I have never put on shoes like those before - they fit like a glove, supersoft leather, like a second skin! I love love love those boots, roomy enough for warm socks, nice round toe box, sturdy look in combination with extreme comfortable wear - worth every cent!

I have been looking for some nice black suede boots for a few months. When I saw these, I waa a little hesitant to spend so much,especially since I wasn't familiar with the brand. But,reading about the quality,comfort and thought that this company puts into their boots,(and because they were just so cute),I decided to give them a try. When I first opened the box, I knew these boots were quality. They are just gorgeous! How they can make these lush suede beauties waterproof,stylish and so comfortable, is amazing! There was absolutely zero break in time. The first day I pulled these on, I wore them for hours out Christmas shopping! I couldn't believe that my very sensitive toes stayed happy and comfy all day! You can feel that these are premium,carefully crafted boots. The zipper style gives you a little bit of edge,just enough,and I loved that. I have thin calves and really have a tough time finding boots that fit the way that I want them to. But, no worries here,because with skinny jeans,leggings,or tights, they stayed up,and looked extremely sharp! These are buttery soft, comfortable,stylish and worth every penny! Having the heel height,gives you more styling options, and actually gave me the support I wanted in the arch area. I know I will be wearing these stunning boots for years to come. Zappos as always got these to me fast and packaged carefully. Of course, they're Zappos!

I love these boots! Comfortable chunky heel, zippers on the outside (so they don't snag my tights), quality materials, generous calf. True to size. I ordered a couple different brands of boots and sadly will return these because I decided on a mid height style. These are too similar to another pair I have, or I'd keep them I will surely be looking at La Canadienne boots again

These are just a little loose all over. they are the right size, but the fit isn't perfect.

Very comfortable, beautiful materials. I don’t love the line around the top but I’m keeping them because it’s so hard to find well made & timeless boots that are wide enough for my feet

I have a pair of La Canadienne boots and love them. These, not so much. Not the same quality. Arch support is not there for me. I don't like the zipper on the outside of the boot

I love this boot (minimalist design, comfort, flexible sole, round toe) except for the zipper being on the outside. Put the zipper on the inside and they’d be perfect! I kept em anyway;)

Ordered the 7.5 and then the 7. They're just too long for me, sadly. I think they are absolutely gorgeous and kind of my dream boot, but not proportioned for my foot. But you'll love them and they're beautifully made--neither too fancy nor too self-effacing. Proud and chill and warm and waterproof. Love them!

I purchased the stone oiled suede hoping the color would be more gray than brown. It wasn't. If the color had been what I was looking for, I would have loved them. They had a substantial, good quality feeling. I knew my feet would feel warm because of the materials and the base of the shoe. My toes had plenty of room and the top of the boot did not gap. I wish La Canadienne made a boot in gray. I would buy it in a heartbeat!

This boot is perfect in so many ways. La Canadienne makes great boots for winter - I buy at least one pair every year. They are warm and comfortable. The traction/sole on this one should be on every boot to deal with snow and ice- I think it is their best. My only gripe with these is that the zipper is on the outside, which is both awkward to zip and really uncomfortable when you sit with your legs crossed. And since I generally sit this way, this is a bummer, because otherwise these would be the perfect boot.

Color is darker than it appears. Boot runs 1/2 to 1 size large and is heavy.. It is well made but a tad clunky.Toe bed is very round.

These boots are high quality and very well made. I got the tan color which is very cute, size 9.5. However the left boot's insole has a bump that make it very uneven and uncomfortable to walk. You can feel it with every step you take, very annoying. No adjustment can be made and they are not removable. Too bad, because I really like these boots. At this price point, the boots have to be flawless. They are going back.

I love these boots but I returned them because I didn’t care for the way the looked on. The zipper on the outside of the leg instead of the inside was not optimal. If I’m going to spend $565 on boots they need to be exactly what I want.

A beautifully made boot. Perfect in every detail. Just not practical for me. The heel is too high and I felt uncomfortable when I tried to walk in them. I need stability for our winter weather conditions. I have an old pair of this brand of boots that I still wear. They are so well made and still look great. Better sole than they new ones.

The zipper was defective and pressed into my ankle on both sides:-(. Was trying to replace an older version of this boot that I LOVE.
