Absolutely LOVE these boots! I normally wear a 6.5 in other Sorels, but had to size up to a 7 in these boots. You will NOT regret purchasing!!

Love the style, fit and colors of this book. Also love that it's lightweight and the footpad feels more like a tennis shoe than a boot. I bought a half size up after looking at reviews, but am having to send those back to get my true size. A friend has had a pair of these boots for 2 years and they're still her favorite.

I loved the quality of these boots, but unfortunately the the size 11 didn't fit me at all.

If you need a pair of rain boots that are both stylish and utility, I recommend these Sorel Slimpack riding boots! Not only do you get the benefit of strong, waterproof rain boots, but you can pair them with a knee-length skirt and look cute at the same time! I own a pair for just those occasions: when I know that rain is imminent but I have to dress up a bit at the same time. Plus, you can just hose them off when you're done with them! Warning: they're a bit hard to get into. Wear thin socks to help get your foot in. They're also a touch narrower than I expected (though not uncomfortable), so take this into account before you buy/wear them. Otherwise, this was a great purchase!

Absolutely what I was hoping for- wore them all winter! They still look great. My go- to boots for sure. ??

I live in Seattle after all. When I wear these out and it's raining I get tons of compliments, probably bc of the mix of the classic Sorel rubber around the bottom and the water-resistant leather shaft make it an eye-catching rain boot. If the water is going above any "seam line" or water proof level, time to switch footwear!

I just got these from Zappos. I'd been trying to find a good boot for awhile after receiving some unsuitable footwear for Christmas. Lots of returns (Uggs just pinch my toes). But these feel pretty dang great. About me: I'm a size 12 in clothing, so you would not describe my calves as slim. I wear a 9.5 in a shoe, so I went with a size 10 in these. The size is right. My calves do not feel pinched, though the boots are reasonably form-fitting. The strap detail in the back is helpful to adjust that, and to pull the boot on. The riding boot is going to be my spring and fall choice. They are soft, of sturdy proper leather, and quite comfortable for walking - almost as comfortable as a pair of sneakers on my dicey lower back, even with the bit of a heel. They won't be as warm as the Joan of Arctics in deep winter, and they're not proper summer shoes for sure. They look like NYC fashion week made a riding boot for the rain. Very good choice for wear every day during transitional seasons.

I've had this boot for two years now (originally bought them for a trip to Seattle) and I can't complain. They did their job from keeping my feet wet! I love the adjustable straps allowing room for my calves and I did order a half a size up (no regrets there). I did notice this second year, my toes felt a little damp which made me a little sad, but I need to inspect the boot if there's any holes or what not! Overall, love this boot and would recommend.

I have 3 pairs of Sorel boots and always wear a 10. I have narrow feet and smaller ankles and these were a challenge to get on. My toe did hit a little closer to edge than I’m used to but I bought them more for rain and mud than for snow so likely won’t wear too thick of socks. They were a challenge to get on and off but now that I’ve worn them in a bit, they fit great. I don’t know that I would have wanted to go up a half size. If you have a wider foot or want to wear a thicker sock, definitely go up a half size.

I LOVE these boots! I usually wear an 8 and ordered an 8.5 and they are perfect. They are not bulky and can be woren for casual events. They are a must have! Zappos was awesome as usual through the process! I do agree on ordering a half size up.

Bought these in black as a dressier-looking alternative to my aubergine Hunter wellies, and so far I love them. Purchased in a 10, and that's about spot-on size-wise for me. I do have a narrow foot and I don't swim in these, but there's room as you'd expect from a rainboot-style fit. I would say these aren't as quite as wide as my Hunter wellies, but I can still wear a thick sock and feel comfy and cozy rather than cramped. I think style-wise, these do split the difference between rainboots and riding boots well. I can wear these with a dress and tights, or with skinny jeans or slacks, and they don't shout "big galumphing rain/snow boot." These are great for getting around in high snow when it's piled up - like when the whole neighborhood is cleared except for that one house, or the shortest path between your car and your destination is through a plow bank. I've worn these for at least an hour outside in subfreezing temps and been fine. Unsure about more time than that, but that's pretty good considering this is my nicer winter boot. You could probably use these as your only go-to, but in my case I prefer to wear these for running errands, going to work, etc. rather than shoveling the driveway. One more thing, while I have fairly muscular calves, I don't usually have trouble with the shaft fit so I don't need a lot of the extra room in the calf that the straps allow, but they do a good job to cinch the top, and make it look more finished instead of like these are too large for me.

I love love the boot and style! Unfortunately they do not fit my calves??. Excellent boot though! Will be returning.

Just got these today and am very happy with them. As far as winter/waterproof boots go, I'm not particularly a fan of any—Simply put, when is someone going to make an affordable, stylish winter boot? However, this boot is as close it gets. It's slim style doesn't make me look like I'm going to Alaska! The heel is stylist enough for city walking. And the expandable buckles on the back enable you to put even wide-leg jeans snugly inside so they don't get wet. I normally wear a size 8-8 1/2 and got the 81/2 based on other people's suggestions that they run slightly smaller. That was a great suggestion as the 8 1/2 fits perfectly. I'm keeping them. The only thing that I would want is a thicker, warmer inside like my Ugg boots (that are not waterproof!).

I found these to run small. Even ordering up half a size. I may reorder a whole size up. Really nicely made.

I read the reviews and order a size up and I do believe my actual size (8.5) would have been fine .. but I’m going to put an insole in them and love them just the same !!

These are great boots! Have had two surgeries on my feet and I have to be careful about all my shoes. I ordered a half size larger so I could wear a sock in the cold weather. And I bought an arch support insert. That said, I can wear these ALL DAY LONG without one message from my feet to take them off! They are well made , great looking (I get compliments all the time). I saw them on a girl's feet in a restaurant and went over to her table to ask her who makes these boots! She told me she gets so many compliments. This is a great investment. I think I'll buy another pair just in case they stop making them. Typically when I really like a shoe, they get cancelled! I have wide feet and there is plenty of room for my toes to wiggle. That's a must for me. And when it rains, My tootsies are DRY !!

I am not in between sizes. I always order a size 7. But these fit like a size 6.5, with thin socks. Otherwise great. But I don't appreciate the hassle of returning. They should just get it right.

I LOVE these boots. Wear them all the time. They are a little heavy but it doesn't bother me. Pretty comfortable. I get compliments all the time on them. I wear a 7.5-8 and got an 8.5 for extra room so that I could wear a boot liner with them for snow. But I haven't had to use a liner with them so far (2 years!) as they have been warm enough without one.

Really love these boots. Finally a pair of boots that can look cute too, while keeping you warm and dry. Great alternative to my uggs. I've worn them snow shoeing without an issue as well.
