Love Love Love this boot. The Brown is classy. It has a bit of a tough girl vibe with the rounded toe and heel. Very comfortable - I could walk for miles in this boot. Perfect fit - I'm a 7.5 B in most shoes, but sneakers I typically order up, so I ordered the 8. Finally, the perfect boot!!

Immediately comfortable and stylish too. Zipper on the outside a little hard to reach but adds the the uniqueness of the boot.

These are beautiful, perfect fitting boots. But they are too warm for my mild winter climate. If you live near or below zero, these waterproof gorgeous winter boots are for you. Comfy too!

I love these boots! They're really comfortable and look great. Not at all dressy, but they elevate a casual look. Planning to wear these a lot this winter. Pricy, but I love the brand and I know they'll wear well and hold up to the elements.

I have never spent so much on a pair of boots but these are worth every penny. Beautifully made, beautiful suede, suede lining on the inside too.

Ugh. I’m on the fence here. I wanted brown boots and bought 5 pair. Tried them on and picked the ONE pair that wasn’t brown. Mission not accomplished. So I waited a few days and tried them all on again. This pair is definitely comfortable right out of the box. But they are so plain. Boyfriend says they look like his muk luk rubber work boots. I don’t want to spend this much on a pair of very plain boots but I also don’t want to take them off ... what to do??

I'm so happy with these boots. I have 15 inch calfs and these fit perfectly....I can still wear them over fitted jeans if I wanted. Sleek, solid, supportive. I'm also very happy with the stone color. They are still looking good into January weather.

I was so excited to get these boots even though I practically had to take out a loan to buy them. Beautifully made, soft, excellent sturdy sole, perfect stitching but I got the wrong size. I followed the advice of some of the other customers and sized a half size down. I’m a solid 9 and 8 1/2s were way too snug. I will reorder them after I can find a discount. Otherwise they are gorgeous special boots.

Normally wear 7.5 in La Canadienne. Have many pairs. The manufacturer recommended ordering a half size down. They were spot on. The size 7 fit perfect. Glad i followed the suggestion. These are keepers!

One half size too small, but they feel great and look great. I've ordered this brand before; they are pricey, but they last a long time. In this case, you get what you pay for.

As soon as I put these boots on I knew they were keepers! Definetely worth the money!

Amazing pair of boots- remarkable quality and will spoil you for buying anything cheaper. They fit like a glove and are absolutely beautiful. Totally worth the price after wearing cute boots that hurt my feet as I walk all day long on the job. These are like pillows on the feet.

This another beautiful boot from my new favorite brand, La Canadienne. I purchased the Cecile for my daughter for Xmas. She loved the styling except for the zipper which is placed on the outside of the boot. I hadn't even noticed that when I ordered the boat, but she doesn't like it so it's going back. I gave the Cecile a 4 star because of this, but let me clarify, I don't think most people will be put off by the zipper placement. In fact, I'm trying to get myself a pair in the same stone oiled sand . . . it's a really neat color that I think will work well with jeans and an LLBean Signature oiled field coat I purchased this Fall. Fingers crossed that zappos will get my size in soon!

I just love La Candadienne boots. This is my fourth pair over the years. They are expensive but worth it. I have very difficult feet to fit, and I can count on La Candienne boots to be comfortable. They are also so beautifully made and stylish. I am using these as my every day boot in the rainy winter here in Portland.

Comfortable without having to break them in. High quality. Sturdy sole.

It's always hard to find stylish but functional boots with a firm treaded forefoot and heel sole for heavy winter conditions in the 11.5-12 size range, but these boots seem to fit that description. Because I prefer a more firm rigid sole than flexible sole for long distance walking in very snowy and icy winter conditions, these tall, soft, lightly insulated boots seem like a good choice. The price is steep but they appear quite sturdy and well made. Because I have a tendency to wear-out soles, I called La Canadienne to ask if these boots could have a new sole applied if the current one wore down over time and was told that the heel sole can be replaced but not the sole of the forefoot (due to the construction of the boot). The boot looks as though it could last forever... if the sole will too. I typically wear a true size 11.5 and needed to order the size 12 in this boot. However, as I didn't consider the insole of the boot to be very comfortable or soft, the extra roon provided me space to add a comfortable insole. I like the wide side zipper for easy access, functionality, and looks. This is definitely a serious, rugged but feminine- due to its construction and softness- looking boot, not so much a 'party' boo a good commuter boot for cold, snowy winter conditions.

Beautiful color, soft boots. The zipper on the outside has been a bit of a mind-bender. You can scratch yourself when you cross your legs and you mentally have to remember the zipper is on the opposite side. I am 5'2" with short legs and a long torso. The boots come under my knee - so not too high. I usually wear them with jeans.

These are my second pair of La Canadienne and they are worth EVERY penny!! The boots are beautiful and extremely comfortable. If you have bigger calves these may be difficult to zip. My only issue is I would prefer the zipper on the inner side rather than the outer side. Please switch it back!!

This boot runs true to size and is really comfortable. Unfortunately I have to return them because they are too large for my calves

These boots were absolutely gorgeous and comfortable... but my calves needed another 1/2 inch of space. So alas, I had to return them. At least I'm not $500 poorer.

This is my third pair of La Canadiennes and like the others, these are the perfect combination of elegant style and comfortable on the feet. The taupe color is beautiful, suede is soft. I love the design details like the zipper on the outer side and the variation in heel color. They are pricey but the quality is worth it. They are definitely snug on the calves, which is fine with me since I plan to wear them with tights but for muscular legs or with thick jeans they could be too snug.
