Customer Reviews Columbia Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown Jacket

I purchased this jacket because it was the most similar to another Columbia product in which the zipper was failing to operate consistently. The prior product is the same jacket but with 650TD (650 turbo down fill). Now that it is cold again, I have tried the jacket and noticed that it is not as warm as the prior product. I am disappointed in the product and I have to have additional layers under the jacket when it is colder outside which is not what I was expecting when I purchased it. I recommend it only because it is still a nice jacket but just not as warm as you would think. My hopes for a repeat performance on a good product have been dashed.

Terrible jacket. Do not buy!

I've never owned another down jacket that shed so much as this one. Too bad, since I really like the green color. I can't wear it in the car, it sheds so bad and the feathers get stuck in the seat fabric.

I bought this jacket after saving for a couple months and making sure it was what I wanted. Somehow the stuffing comes though the tiny thermal coil pores. Worn 2 or 3 times and sick and tired of having people tell me that I have white furry stuff all over me every time I take off my jacket. Not worth the money!!!

For the price that one pays for this it would be expected to be much warmer. Only has been worn approximately 5 times and never washed and the amount of feathers coming out is unacceptable.
