These are gorgeous. I got them for my daughter, and she can not only wear them for every day at school, but also in the snow.

Very cute, versatile, and very comfortable -- a lot like wearing leather sneakers. I usually wear a size 7, but after reading other reviews, sized up to a 7.5 to allow for socks -- it was a good decision, but with thin socks the regular size 7 probably would have worked.

I needed boots to ride my boyfriends bike in and these serve that purpose and then some. I can walk all day in them and not have any foot/knee/shin pain. Cute with skinny jeans and I can tell I will wear them a lot when fall comes back around. Very comfortable right out of the box, true to size/ a bit small if you want to wear with thicker socks. I'd go up a half size regardless. Good quality materials that so far seem to be worth the cost. Loved it so much I got it in black too!

This is my 3rd pair of Teva de la vina boots, though I now have 2 ankle (plain black and mosaic black), 1 low (my least favorite due to awkward shaft height) and these. I wear them with tights, leggings, and bare-legged with short/long dresses and skirts. These have the most casual look of all my other pairs. They are not true black, but a soft matte black--more like a deep gray . During winter, they get quite dusty looking from salt (?)--easily cleaned--but I don't have this experience with my other pairs. I like the ease and versatility of wearing the shaft folded or tall. I usually wear them folded, because of the lack of a zipper means you have to unlace and lace every time. Folded, I can just push my feet in and pull them out without messing with the laces. There little fashionable details on this boot that make it very stylish--especially for a waterproof boot that could be worn in all seasons and all weather. In my experience, all 4 pairs of my Teva de la vina have felt slightly snug/narrow on the first day, but have stretched enough so that I can comfortably wear thick or thin socks. I used to be a ballet dancer and am now at university. These are the few pairs of boots that I can get my extremely high arches in and walk around on campus (averaging about 3 miles of walking and 10 flights of stairs carrying about 20 lbs of stuff) without pain from aggravating previous injuries.

I am SO happy with these boots! I live in South FL, so all I pretty much wear are sandals (birks). I wanted some boots for when it is chilly and rainy, and these worked out great. They were a little tight width wise (especially since the only closed shoes I am used to are my sneakers), but I broke them in by putting on two pairs of heavy socks and heating them with a blow dryer, and it made a HUGE difference. I wore them to Universal in January when it was in the 40's and rainy, and my feet stayed warm and dry. I have heel pain in one foot and need really good arch support, and my feet were good after 12 hours of wear. Very happy with my first pair of boots! I usually wear a 9 but I followed reviews and went up a half size and they are a perfect fit. If you're going to wear really heavy socks you may want to go up a whole size. The thickest I have worn are SmartWool socks and the fit is still good.

I love these boots. I have terrible feet and ankles, and I struggle to find any shoes or boots that I can wear for more than an hour without serious pain, even with prescription orthotics. I bought these boots fervently hoping that they would help me enjoy a winter trip to Paris, and boy did they exceed expectations. At one point the tendinitis on the inside of my ankle flared up, but after flipping up the cuff on the boots and tying them tightly, I was able to keep going for another three hours! On top of that, they are just so cute and stylish. I wear them with cuffed skinny jeans and get so many compliments. I absolutely love these boots and wear them every day. I'm thinking about getting a second pair in a different color.

Spent a lot of time thinking about this boot purchase, and I'm happy to report that I love these boots. I totally like the style - it's tough without a true combat look. And more importantly they are really comfortable and kept my feet dry throughout a snowy, rainy, New England New Year's night on the streets.

I love these boots. Very, very comfortable and so cute. The arch support is excellent. I did order a half size up and they fit perfect. It is a bit complicated with the laces and the leather straps on the boots but the comfort and cuteness make that not a huge deal.
