extremely freezing cold like I was wearing insulated ice packs on my feet. Too say the least I am disappointed.

Not happy with these at all. The size was extremely small and the sole was not soft and supportive like all of the other Sorel shoes I have owned in the past.

I bought them less than a year ago so they didn't even survive one season. The right heel is just disintegrating and the left one is getting there. I'm really disappointed!

These are the best looking boots for winter and wet weather, but they just are not well made. The heel of my boot is falling off after barely being worn. So disappointing and concerning. It seems Sorel can't be trusted for quality any more.

I bought these boots a couple months ago and I was so excited for them because they are cute, comfortable, and easy to put on and take off! They really are wonderful boots except that whatever the heal is stained with/made with stains floors! If you wear them in snow for even a few minutes and take them off inside the heal leaks onto the floor! I've stained a few floors like this and I plain cannot get the stain out so that's why these boots get one star. It's really heartbreaking because otherwise I love them, but I feel awful for staining my grandmother's floor beyond repair just because I took my boots off in her house.

These are so thin, they feel like socks. I don’t know how anyone could stay warm, or feel supported at all. Also, I am a size 8 in literally every brand and these fit like 7. Way too small. They were also scratched up. Returned!

I am a woman’s size 9. After reading the reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size up. STILL these sorel boots are too small! I’m exchanging them for a size 10. Hopefully they fit!

I bought these boots because I wanted a sturdy pair of winter boots. I like that these are look timeless so I really hoped they would go the distance. They did not. Within a few months of owning them, the interior fabric wore out on the heel. Very disappointing.

The boot itself is the most comforatable boot ever. Lightweight, warm and perfect fit, but as other have stated, I full size up is required.
Sadly, on both boots, the leather around the heel has peel off and the rubber is wearing off as well. This started happening within a couple of months. Without a receipt, I cannot get warranty.
I would love to have them repaired because A good boot that you can wear all day is hard to find! Please Sorel, make it right!

I loved these when I tried them on -- comfy and warm, and my size fit perfectly. However, I walked to work in them only twice and the heels came unglued; both heels were halfway detached. Thankfully, the store I bought them from had no problem issuing a speedy refund. Don't buy these boots; they're not constructed to last.

I'm usually a size 8.5, but size up to 9 for boots. With this shoe I had to buy a size 10, and it was the least supportive boot I've ever worn. I thought they would break in, but they never did. The inside was hard, like walking on a brick, offered zero support of any kind, and wasn't that warm (even with thick socks) as I was accustomed to from Sorel. I've purchased a new pair of boots every 2-3 years from Sorel, and the only good thing I have to say about these boots is that my dog at the upper cuff off one so I wouldnt need to wear them anymore.

Received these boots as a Christmas present last year. Wore them a handful of times. Maybe 10-15 wears from January to April. I always wash all my boots before putting them up for the summer to remove any dirt or salt residue. All my boots are put in my closet on the shoe rack to make sure their shape maintains and that they don't get damaged. I pulled them out and laced them up this past week due to 30 degree weather in MI and while I was wearing them I noticed something on the heel. I sat down to get a closer look at noticed the heels are PEELING OFF! What I thought was a solid wood heel is actually a wood like fabric that comes right off!! I pulled up the warranty to review what it entails. They state I am welcome to send them in to have them reviewed to see if the damage to my boots is covered. To my surprise, I will have to pay probably around $15-$20 to get this reviewed and not even guaranteed to be refunded or replaced. Even if they uphold their warranty, why in the world would I ever want another pair of these? I would be certain it would happy again especially considering MANY others are stating having the exact same problem. That is considered defective when numerous people have the same problem regarding a product. What I think is so crazy, is that based on my photos, how is that not enough evidence that my boots are defective? Instead, I have to spend my money to spend them in? My advice, save your money for another boot without this cheap fabric on the heel or better yet, spend your hard earned money on a different brand who has a warranty they are proud to have!

I normally wear an 8 1/2, so I ordered the 9 based on other's reviews saying they run smaller. I got the 9 and it was tight. I returned those and got a 9 1/2 and they're perfect. I wanted to be able to wear thick socks with them as it seems winter is never going to end here in Minnesota this year!

I live in Colorado and have loved Sorels for years. They are my go to, and I currently own 4 pairs in different styles. I purchased these as a slimmer, less bulky alternative to my Joan of Arctics. However, this pair of Slimpacks seem to be made of extremely cheap materials. I have worn them in normal snowy Colorado conditions, and after only 3 months the heels are peeling apart. What appears to be a nice wooden heel is actually a thin veneer over a plastic heel, and wearing them in the snow has caused it to start to peel off and now they look pretty bad. The biggest bummer is that other than the heel these are cute, comfortable, and pretty waterproof...but the heel is of really, really low quality. I expect my waterproof boots to last more than three months, especially with the price tag in excess of $120.

I bought these thinking they would be a good replacement for my UGGS. But theyre not. The rubber on the heel is deteriorating after 2 months of consistent use. Definitely a waste of money even though winter barely started. I was hoping these would last a few years.
I emailed Sorel about this since it seems to be a recurring issue seen in other reviews. I wasnt even acknowledged.

We have other Sorels at home so I ordered the same size. I had read reviews that said they run small so I ordered a size bigger. Too small. Another size... STILL too small. Thankfully the customer service is excellent and the exchange and return process was easy peasy.

I read the reviews and was skeptical but ordered anyway because these are so cute. They are cute and they DO run small so order up! In the end I'm returning them because the fit was not comfortable.
